Chen Feng received a wristband that digitized his stats and revealed his genetic abilities, including Wind Blade and a special Luck Aura. He discovered the body he now inhabited belonged to an orphan named Chen Feng, who was killed to prevent him from entering a prestigious university. He also realized he was currently inside the digestive system of the mutated blacksea shark that killed the original owner.

Shark Gulf, Gold City.

A refreshing sea breeze wafted through, filling the air with its invigorating scent.

Five robust men were flexing their fists and preparing themselves, their hands gripping gleaming, sharp weapons that caught the sunlight in dazzling flashes.

"Is everyone prepared?"

A middle-aged man, Mo Lei, approached them with a grave expression.

"Rest assured, Boss Mo," the men replied with confident grins.

"Be serious," Mo Lei admonished, his gaze stern. "The mutated blacksea shark we're hunting is the king of these waters, possessing formidable strength. Those weapons you hold can’t even scratch its hide. You must rely on your genetic abilities to defeat it."

"It’s that powerful?" the men exchanged glances, their earlier confidence wavering.

"Why else would I have assembled all of you?" Mo Lei sighed. "Frankly, a gene squad attempted this hunt before, and none survived. I wouldn't be here myself if not for the old man's critical condition and his need for the mutated blacksea shark's liver as medicine."

"We understand."

The burly men's expressions turned exceptionally serious.

"Good," Mo Lei relaxed slightly. "Be vigilant. If we find ourselves outmatched, we retreat immediately."

"Let’s hope…"

"…everything goes smoothly this time." Mo Lei carefully applied a few drops of Sharksoul Aroma. "Mutated blacksea sharks can't resist this alluring scent. It should arrive soon. Prepare yourselves for the hunt!"

"Understood!"

A tense silence fell over the group as they fixated on the calm sea surface, their eyes alight with anticipation.

"Hua—"

The water rippled, and a dark blue flash emerged from beneath the waves.

"It's here!" Mo Lei exclaimed, his attention sharpening. "Move out."

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh! Whoosh!"

A barrage of sharp weapons struck the mutated beast, but the blows ricocheted harmlessly off its thick hide, leaving not even a scratch.

"Let me handle this!" A burly man clenched his right fist, a strange purple-black pattern snaking up his arm. A palpable power gathered around his fist.

Empowered by his genetic ability, he unleashed the full force of his 60 points of strength. "Qilin Fist!"

Leaping into the air, he slammed his fist down onto the mutated blacksea shark. "Bang!"

An explosive force erupted, creating five-meter-high waves that crashed outwards.

"Howl!"

The mutated blacksea shark roared in pain.

"Hum—"

A disorienting vibration emanated from the beast.

"Pu!"

The burly man, still airborne, spat out blood. "This is bad. A spirit attack! This mutated shark has reached that level!" Mo Lei's face contorted in alarm. "Quick, pull Number 3 back! Abandon the hunt!"

"Understood."

Light wings unfurled from another man's back, and he became a blur, swiftly retrieving the disoriented Number 3.

"Damn it," Mo Lei growled, clenching his fists as he glared at the formidable creature. The hunt had failed before it truly began; the moment the spirit attack manifested, he knew they were outmatched.

"Boss Mo," the remaining men said, their faces etched with shame.

"It's not your fault," Mo Lei's voice was heavy with disappointment. "This mutated blacksea shark has evolved beyond the capabilities of ordinary hunters. Only true experts could prevail…"

At that very moment, a piercing scream echoed through the air.

"Howl—"

"What was that?!" Mo Lei and his men snapped their heads toward the sea, witnessing an unbelievable sight.

The mutated blacksea shark, moments before so arrogant, thrashed wildly on the surface, writhing in agony and sending colossal waves crashing around.

"What’s happening?" Mo Lei and the others stared in stunned disbelief.

Then, an even more astonishing event unfolded. Multiple crimson gashes suddenly appeared across the mutated shark's body. Its impenetrable skin, which had repelled all their previous attacks, was now being torn apart before their very eyes.

