The Strongest Dandy in the City Chapter 2315 - 2304: Complete Recovery
Previously on The Strongest Dandy in the City...
Ye Chenfeng plunged into the natural pond, an intense burning sensation immediately engulfing his entire being.
Fortunately, the Green Flame that enveloped him came to his aid. Although the temperature of the Green Flame was only at the Initial Stage of the Heavenly God Realm, it shared a similar nature to this purplish-red flame.
The repulsion between flames was significantly reduced, allowing the Green Flame to offer cover. While the heat remained unbearable, it was at least within Ye Chenfeng's tolerance.
Enveloped by the Green Flame, Ye Chenfeng swam downwards, descending dozens of meters in a short span.
As he ventured deeper, the temperature of the purplish-red boiling flames intensified.
The purplish-red flames at this depth could also be absorbed and fused by the Green Flame. However, the Green Flame was currently occupied with safeguarding Ye Chenfeng, leaving it no surplus energy to fuse with or absorb the purplish-red boiling flame liquid.
Bao Xiangtian, who had also jumped in, activated the Spiritual Qi River within his meridians upon contact with the purplish-red flame liquid. This formed a protective layer of spiritual energy around him as he rapidly pursued Ye Chenfeng.
Yet, with each meter of descent, the temperature surged, progressively slowing Bao Xiangtian's advance. His movements were hindered to some extent by the purplish-red boiling flame liquid.
With the Green Flame’s assistance, Ye Chenfeng's speed through the purplish-red boiling flame liquid was nearly comparable to Bao Xiangtian's.
A chase ensued between the two.
They soon plunged over two hundred meters deep.
The escalating surrounding temperature relentlessly melted the spiritual energy protection around Bao Xiangtian, contorting his expression into a grimace as he bellowed, "You brat, stop right there!"
Meanwhile, Ye Chenfeng, shielded by the Green Flame, was already more than a dozen meters deeper than Bao Xiangtian. His own situation was precarious; despite the Green Flame's protection, the purplish-red boiling flame liquid's temperature here vastly surpassed the Green Flame's. Even with minimal flame repulsion, Ye Chenfeng struggled to endure, unable to circulate even a wisp of spiritual energy within his body.
Had Ye Chenfeng's meridians not been ruptured and his strength remained at the Initial Stage of the Divine King Realm, his power combined with the Green Flame's protection would have allowed him to withstand such temperatures with far less difficulty.
Ye Chenfeng, cocooned in the Green Flame, bore varying degrees of burns on his skin, which had turned an alarming red, akin to a cooked prawn. His lips were severely dry and cracked, with traces of blood seeping from the fissures.
Upon hearing Bao Xiangtian's furious roar, Ye Chenfeng made no move to respond. Confronting Bao Xiangtian directly in his current state was impossible; he was outmatched. Gritting his teeth, he pressed onward, descending further.
Bao Xiangtian, lacking the defense of a Heaven and Earth Flame, had reached his absolute limit in pursuit. To venture any deeper risked mortal peril.
Witnessing Ye Chenfeng, enveloped in the Green Flame, descend further than he could, Bao Xiangtian's fixation on the Green Flame intensified. He shouted in exasperation, "Boy, unless you plan to hide in there forever, I'll be waiting for you outside!"
Having spoken his piece.
With his spiritual energy protection continuously degrading, Bao Xiangtian retreated upwards, unwilling to linger any longer in the purplish-red boiling flame liquid.
Sensing Bao Xiangtian was no longer pursuing, Ye Chenfeng also ceased his descent. The Green Flame, while shielding him, was incapable of absorbing or fusing with the intense heat energy present.
Ye Chenfeng understood that the only way to resolve his current predicament was to mend his meridians.
Still wrapped in the Green Flame, he closed his eyes, focusing on restructuring and organizing his body's meridians.
Many of his meridians were intricately knotted and disorganized. To untangle and reorganize them, he first needed to break apart these knotted pathways before meticulously sorting them.
There was no room for delay. With his eyes shut, Ye Chenfeng proceeded to shatter all of his knotted meridians.
The excruciating agony from self-inflicted meridian shattering caused Ye Chenfeng's eyebrows to knit tightly in immediate response.
However, as he worked to sort out his meridians, not a second could be spared. Ye Chenfeng barely registered the severe pain. After shattering the obstructed meridians, he began reconstructing his body's meridians one by one.
Once all the meridians were organized, the subsequent task was their healing.
He could now utilize the Healing Pills from his Chaos Ring. Regrettably, only items could be retrieved from the Chaos Ring in this location; nothing could be stored. Had storage been possible, Ye Chenfeng would not be enduring this torment.
Several Healing Pills from the Chaos Ring were consumed by him in quick succession. However, due to the unique nature of his meridians, merely taking Healing Pills would not be sufficient to instantly mend all the ruptured pathways.
Ye Chenfeng’s estimation was that it would take approximately one full day for his body’s meridians to be completely repaired under the influence of the potent elixirs.
A day might seem like a short period of time.
Yet, for Ye Chenfeng, submerged within this swirling, purplish-red inferno of boiling flame liquid, each moment of that day felt like an eternity.
Finally, after a day had elapsed.
Ye Chenfeng found that the meridians throughout his entire body had been fully restored. As he keenly sensed the recovered pathways, he gently channeled the Spiritual Qi River through them, discovering that the reorganized meridians were now even more robust and resilient than they had been previously.
Since Ye Chenfeng did not excessively amplify his spiritual energy output, his presence did not extend further upwards.
Once his strength had been reinstated to the Initial Stage of the Divine King Realm.
Ye Chenfeng then began to ascend. He no longer required the protective embrace of the Green Flame, allowing it to remain behind to continue absorbing the Fire Attribute energy present within the purplish-red flame liquid.
Meanwhile, Bao Xiangtian, who was impatiently awaiting him beside the naturally occurring pool, understood that this was the territory of the Flame Demon Fish. Lingering here any longer was clearly not advisable. His eyes were intensely focused on the churning, purplish-red boiling flame liquid within the pool.
Abruptly, he observed a distinct shadow gradually surfacing from within. A smug smile spread across his face, confident that Ye Chenfeng, trapped below, could no longer endure. He unleashed the full extent of his Heavenly God Realm Peak aura, utterly determined to prevent Ye Chenfeng from escaping him yet again.
As he watched Ye Chenfeng about to break the surface of the purplish-red boiling flame liquid, Bao Xiangtian taunted him with a cold sneer, "Boy, in the end, you still have to come up obediently, don't you? Are you not going to fall right into my grasp? If only you had listened to me earlier, I could have ended your life swiftly. But you were so unwilling to cooperate! Now, I must make you taste true agony before I finally send you on your way."
