Zhang Xian and his companions turned their heads, completely captivated by the breathtaking vista unfolding before them.

As dawn broke, the distant horizon began to glow with the first blush of morning light. This illumination gradually revealed the land's contours, steadily unveiling the scene's details.

Bathed in the soft morning glow, a formidable mountain emerged, its peak piercing the sky and cloaked in an emerald sea of foliage. Amidst swirling mists, the greenery was lush, countless flowers burst into vibrant bloom, and glimpses of an ancient palace appeared and disappeared.

"A palace rests upon the mountain," Zhu Qing exclaimed, pointing a finger towards the mist-shrouded structure, her voice brimming with anticipation. "Could this be another relic from antiquity?"

"It's so incredibly beautiful..." Fu Meiting sighed, her eyes curving into lovely crescents.

"Senior Sister!" Zhang Xian, currently enjoying a ride on Zi Yu's back, called out with a grin. "Let's venture closer and investigate."

"You expect me to carry you again?" Zi Yu inquired, a flicker of surprise in her tone.

Zhang Xian took a deep, appreciative breath of the delicate fragrance wafting from Zi Yu's presence and retorted with a chuckle, "Am I not rendered incapable of walking?"

Zi Yu rolled her eyes, choosing not to engage in further debate. Gripping him firmly by the backside, she swiftly began to sprint towards the distant mountain summit.

Witnessing this, Fu Meiting, Mo Shaoyun, and the other women immediately followed suit, their legs carrying them rapidly forward.

Each among them possessed formidable strength, being in the Innate Realm, their sprinting speeds were by no means sluggish.

"Huh..." Zhang Xian, feeling Zi Yu's hands clasping his posterior, paused for a moment before voicing his query. "Senior Sister, aren't you taking liberties? Grabbing my thighs would have sufficed; why the direct grasp of my buttocks?"

"You..." Zi Yu's hands shifted slightly lower as she retorted through gritted teeth, "Either fall silent or find your own way to walk. Must you incessantly chatter?"

Zhang Xian merely offered another chuckle, choosing to remain silent.

Their swift journey brought them to the imposing, ancient palace in mere moments.

"Could this possibly be another sect?" Zhang Xian, still resting on Zi Yu's back and holding onto her slender neck, asked with a tone of bewilderment.

They had already entered the palace grounds, and its architectural layout strongly resembled that of a sect, complete with a main hall, auxiliary chambers, a training ground, a library pavilion, and an alchemy tower, among other facilities.

However, the absence of any protective formations around the palace's perimeter was decidedly odd. How could such a substantial sect exist without any defensive measures?

Compared to the sect Zhang Xian had previously joined, the one before them was unequivocally grander. To draw a comparison, this current establishment stood as majestically as a colossal Buddhist temple, while the former paled in comparison, appearing no larger than a modest village shrine.

"It exudes such magnificence! Let's explore inside and discover what treasures lie within," Fu Meiting declared, taking the lead and rushing forward.

Zhang Xian no longer needed Zi Yu's assistance; he dismounted and followed the others.

Despite not detecting any active formations within the sect's grounds, he remained uncertain about potential hidden dangers. The cultivators of antiquity were simply too vastly powerful.

At his current stage, he was merely a novice among cultivators. Those formidable ancient beings could obliterate him with a mere flick of their fingers.

"What manner of place is this?" Zi Yu mused, lacking any understanding of cultivation, the ancient era, or the existence of numerous ancient martial arts sects.

Nevertheless, it was patently clear that none of the known ancient martial arts sects possessed a scale comparable to this palace complex. If such a vast ancient martial arts sect truly existed, asserting dominance over the entire martial arts world would likely be a simple matter.

"Brother Zhang Xian, look, there are inscriptions above," Dong Qian suddenly exclaimed, pointing towards a colossal palace structure ahead. "However, the characters appear peculiar. They don't resemble ancient script, and I'm unsure of their origin or when they were inscribed."

"Feather Immortal Gate?" Zhang Xian looked up, murmuring to himself.

Having inherited ancient knowledge, deciphering archaic characters was not overly taxing for him, akin to reading modern script.

The ancient heritage he had previously received was more of an instantaneous mental transmission, directly implanting the information into his mind.

"Do you recognize those glyphs?" Mo Shaoyun inquired.

Recalling Zhang Xian's unique abilities, she added with understanding, "Ah, you did indeed receive an ancient inheritance; it's not surprising you can read these characters."

"What is an ancient inheritance?" Zi Yu asked, her expression laced with pure confusion.

Dong Qian smiled and explained, "It pertains to the civilization of ancient times, the methods of cultivation practiced then! In truth, neither we nor Brother Zhang Xian are ancient martial artists! Furthermore, our current capabilities far surpass those of ancient martial artists."

Zi Yu's eyes widened in astonishment. "What? You aren't ancient martial artists? What do you mean by cultivators?"

"We follow the path of ancient civilization, what is called cultivation in modern times," Zhang Xian elucidated. "In truth, I possessed such strength even in my twenties. It has no bearing on innate talent. The way I tread is entirely distinct from you warriors of the present era. The cultivation civilization of antiquity far eclipses our current martial arts."

"Your practice is completely different from ours? How is that even possible?" Zi Yu questioned, laced with bewilderment. "I've never encountered any practices beyond ancient martial arts. Even those Western methods pale in comparison to our own."

"Naturally," Zhang Xian replied with a smile. "Within the scope of ancient martial arts, I am already a grandmaster. Beyond grandmaster lies only the Legendary Realm. But in the world of cultivation, do you know my true strength?"

