The Supreme Martial King Shocking All Realms Chapter 3322 - 3317: Seeing Fu Xuanbing Again_1

Previously on The Supreme Martial King Shocking All Realms...
The Netherworld stronghold lay in ruins after its swift destruction, with Yang Chen and his companions slipping away unnoticed. Half a day later, Heaven-separated Realm Ghost Kings arrived, suspecting Ice and Fire Sky Phoenixes and wary of Earth Spirit Hall's Fu Xuanbing, but they uncovered no clues and departed. Yang Chen followed Ming Hu to the hidden underground stronghold of the Ice and Fire Sky Phoenix clan, concealed by an ancestral formation that had ensured their survival against Netherworld pursuits. Upon arrival, the clan rejoiced at Ming Hu and Ling Fei's safe return, introducing Yang Chen as an Earth Spirit Hall ally and revealing the presence of two other groups from the hall already within, bolstering their forces amid the escalating tensions on Ice and Fire Star.

Yet, upon further reflection, certain inquiries are best made during the journey itself.

With this thought, Yang Chen wasted no more time and, feeling at ease with Ming Hu by now, posed his question outright: "Fellow Daoist Ming Hu, might I trouble you with a few questions regarding your esteemed clan?"

Unsure of Yang Chen's intent, Ming Hu replied with a puzzled tone, "What is it that Brother Yang Chen wishes to know?"

"I realize this might seem impolite, but I must ask anyway. Could you tell me about the location of a fellow Daoist named Bao Lu from your honorable family?" Yang Chen inquired.

The mention of Bao Lu caused Ming Hu's slender frame to quiver faintly.

Yang Chen had noticed this reaction closely, and it was clear to him that Ming Hu held some knowledge concerning Bao Lu.

Rather than responding directly, Ming Hu countered, "Does Brother Yang Chen know Bao Lu personally?"

"Indeed, I know Miss Bao Lu well. Our connection stems from shared hardships in the past," Yang Chen explained.

At these words, Ming Hu fell into profound contemplation.

Noticing her silence, Yang Chen pressed, "Is something wrong, Fellow Daoist Ming Hu? Is there a hidden reason you can't share?"

He sensed more and more that Bao Lu's situation was wrapped in enigma.

He'd first tried Heng Ye, but learned nothing. Now with Ming Hu, the outcome was no different. This left a knot of worry in his chest.

That was precisely why he'd spoken up swiftly earlier, to cut off any chance of Ming Hu evading the topic.

Still, some truths can't be dodged forever. After a brief pause in thought, Ming Hu regained her composure and smiled lightly, "Regarding other topics Brother Yang Chen might raise,

I could offer some insights. But on Bao Lu, I'm completely in the dark. I've been confined for ages, so I have no clue about her location or her secretive ways."

Yang Chen let out a sigh, realizing the truth wouldn't come easily. Yet, her response revealed a few key details.

Barring any surprises, Bao Lu probably belonged to the Ice-fire Phoenix Royal Bloodline. Why else would Ming Hu refer to her as "Sir"?

As their discussion continued, the group ventured deeper into the underground realm.

En route, they encountered numerous members of the Ice-fire Phoenix Clan.

Sky Phoenixes abounded, though their cultivation bases remained modest. Even among these Sky Phoenixes, appearances varied widely. Ming Hu explained that many possessed diluted bloodlines, unable to wield the full Ice and Fire Divine Power of the Ice-fire Sky Phoenix. They managed only one element, either ice or fire.

Others lacked even that ability to channel ice or fire. These bottom-tier Ice-fire Phoenix Clan members held the least regard within their society.

The purer the Ice-fire Phoenix bloodline, the more legitimate it was deemed, and the greater the mastery over both ice and fire divine powers.

During their exchange, a handful of leading Sky Phoenixes halted in front.

"Esteemed seniors and Sir, welcome to the White Flag Palace. Here, the mightiest of our clan have assembled," announced several Nirvana Stage Sky Phoenixes with deep respect.

Ming Hu responded, "You've labored much. You may withdraw now!"

The Sky Phoenix clansmen departed without delay, showing no inclination to linger.

