THE VILLAIN'S POV Chapter 734: The King’s Eye vs The Hand of the Ruler (3)

Previously on THE VILLAIN'S POV...
Abraham begins to suspect that the recent chaos and Gehrman’s calculated absence were part of a deliberate plan, leading him to question who the true enemy is. Despite his growing doubts, he joins Gehrman in a desperate assault against Wesker, who reveals the absolute authority of his "perfect domain." Within this range, Wesker manipulates waves with such precision that invisible traps tear into the challengers the moment they approach. While Gehrman relies on high-stakes evasion to survive the onslaught, a heavily wounded Abraham continues to press forward, trading his own life force for the chance to land a blow.

"There is no reason to be concerned," he stated with a calm demeanor.

"I don't plan on dying in this place. My return has only just begun... after waiting for so long, I have finally reunited with my children."

Slash!

Bursting forth in waves, the star of the Starlight family continued its relentless advance.

"I still have so many things I want to discuss—

with Frey, and with Ada.

Those children have matured so much... and they did so while I was not there to see it."

"I have already lost far too much time that belonged to them.

I refuse to lose a single moment more."

Slash!

A blinding radiance erupted from Abraham’s form...

The sheer magnitude of the power he was releasing was so great that strands of his long black hair were bleached white by the force.

It was evident that he was straining himself far beyond his natural limits.

"No one shall perish today," Abraham proclaimed with a sharp, resolute glint in his gaze.

"This is not the day of our downfall."

Wesker’s features twisted into a dark scowl.

"It seems you’ve become prideful just because you managed to take down Zibar," he mocked.

"Human, do you honestly think every demon among the Ten Upper Ranks is of the same caliber?"

Wesker lifted his hand once more, exerting control over his perfect domain.

Under his influence, it appeared as though the heavens themselves were collapsing inward, seeking to consume Abraham entirely...

However, Gehrman intervened at the precise moment, dragging him out of the strike's trajectory.

Gehrman’s focus was entirely fixed on Wesker’s most lethal trait...

the specific power that established him as one of the Top Five Wave Controllers on the planet:

The Perfect Domain.

"Within that space, he is free to launch fatal strikes at will..." Gehrman calculated.

"In that territory, his advantage is absolute."

"However, I have finished mapping the perimeter of his domain."

Using a private voice transmission, Gehrman directed Abraham on their subsequent strategy.

"Wesker’s perfect domain can be projected within a twenty-meter radius in every direction.

We only need to maintain our distance and eliminate him using a synchronized long-range strike."

This was the strategy Gehrman proposed...

the only feasible path forward given his current state.

While Fulgor’s power was vast, Gehrman was aware that it wouldn't last much longer.

Ending the confrontation immediately was their only choice.

Abraham nodded in agreement, preparing to pour every ounce of his strength into the attack.

Across from them, Wesker took a defensive stance, his crimson eyes narrowing as he tracked their movements.

Internally, he was already mocking them.

So you believe my perfect domain is limited to twenty meters, and that you are safe attacking from the outside...

Is that what you've concluded, servant of Nameless?

The King’s Eye began to glow softly...

as Wesker set his snare in advance.

Gehrman and Abraham moved forward in unison, concentrating their full might, ready to discharge their most powerful techniques.

Wesker waited patiently.

"Yes... draw closer," he muttered under his breath.

"Come and try to kill me. The end is at hand!"

Both Gehrman and Abraham remained just outside the perceived edge of Wesker’s perfect domain...

and at the decisive second, they instinctively dropped their guard to focus on releasing their ultimate attacks.

As long as we maintain this distance from the domain, we will be safe...

That was the conviction they both held.

And that—

was exactly the opening Wesker required.

His smirk stretched into a truly gruesome grin.

"Then perish!"

Wesker bellowed as the very foundations of space began to vibrate.

Gehrman and Abraham were glowing with immense power, fully committed to their offensive—

leaving them unable to react when the strikes materialized from every angle simultaneously, zeroing in on them.

"I didn't expect a Saint like Gehrman to be so gullible!"

Wesker’s shout thundered through the sky.

"Did you actually think my domain was restricted to such a pathetic range?!"

With those words, Wesker unleashed his full might... a horrific strike that rent the sky asunder, crushing both Gehrman and Abraham in a single, ruinous blast.

Gehrman’s vessel was fragile, and Abraham lacked the durability to survive a hit of such magnitude.

Receiving that blow directly should have resulted in certain death for the pair.

"The true range of my domain is over a hundred meters, you idiots...

I only had to feign a smaller limit to bait you in...

and you walked right into the trap."

From the start, Wesker had utilized a basic but incredibly lethal trick.

Everything had been orchestrated to lure his foes into his domain with their defenses down.

Gehrman had tried to be careful.

Even after determining the field was twenty meters, he had stayed fifty meters away—just to be safe.

But Wesker had anticipated that caution.

That was why his actual domain was far more expansive.

Within that hundred-meter zone, Wesker’s word was law.

There was no way out.

Wesker let out a delighted laugh as he looked at his enemies, who appeared to have been torn apart and consumed by the sky itself.

This was supposed to be the conclusion.

Sufficient to claim his total victory.

And yet...

Wesker’s smile suddenly vanished.

Out of nowhere, a strange frost began to crawl over his skin, encasing him in ice at a terrifying rate.

"What...?!"

At that exact moment, from the epicenter where Gehrman and Abraham had supposedly been destroyed—

A brilliant light exploded.

From within that radiant shimmer, both Gehrman and Abraham stepped out, entirely unscathed.

That protective, overwhelming light had originated from Abraham...

it had shielded them both from the disaster.

"The fool this time is you, Wesker," Gehrman yelled before vanishing, only to reappear right in front of the Rank-Four Demon.

In the same heartbeat, frost surged over Wesker, locking him in place, while Gehrman’s left fist flared with a menacing blue fire.

"You underestimated me far too much.

I have existed much longer than you ever have...

and I have witnessed things your filthy eyes could never imagine."

From the beginning, Gehrman knew his foe was concealing his true strength.

That was why he had signaled Abraham to fake an offensive.

But instead...

Abraham had deployed his ultimate defensive maneuver.

"Abraham Starlight Style — Supreme Art: Dawn Barrier."

Abraham’s form began to drift slowly down from the sky, having barely survived the brunt of Wesker’s savage attack...

but he had successfully created the window Gehrman needed.

And Gehrman didn't waste it.

"Kill that cursed demon... once and for all," Abraham commanded with firm resolve.

Gehrman’s fist burned with a blue flame so hot that Wesker’s body froze solid just by being near it.

Then...

With a speed that defied the eye...

Gehrman struck with everything he had.

A massive explosion followed, wiping Wesker from existence and pulverizing his body without a trace of mercy.

The resulting shockwave leveled everything in its path, sparking a cataclysm that made the heavens tremble.

The strike was undeniably enough to end Wesker.

His demonic form was completely gone.

Everything...

Except for one object.

Floating alone in the frozen emptiness, emitting a faint glow...

The King’s Eye.
