Titan King: Ascension of the Giant Chapter 1391 In the name of my Father

Previously on Titan King: Ascension of the Giant...
The City of Emeric lay in ruins, its walls breached by silver-eyed warriors as the Silver-Eyed King Orthelius and his Arch Lords encircled the chaotic battlefield above. Kaelen, transformed into a raging four-headed Stoneheart Titan avatar, unleashed Instant Impact and Heart of the Titan against Emeric, driven by a deep-seated grudge over Emeric's past pursuit of his mother, which had forced the Dark Butterfly Clan into hiding. Desperate, Emeric detonated his physical form to summon his colossal Body of Faith, vowing vengeance as the two clashed in a frenzy of raw power, while Orthelius watched, intrigued by Kaelen's mysterious, over-tier bloodline.

The greater the realm achieved, the more fearsome an Over-tier warrior turned out to be.

From King Orthelius's perspective, should Kaelen manage to hold his own against an Arch Lord even while remaining in the Legendary Realm, his future prospects after advancement would know no bounds. Once he rose to Arch Lord status, the Silver-Eyed Tribe would find themselves forced to lower their heads and tread carefully in his presence.

Should we simply observe without intervening, Emeric's domain will soon gain a fresh overlord. We could end up swapping a controllable foe for something truly nightmarish.

As he observed Kaelen clashing fiercely with Emeric, a spark of respect ignited within the King's heart. Strength always earned his regard.

"Your Majesty, we can't permit him to survive," a different Arch Lord interrupted, snuffing out Orthelius's emerging esteem.

"Unless..." Marielle, the King's uncle, inserted calmly. "Unless the young man agrees to wed into our tribe. Consider it. His fierce battle is all for restoring his mother's dignity. Such devotion reveals true allegiance. It displays genuine spirit."

Marital bonds. This age-old strategy for integrating hazardous lineages was one Marielle excelled at employing.

"It's worth attempting," Orthelius admitted, his gaze sharpening. "Yet if he turns it down? We need to strike him down without delay. Afterward, we eradicate the Dark Butterfly Clan. Capable of producing a beast like him, they could spawn yet another."

Orthelius gave a nod. Numerous daughters filled his household—certainly gifted ones, along with those of striking beauty. Offering up a couple to claim a potent asset like Kaelen struck him as a smart trade.

"Your Majesty," the third Arch Lord, Darian, declared. His eyes fixed on the fight, blending astonishment with blatant avarice. "Examine it more intently. Emeric belongs to the Dark Fiend race. Their kind resists physical harm almost entirely. Yet his true form? It lies in ruins."

"The method that youth employs to ignore physical invulnerability... we must possess it," Darian snarled. "Should recruitment succeed, the Silver-Eyed Kingdom has to seize that ability."

Avarice ignited in the gazes of the trio of commanders.

"Activate the suppression barrier," Orthelius ordered. "Should he reject the union, we'll deploy the Soul-Searching Arts. Extract the mystery from his thoughts prior to his death. Ensure he doesn't flee."

In the meantime, the confrontation had escalated to its most intense climax.

Like a fiend possessed, Kaelen battled onward, empowered by [Heart of the Titan] and [Instant Impact]. Yet the truth proved unforgiving. As a Legendary warrior, he faced an Upper Arch Lord who had invoked his Body of Faith.

Emeric adopted a patient approach. He permitted Kaelen to wear himself out battering those ethereal barriers.

BOOM!

A colossal peak of void energy formed from Emeric's Body of Faith, crashing onto Kaelen and entombing him beneath the soil again.

"Kaelen! Strength flows through you, yet victory eludes you here!" Emeric bellowed, his tone steadying somewhat while the debris cleared. "You've shattered my corporeal form. Doesn't that suffice? Your mother's reputation stands restored!"

"Survey your surroundings, lad! Vultures from the Silver-Eyed Kingdom circle above us! Death is what they crave for both of us!"

With a ghostly digit, Emeric indicated the floating group. "Victory for you or me changes nothing—we're fodder for them either way. Why resist allying? United, we'll forge an escape from this trap!"

Orthelius flinched. Emeric spoke truth. The loss of half his bodily essence weighed far heavier than Sophia's two decades in isolation. Possessing even basic survival instinct, Kaelen ought to accept the proposition.

"Kaelen, ignore his deceptions!" Orthelius called out, sending his words booming over the field of combat. "The Silver-Eyed Kingdom harbors no grudge against you or the Dark Butterfly Clan!"

"When the conflict concludes, we'll leave you in peace," Orthelius deceived with ease. "Actually, my counselors and I just conferred on an offer. Should you consent, we'd take pride in linking our bloodlines via matrimony."

"A champion like you merits the most exquisite women from our kind!"

Orthelius shot a venomous look at Emeric, inwardly damning him.

That cunning rogue.

Emeric sought to portray his devastating wound as a willing offering to halt the enmity. Utterly vile.

Orthelius aimed to shatter Emeric's tale. He extended the gesture of peace not from benevolence, but from shrewd planning. Soon, the Silver-Eyed Kingdom would border the Dark Butterfly Clan. Controlling the watchdog proved wiser than battling it.

Yet the pair of Arch Lords—the frantic demon and the scheming monarch—had committed a grave mistake.

The Stoneheart lineage received their underestimation.

They failed to grasp that for Orion's pure heir, combat transcended mere tactics or endurance. It became an altered state. In this mode, Kaelen ceased being merely a youth pursuing vengeance. He transformed into a conduit for the Titan's intent—a resolve that utterly rejected surrender.

Proposals of wedlock fell on deaf ears for Kaelen. Appeals for partnership went unnoticed. Only the blaze within him registered. He surrendered to its blaze.

"In the name of my Father..."

From the crater's depths, Kaelen's voice emerged, deep and gravelly, sending tremors across the terrain.

"Your child, Kaelen... offers this sacrifice!"

Buried in his core inheritance, yet another barrier unlocked.

[Divine Art: Blood Sacrifice]

This rite differed from Orion's own. The elder had given to enigmatic, celestial beings. Kaelen devoted himself to a presence far more immediate. He devoted himself to his sire.

Titanion Realm. Stoneheart City.

Suddenly, Orion's eyes snapped wide as he sat enthroned in deep meditation.

His enormous hand unfurled. Suspended mere inches from his flesh hovered one bead of aureate blood.

This belonged to Kaelen. Yet it mirrored his own as well.

With fierce warmth, the bead throbbed. Beyond mere heredity, it carried most of Kaelen's vitality. The youth scorched his lifespan from both sides, yielding his core being to the Titan King for raw might in return.

"Reckless child," Orion rumbled, a subtle grin softening his features.

The raw intensity of the boy's determination caught him off guard. For typical folk, yielding life essence meant no return journey. It betrayed a horrifying drive toward triumph.

"Fine," Orion whispered, enclosing the bead in his fist. "You've pushed to this extreme, so witness what true armament allows you."

Orion shut his eyes.

Via the unseen bond of lineage and belief, he channeled a torrent of his personal Divine Power into the emptiness, directing it precisely toward the spirit invoking him.
