THE VILLAIN'S POV Chapter 756: Fulghor vs Vayne (1)

Previously on THE VILLAIN'S POV...
Frey Starlight harnessed the full potential of his Void Eyes during his fierce clash with Amon, perceiving countless paths through the demon's inescapable barrage of strikes and weaving through them with shadows to close the distance. Activating Screen Shot to freeze time, he unleashed Nameless Judgement, a devastating beam of Soulfire and Black Hole Aura that engulfed Amon and scarred the battlefield, though the demon regenerated amid the ruins. As they resumed their brutal exchange, Frey sensed Amon's genuine respect and unwavering loyalty despite the life-or-death struggle. Deep within his inner abyss, Frey carved a resolute path toward his ultimate ambition, earning Nameless's solemn affirmation to pursue it without retreat.

In the span of just one night, Earth morphed into a fierce warzone clashing the Shadow Sect against the High Demons.

Corruption scattered far and wide from the fight, while the showdown pitting Frey Starlight versus Amon stood out as its intense climax.

However, Earth wasn't the sole victim of the chaos... the far-off moon endured its own brutal share too.

The unexpected arrival of the world Fulghor shifted the entire tide of the conflict. That hulking four-limbed giant flung the Rank Three Demoness Vayne from Earth straight to the moon in one devastating strike.

Right at the last second, Vayne wrapped her form in shadows, letting the King’s Shadow soak up the bulk of the impact and jolt. Still, Fulghor’s brute physical might operated on a whole other plane.

Fulghor bridged the gap with horrifying velocity and landed on the moon's face to confront Vayne... their skirmish had kicked off well before.

The real casualty in this showdown turned out to be the moon. A huge chunk of it had been cleaved open before by Frey, and now two beasts waged war on its battered terrain.

Vayne unfurled her shadow broadly, dispatching waves of dark threads rushing at Fulghor.

Fulghor proved bizarre... he didn't just dash over the moon's ground, but leaped through the void and empty sky alike.

His velocity proved crushing, letting him dodge the majority of Vayne’s strikes. Yet dodging wasn't all he managed.

Nestled between Fulghor’s limbs, the prior weapon dissolved away, swapped for an enormous bow crafted from his golden aura.

Those bow's projectiles sprang straight from pure aura, and each release saw Fulghor unleashing a bolt aimed at Vayne.

Whenever that happened, the moon's crust trembled from a massive blast—like a nuke going off, far from just a lone shot.

Each instance, Vayne countered the assault head-on using her shadows... though her fury shone through plainly.

"That savage bastard... appearing out of nowhere and humiliating me like this!" Vayne burned with genuine rage.

The aura pressing around her intensified, her purple locks thrashing madly in all directions.

She mirrored Wesker in striking ways, like a feminine counterpart to him... but where her sibling flashed a mischievous grin, her features stayed locked in constant wrath.

The overwhelming force Vayne released packed real menace. With one sweep of her arm, an incredible event unfolded—something that had every soul on Earth staring skyward in shock.

The King’s Shadow... that savage demoness's umbral essence... ballooned to grotesque sizes until it swallowed the broken moon whole, blanketing it in choking gloom.

The view chilled to the bone.

Yet Fulghor betrayed no sign under his steel mask.

His gaze burned with that familiar golden shine as he kept bounding across the vacuum, treating the cosmos like his personal playground.

"As expected of the King’s Shadow... what an irritating ability," Fulghor’s voice echoed—grand and fearsome, resonant like it came from some eternal entity born at creation's start.

"Don’t worry .. this shadow will swallow you soon enough!" Vayne bellowed in warning, thrusting her palm at Fulghor.

To that gesture, the whole moon seemed to heed her call, assailing him from every angle simultaneously.

Shadowy whips and enormous dark fists erupted from all sides, charging at Fulghor in a terrifying display.

For all his immense bulk, Fulghor looked tiny amid that sea of night.

Nevertheless, the Shadow Sect fighter showed no pause. In a flash, he shaped another shaft of brilliant golden radiance.

With boundless might and accuracy, Fulghor launched the shot right into the advancing tide of obscurity.

BOOOOOOM!!

Yet again, the basic bolt sparked a blast akin to atomic fury that almost seared Vayne's vision.

