He scanned his surroundings thoroughly but saw nothing out of the ordinary. Even so, Yang Chen’s expression turned grim. He abruptly veered away from his planned course, deciding to take a long detour instead of continuing on the original path.

His instincts proved correct, though his reaction was a moment too late.

"Yang Chen, you’re really sharp. You actually noticed our ambush!" A voice suddenly resonated directly in his ears.

In an instant, Han Yi and three other Elders materialized from different directions, entering Yang Chen's line of sight. His path was now completely obstructed.

Yang Chen narrowed his eyes, casting a frigid gaze at the four figures encircling him. "Four Heavenly Fate Realm experts... the Grand Abyss Palace really values ​​me," Yang Chen remarked, his hands clasped calmly behind his back.