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

Blood stained the seawater crimson as the already terrifying waves grew even more immense.

Suddenly, a brilliant azure light blade erupted from the mutated black sea shark's body, startling everyone. Before they could even react, more and more of these luminous blades pierced through the shark's form. Under the bright sun, each one shimmered dazzlingly.

What in the world was this?

A sense of bewildered awe washed over all who witnessed this astonishing spectacle.

Then, with a resounding 'Bang!',

Another colossal sound boomed from the ocean's surface. Following a violent, explosive roar, a robust and healthy silhouette burst forth from the mutated black sea shark. The figure landed steadily on the shores of Shark Gulf.

Blood sprayed outward from behind him.

The monstrous mutated black sea shark thrashed once more before falling still, its roars silenced.

Mo Lei and his companions found their mouths dry, staring in disbelief at the apparition before them. The formidable genetic warrior who had vanquished the mutated black sea shark in mere moments was, in fact, a remarkably young and seemingly tender-faced youth.

"Finally out!"

Chen Feng exclaimed with joy.

The glorious sunshine. The refreshing, crisp air.

Hahaha!

He had emerged alive. He examined himself; the 10 points of luck value were completely depleted. The genetic ability, once scorned as trash by all, unleashed devastating attacks when combined with Luck Aura and Wind Blade. An unending torrent of Wind Blades erupted, annihilating everything in its path!

Under the influence of Luck Aura, 10 Wind Blades were unleashed every second, consuming one point of luck value per second. Theoretically, with an ample luck value, he could generate limitless Wind Blades indefinitely.

However, the attack power was truly feeble.

So...

Time to return?

Chen Feng stretched his muscles and joints before glancing at the several individuals fixated on him. "Something you need?"

"N-nothing."

Mo Lei stammered, his voice catching.

An expert!

A true master!

To wield such terrifying power at such a young age, it couldn't possibly be solely due to natural talent. There had to be a formidable force backing this prodigy.

"No, there is something." Mo Lei hesitantly continued, "Esteemed senior, might I purchase the liver of this mutated black sea shark?"

"Mutated black sea shark?"

Chen Feng's gaze swept over the water's surface, and he was momentarily taken aback. "You can have the entire shark."

"Thank you!" Mo Lei declared, his voice thick with emotion.

'This is wonderful. Father can finally be saved!'

Mo Lei tapped the screen on his wristband, instantly transferring 50,000 yuan to Chen Feng.

Based on Chen Feng's understanding of this world's currency, the price was exceptionally generous. Securing such earnings so soon after his transmigration was an unbelievable stroke of fortune. Naturally, Chen Feng would have preferred to avoid being swallowed by the mutated black sea shark again if given the choice; the experience was far too perilous!

"Many thanks, senior."

Mo Lei reiterated his gratitude profusely.

Chen Feng offered a faint smile before departing.

"Incredibly fortunate."

Mo Lei was ecstatic. "To have chanced upon an expert capable of defeating the mutated black sea shark, and one who also disregarded such a paltry sum. Otherwise..."

"Are all students nowadays this powerful?"

The burly fellow who had previously fainted stirred, speaking with a trace of bitterness.

"This is the advantage of attending school,"

Mo Lei mused with a sigh. "From high school onwards, students can commence their studies in genetic courses. With the multitude of resources and support provided by the schools, even a novice student's cultivation speed would surpass ours by severalfold. Their current pace, even while focusing solely on foundational knowledge in high school, is astounding. This is precisely why the university entrance examinations merely assess the fundamentals! Once they pass and enter university, their cultivation speed will skyrocket far beyond anything we could achieve!"

"In the future, my son will definitely attend school!" the burly guy vowed resolutely.

"That is only natural."

Mo Lei nodded in agreement. "However, an ordinary student wouldn't possess such strength, regardless of how solid their foundation is. This young man must be an elite, top-tier student!"

The group collectively marveled.

Yet, they remained unaware that this 'top student' they spoke of had just recently failed his university entrance examinations.