That one discharge wiped out a vast swath of the shadows, stoking her wrath even higher.

The Rank Three Demoness struck back without delay, unleashing fresh surges of shadows at her foe—but Fulghor replied by crafting another arrow and sending it flying her way.

BOOOOOOM!!

Fulghor rattled the emptiness, compelling Vayne to fall back into her shadows as a huge pit formed in the gloom enveloping the moon.

And once more... Fulghor let loose another arrow.

And yet another.

And still one more.

BOOOOOOM!!

BOOOOOOM!!

BOOOOOOM!!

The ruin wrought by those shots defied words.

The nearest match lay in atomic bombs.

Every arrow packed an insane, beastly load of aura... sufficient to drain even certain SSS-class warriors. But Fulghor unleashed them like trifles.

Caged in that barrage of unending blasts, Vayne shifted from attack to mere survival, frozen in place.

"That bastard... how can he fire so many attacks without stopping?! Just how large is his aura reserve, damn it?!" she raged in her mind.

Veins twisted like serpents over Vayne’s features as she frantically hunted for escape.

At the same time, Fulghor kept vaulting through the void overhead, pelting her with his barrage of atomic-grade missiles.

"This is the first time I’ve fought you, Rank Three Demon," Fulghor stated evenly, "and it seems you know nothing about me."

He conjured additional arrows... eight in total this round.

"If you’re waiting for me to be exhausted," he went on, "then I should tell you there’s no point."

Fulghor unleashed the octet of arrows together, obliterating shadows on a grander scale and jolting the moon with savage force.

"My name is Fulghor .. the one titled after a planet, because my aura reserves are equal to one," he proclaimed in a resonant tone, already shaping eight fresh arrows brimming with dreadful aura volumes.

"Within the Shadow Sect, I possess the largest aura reserve of all. In that regard, I surpass even my lord, Nameless, by nearly threefold."

Again, Fulghor fired his volley—solidifying his command over the fray.

In mere moments, he had razed most of the shadow blanketing the moon.

"But my lord Nameless possesses a peculiar ability .. one that allows him to reduce his aura consumption to nearly zero with every use. Despite the sheer power of his techniques... in terms of control, he is the finest in the entire world."

Fulghor shaped eight further arrows, his voice holding deep and unwavering.

"Even though I possess three times what he does, my reserves would be depleted in battle long before his even reached half. It truly is a power worthy of a king."

Fulghor swung his limb... and his bow morphed into a device like a missile tube via blistering pace and might, unleashing even fiercer detonations.

"But you are not as powerful as my lord Nameless .. not even a quarter of his strength. That is why you cannot defeat me. Not even if I were to fight you using only half of my reserves."

Before... Fulghor had shared half his strength with Gehrman.

Even then, the leftover portion outstripped Vayne’s full aura pool.

"You talk too much, you primitive creature..."

Amid the blasts, Vayne rocketed into the void, speeding directly at Fulghor with alarming swiftness, glorious ebony wings sprouting from her shoulders.

"All you rely on is that ridiculous amount of aura you have .. but your attacks are too weak to pose any real threat to me!"

Vayne bridged the gap, unleashing a near-quarters barrage on Fulghor.

The demoness's limb dove into a swelling blob of dark energy that ballooned until it hid Fulghor from view—but he stayed utterly composed.

"Of course... attacks at this level cannot kill you. Their purpose was simply to make you believe that I possess no advantage other than the sheer quantity of my aura."

Fulghor’s eyes blazed with a dreadful light as the bow faded from his hold—summoned from nowhere a pair of golden spears.

"Thanks to that naivety of yours, you came to me yourself, closing the distance .. despite being a Wave Controller."

At that revelation, Vayne’s expression soured as she grasped her error... much too belatedly.

The bulging sinews in Fulghor’s arms expanded hideously, his frame expelling steam and searing mists from the immense blood rush pounding within.

Then, with erupting velocity and power, Fulghor thrust with his twin spears—utterly demolishing the limb Vayne had crafted.

He pressed on without mercy.

Fulghor kept up the onslaught, ripping into Vayne’s form and driving her to sheath herself in a shell of shadows for frantic protection.

But the Shadow Sect’s monster quickly crushed her barrier, slamming her hard toward the moon’s ground.