Ming Hu promptly guided the group inside the White Flag Palace. No sooner had they stepped in than multiple gazes turned their way.

"Look, it's Ming Hu and Ling Fei!"

"Haha, Ming Hu and Ling Fei got freed after all. Was it Xuan Feng's doing?"

"Hahaha, wonderful news!"

The cluster of Sky Phoenixes burst into delight at the sight of Ming Hu and Ling Fei.

As for Yang Chen, he stepped into the hall and scanned his surroundings. Soon enough, several recognizable presences registered in his divine sense.

Yang Chen gave a subtle shake of his head, aware that events had unfolded as anticipated. And so they had.

Just as expected, Fu Xuanbing, Heng Ye, and Hu Kui were present. This so-called second wave from the Earth Spirit Hall consisted of none other than Fu Xuanbing's group.

Yang Chen's eyes met Fu Xuanbing's as the latter spotted him too.

In that exchanged glance, Fu Xuanbing radiated chill and let out a mocking snort.

Meanwhile, the formidable Sky Phoenixes wrapped up their greetings and, with a grin, presented Yue Xingzhenren's followers: "Ming Hu, Ling Fei, it's a relief you both returned safely. This bolsters our clan's fighting strength. Now, allow me to acquaint you with these individuals. They're the elite warriors serving Daoist Friend Yue Xingzhenren, figures you're surely familiar with."

"Of course, we know them well. The elites under Daoist Friend Yue Xingzhenren are all celebrated powerhouses," Ming Hu and Ling Fei replied smilingly.

Flattered by the praise, Yue Xingzhenren's elites rose promptly, clasping hands in salute.

Next, the Sky Phoenix powerhouses turned to Fu Xuanbing, their demeanor shifting once more. The deference they extended to him surpassed even that given to Yue Xingzhenren's group earlier, underscoring their high regard for him.

"Now, as for this individual, Ming Hu, you may not have encountered his name before. But once I describe him, you'll grasp his formidable stature. This fellow Daoist's title is Fu Xuanbing, a top merit earner in the Earth Spirit Hall. His cultivation teeters at the pinnacle of the Heaven-separated Realm, marking him as exceptional. Above all, he's featured on the Blue Arrest Warrant, one of the prime fugitives sought by the Netherworld," declared one of the Sky Phoenixes.

"A Blue Arrest Warrant!" Ming Hu gasped in shock.

As the introduction concluded, Fu Xuanbing stroked his chin, lips curling upward in smug satisfaction. After all, few from the Netherworld shared his spot on the Blue Arrest Warrant.

"Fellow Daoist Fu earned a place on the Blue Arrest Warrant before reaching the Heaven-separated Realm's peak, a testament to your remarkable prowess. We trust you'll lend your support to our clan's endeavors going forward," Ming Hu stated.

Fu Xuanbing responded coolly, "Count on it!"

Yang Chen, hearing of the Blue Arrest Warrant, felt a surge of surprise. He was utterly unfamiliar with such a thing.

Nor did he grasp whether blue outranked red in severity, and though curious, he struggled to find an opening to inquire.

Xuan Feng and his allies likely remained ignorant of his own Red Arrest Warrant as well. During their prior clash, they hadn't caught the exchange, which made sense.

Ming Hu engaged Fu Xuanbing in a warm and engaging dialogue.

Only when the Sky Phoenix powerhouses' eyes fell on Yang Chen did one inquire, "By the way, Fellow Daoist Ming Hu, who might this companion be?"

"Oh, I nearly overlooked the introduction. This is Fellow Daoist Yang Chen. In truth, my recent rescue owes much to Brother Yang Chen. His power stands out remarkably. Fellow Daoist Fu, and all of you from the Earth Spirit Hall, you must recognize him well," Ming Hu chuckled.

Yue Xingzhenren's followers, unfamiliar with Yang Chen, offered no comment. Yet Fu Xuanbing's subordinates held their tongues, mindful of the rift between their leader and Yang Chen.

The air grew tense in the silence. Moments later, Fu Xuanbing broke it with a derisive sneer.
