Hua Fanjiang and Jin Nanhuo tracked Ye Chenfeng's aura and advanced toward him at daybreak, puzzled by his survival. Ye Chenfeng placed a Blue Crystal Stone into the Ghost Ship's pool, partially activating it and erecting a black barrier as the enemies approached with threats. Provoked, he unleashed the ship, which rammed and shattered Hua Fanjiang into a blood mist absorbed by the vessel, leaving Jin Nanhuo stunned while the crystal's energy rapidly depleted.

Jin Nanhuo froze for an instant, snapping back to reality in utter horror and panic.

Realizing the massive black Spirit Boat looming before him was barreling straight toward him, he knew his power paled in comparison to Hua Fanjiang’s. Stuck at the Initial Stage of the Divine King Realm, and with even Hua Fanjiang blasted into blood mist by this black Spirit Boat, how could he possibly endure its devastating crash?

Jin Nanhuo now regretted his decision so bitterly his guts twisted green. Had he foreseen this, he never would have stepped foot here. Sure, Jin Zhiteng was the Jins' premier genius, but to him, nothing mattered more than his own survival.

With the Jins already down one elder, Jin Shouyan, Jin Nanhuo's death would slash their clout in the Central Continent dramatically. Even wiping out the branches in Profound Continent and Spirit Continent meant little to him—those combined couldn't match a single Divine King Realm expert in his clan. Counting himself, the Jins boasted just three such powerhouses.

Stirring this muddy waters was a grave mistake the Jins never should have made—it was pure self-invited disaster. Inwardly, he damned the Xiao Yao Palace folks and other factions. How could they claim Ye Chenfeng was merely at the Peak of the sixth layer of the Divinity Transformation Realm? Clearly, the kid wielded Heavenly God Realm might. How many aces did this young Heavenly God Realm expert hide up his sleeve? Luo Qianjiang and his ilk were utterly clueless.

The crushing pressure from the Ghost Ship hastened Jin Nanhuo’s breaths. He bellowed at once, "Ye Chenfeng, show mercy! If you let me live, the Jin family pulls out of this mess, and we'll stay out of each other's way forever."

Steering the Ghost Ship, Ye Chenfeng showed no signs of halting. He scoffed coldly, "Weren’t you strutting like a tyrant moments ago, itching to slay me? Think I’d let you off? Spouting such nonsense at your age? Sparing foes dooms yourself. Since you two arrived as a pair, head to the Road to Netherworld together."

The pitch-black Ghost Ship hurtled wildly toward Jin Nanhuo. With his plea falling flat, Jin Nanhuo refused to clash head-on. His aura erupted to its peak as he bolted into the tunnel, fleeing for dear life.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Deafening explosions rang out in sequence.

The colossal Ghost Ship slammed straight into the cave tunnel, crumbling the nearby stone walls wherever it rampaged.

Ye Chenfeng pushed the Ghost Ship to top speed, sensing the Blue Crystal Stone's energy in the cabin nearing depletion. The fierce battering caused untouched tunnel walls to crumble too, hampering Jin Nanhuo’s escape pace a bit.

Thanks to that, right as the Ghost Ship’s energy dwindled to nothing, a resounding "bang" and grotesque "squelch" echoed—Jin Nanhuo got smashed brutally by the Ghost Ship, his form exploding into blood mist mid-air, ultimately devoured by the Nether Iron coating its hull.

Once Jin Nanhuo perished from the strike, the Ghost Ship screeched to a stop, its enveloping black barrier vanishing. Ye Chenfeng noted the Blue Crystal Stone in the cabin pool had gone fully clear, its power utterly drained.

A soft sigh escaped Ye Chenfeng’s lips, filled with regret over the wasted energy. He also mourned that Hua Fanjiang and Jin Nanhuo left no bones behind. Not that he grew merciful; it just stung. Had his "Absorb All Rivers" drained their essence, his cultivation might have surged ahead.

Ye Chenfeng hadn’t mastered the impact’s force earlier. Weren’t Hua Fanjiang and Jin Nanhuo tougher than that, bursting so readily? Even in death, they owed him some boon!

Still, Ye Chenfeng kept these thoughts to himself. In that dire moment, failing to swiftly eliminate Hua Fanjiang and Jin Nanhuo would have spelled his own doom.

Having beheld the Ghost Ship’s horrifying might, Ye Chenfeng grew even fonder of this Spirit Boat. Yet his biggest headache now was sourcing fresh fuel for it. Where on earth could he procure more?

The instant Hua Fanjiang and Jin Nanhuo fell one after another.

Spirit Artifact City.

Within the Heavenly Sword Sect’s temporary manor hall.

Luo Qianjiang, Luo Youfang, Jin Yangcai, and Hua Liukong gathered, their faces twisted in grim fury—especially Jin Yangcai and Hua Liukong. Moments earlier, the Lifebound Tokens of their elders Jin Nanhuo and Hua Fanjiang had shattered in rapid succession, signaling their demise.

Consider that Hua Fanjiang at Mid Divine King Realm and Jin Nanhuo at Initial Divine King Realm could flee even from a late Divine King Realm foe. Yet both perished? What monstrous adversary had they faced?

Luo Qianjiang of Xiao Yao Palace secretly rejoiced at skipping the small secret realm trip—else he’d be reporting to Yama’s Palace too. But heavier doubts plagued him. How exactly did Hua Fanjiang and Jin Nanhuo meet their ends? Did Ye Chenfeng command multiple Divine King Realm allies? Queries swirled endlessly in his head.

Luo Qianjiang’s urgency intensified sharply. At this rate, even forging an Alliance wouldn’t save them from gradual erosion. Delay was no option.

Luo Qianjiang knit his brows and declared, "The passing of Brother Jin and Brother Hua grieves me deeply, but that punk Ye Chenfeng’s surely behind it. Our move now: hasten the Alliance’s formation. We strike the Ancient City of Heavenly Origin at the soonest. Sect elders arrive in days, then we march as one."

"With our Divine King Realm forces united, how could we fail against Ye Chenfeng? He’s mere Lower Plane trash; we’ve just missed their full strength. Strong foes showing at the small secret realm means fewer guards the Heavenly Origin Ancient City. A golden chance we can’t squander."

Jin Yangcai, face shadowed and stormy, harbored deep remorse. Losing two Divine King Realm elders in a row crippled the Jins terribly. Elders formed any power’s foundation; shedding two such pillars left scars no victory over Ye Chenfeng could heal.

Yet in this bind, Jin Yangcai couldn’t back down. Retreat was impossible now. Ye Chenfeng had to perish, or else the Jins’ two elders and prime genius died for naught?

Jin Yangcai clenched his teeth and growled, "I back Senior Luo’s plan—we speed up the gathering. Best to assault the Ancient City of Heavenly Origin in days. I’ll summon our Jin family’s last elder."

Hua Liukong heaved a deep sigh, then added, "I’ll urge our sect’s remaining elders once more. Ye Chenfeng and his crew can’t be spared."

Luo Qianjiang nodded approvingly and replied, "Excellent. I’ll prod Xiao Yao Palace’s veterans again—will they join? If not soon, that brat’s faction solidifies, and we mustn’t allow it."

This time, Luo Qianjiang and company never anticipated Hua Fanjiang and Jin Nanhuo’s swift ends; they’d banked on their return, intel or not. But now? Their demises stayed shrouded, mirroring Jin Shouyan’s prior fate. They knew neither how Jin Shouyan fell nor how Hua Fanjiang and Jin Nanhuo went down.