Zi Yu inquired, her curiosity piqued. "What level? Is it exceedingly potent?"

"Err..." Zhang Xian offered a strained smile. "I haven't even truly stepped through the gateway to power. How formidable could I possibly be? At the zenith of cultivation, the strength attained is beyond your wildest imaginings."

"N-No way?" Zi Yu’s astonishment reached its peak. "Is the civilization of ancient times truly that formidable?"

"Mmm, it is indeed most impressive," Dong Qian and Zhu Qing concurred, nodding in agreement. When they first learned of these matters, their reactions mirrored Zi Yu’s. Had Zhang Xian’s abilities not been demonstrably extraordinary, they might not have accepted his claims; the entire concept seemed too surreal.

"Let us proceed inside for a look first," Zhang Xian suggested. "Later, upon our return, I shall impart the methods of practice to you. Cease treading the path of ancient martial arts. With your current foundation, reaching the Seventh Tier of Celestial Body Refinement Realm should be achievable."

"Seventh Tier Celestial Body Refinement Realm?" Zi Yu queried, her brow furrowed. "What stage is that?"

Zhang Xian proceeded to explain, "Body refinement lays the groundwork for subsequent cultivation and marks the nascent stage for cultivators. Upon transcending this stage, a spiritual vortex, also known as the Spiritual Origin Realm, will manifest within you. This realm allows your body to store Spiritual Origin, which far surpasses mere Spiritual Energy. This is when one can truly be considered to have entered the hallowed halls of cultivation."

"How does one fare in the Spiritual Origin Realm?" probed Zi Yu.

Fu Tianlin shook his head. "I have not yet attained that realm, so I cannot say for certain. However, it must undoubtedly be more potent than the Legendary Realm."

"That impressive?" After a brief contemplative pause, Zi Yu inquired further, "After the Spiritual Origin Realm, how many more realms remain?"

"There are numerous..." Zhang Xian chuckled. "Sister, let us enter first. We can discuss cultivation in greater detail upon our return. Our time is rather limited at present." Zi Yu nodded, refraining from further questions.

"What is that yonder?" Before long, Zhang Xian and the others arrived at the rear mountain of the sect.

Before them lay an expansive clearing where nine colossal stone pillars stood, far too immense for a single person to encircle. Their surfaces were adorned with incredibly intricate symbols, rendering them profoundly difficult to decipher.

At the heart of these stone pillars rested a circular pedestal, approximately one meter in height, also etched with peculiar symbols.

"What peculiar stone pillars," Fu Meiting remarked, after closely examining them. "Zhang Xian, do you recognize these bizarre markings?"

"These are not textual characters, but rather a form of symbolic inscription," Zhang Xian responded. After circling the stone pedestal, he suddenly froze. After a considerable silence, he exclaimed in astonishment, "Could this possibly be a teleportation array left behind from antiquity?"

"Teleportation array?" The women turned to Zhang Xian, surprise evident on their faces. The term itself sounded rather arcane. Could it be a device capable of instantly transporting individuals from one location to another?

"It appears to be so," Zhang Xian stated, his expression grave. On their journey to this place, he had noted that this sect, much like the one they had previously visited, was abandoned and desolate. Despite extensive searching, they had found nothing of significance. Now, with the emergence of a teleportation array, he began to suspect that the formidable figures of ancient times might have departed from this very spot.

However, the question of how to activate this teleportation array loomed large. While he possessed some knowledge of formations, teleportation arrays were uniquely specialized, each requiring a distinct method of activation. With his current understanding, deciphering such a complex array was beyond his capabilities. It was crucial to remember that the great powers of ancient times no longer resided within this space and time. Could a teleportation array capable of traversing both space and time truly be a mere, commonplace formation?

"Did the ancient cultivators truly depart from Earth for a different dimension?" Zhang Xian suddenly found himself questioning.

The inheritances from ancient times detailed cultivation methods and related knowledge but offered no accounts of their experiences or final outcomes. While a subtle intuition suggested that the ancient cultivators had departed rather than perished, based on hints within the old legacies, he remained uncertain until he witnessed the teleportation array.

Is there another unknown realm beyond the universe? What sights await in that extraterrestrial space?

"Hey, what are you staring at?"

Noticing Zhang Xian deep in contemplation, Fu Meiting couldn't resist giving him a gentle nudge.

"Let's explore other areas," Zhang Xian regained his focus, flashed a smile, and stated, "We've wandered extensively with no significant findings. We must continue our search."

"Aren't we going to investigate this teleportation array?" Mo Shaoyun inquired, her brow furrowed.

Zhang Xian's abrupt introspection and his shifting expression unsettled her, making her suspect the teleportation array was more than it seemed. His subsequent silence only amplified her suspicions.

"Leave it be for now."

Zhang Xian shook his head and began to walk away.

"Hey..."

Witnessing this, Zhu Qing and Dong Qian swiftly trailed after him.

"Teleportation array?"

Zi Yu cast another glance at the teleportation array, a momentary frown creasing her features, before turning to follow. She had observed Zhang Xian's unusual demeanor moments ago but, sensing his reluctance to share, decided not to press the matter.

"Zhang Xian..."

Mo Shaoyun moved swiftly to his side, walking in tandem with him. "Are you concealing something from us?"

"No!"

Zhang Xian chuckled, "What could I possibly hide from you all? Pray tell, why would I keep anything from you?"

"I don't believe you," Mo Shaoyun countered. "You were perfectly fine just moments ago, and then you suddenly decided to leave. Is it because something happened? Or perhaps you've learned something you cannot disclose to us?"
