The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] Chapter 1341: All Good!

Pursued, attacked, and practically hunted by concentrated spiritual energy blasts.
That was the precarious situation Battalion 10’s battleship had found itself in as it continued getting pelted by attacks that couldn’t be intercepted by conventional point-defense shells.
And if even Finn, who was still a mere cadet, could recognize the glaring problem, it was no wonder the experienced captain suddenly slammed his fist against the console.
"The shields won’t hold up for long if we keep getting hit like this!"
Of course, it wasn’t as though anyone aboard wanted to remain in a position where they could do nothing but receive blows!
After all, even non-sentient military battleships had their own dignity to uphold!
Unfortunately, they were currently trapped within the relatively tight confines of the planet’s upper atmosphere, where initiating a spatial jump wasn’t possible just yet.
And that made them a terrifyingly convenient target for the high-spec mechas pursuing them, especially when those machines were moving considerably faster than standard manual units!
Nothing about their situation looked particularly optimistic.
In fact, the crew could only imagine how much worse things would’ve been if B10’s battleship had possessed any less energy than it currently did.
While the energy required to maintain and repair shields against conventional ballistic attacks was relatively manageable, defending against concentrated spiritual attacks and bloodline abilities could consume several times as much!
It was practically like trying to defend against something as sharp as a diamond using ordinary glass!
As warning klaxons blared throughout the bridge, several proctors rushed toward the captain’s station, their faces pale as they studied the rapidly changing readings.
"What are our options here?!"
"We need to get those damn mechas off our backs, or we won’t have any shields left by the time we reach orbit!" the captain shouted over the sirens. "And that’s assuming those lunatics don’t decide to target our jump apparatus the moment our shields give out!"
"Shit!"
At this point, there really wasn’t much reason to watch their language.
The proctors cursed under their breaths as they prepared to deal with the situation themselves, because the holographic projections showing just how quickly the shields’ durability was dropping weren’t something any of them could afford to ignore!
However, just as one of the proctors spun around, he nearly crashed headfirst into someone standing directly behind him.
He only avoided the collision because another colleague managed to tug him back in time!
"...!"
When the man looked down, he was stunned to discover that Luca Kyros and the rest of DG had somehow slipped right behind him without his noticing.
And before he could even open his mouth to lecture them about how dangerous it was to be wandering around under these circumstances, the golden-eyed cadet looked him straight in the eye.
"Sir, we can help."
Luca’s voice was remarkably calm.
"Based on what the cadets from the other battalions have been reporting, those people seem more interested in keeping everyone grounded than actually destroying the battleships. But we can’t let that happen, can we? Even if they don’t manage to stop us, they’ll just move on to another battalion that’s far less prepared to deal with them."
"..."
The proctor suddenly felt an enormous headache coming on.
The responsibility of convincing these young cadets not to return to the surface hadn’t fallen on him earlier, so he hadn’t exactly prepared himself for this particular argument.
And now?
What was he even supposed to say?!
All those carefully established regulations and talking points didn’t mean a damn thing when they were being actively bombarded by terrorists!
Still, he couldn’t just send them into the middle of a battle like that.
He hesitated, considering whether to suggest letting the proctors deploy first and only calling on the cadets if their assistance proved necessary.
The battleship lurched violently as another heavy attack slammed into its shields, nearly throwing him off his feet before he could even finish that thought!
And at that very moment, the two head proctors came sprinting down the corridor!
"Let them go! Let them deploy!"
"" the proctor who’d stayed on the bridge barked, staring at them in utter bewilderment.
Even the members of DG looked slightly confused by the sudden reversal.
Well...
All except one particular Imperial Prince who stood there knowing exactly why.
"The—they’ve got an authorized contract directly from Military HQ!"
"They’ve got a "
"A contract!" the arriving proctor practically shouted, raising his terminal to show them the high-priority notification. "Shit, I don’t know how the hell it got processed either, or how the notification even reached me, but I’ve verified it! It’s completely legitimate, and the authorization specifically allows them to deploy!"
"...!"
The examiners were completely caught off guard.
A legitimate contract from Military HQ?!
At a time like this?!
Just what kind of ridiculous connections did these cadets have that they could somehow obtain an official authorization when even the battleship’s regular communication channels were practically useless?!
Regrettably, they didn’t have the luxury of investigating that particular mystery.
Because the captain’s voice suddenly boomed through the speakers once more.
"Brace for impact!"
The entire vessel rocked as another spiritual attack slammed into its barrier, sending several people stumbling.
And just like that, everyone realized there was absolutely no time left to argue about possible consequences!
After all, worrying about regulations was a luxury reserved for people who managed to stay alive long enough to be court-martialed!
"Fine! Go!" B8’s head proctor finally shouted in utter resignation. "But we discuss your exit strategies the moment this threat is neutralized! Now, what assistance can we give you?!"
"We’re all good!" Luca replied without hesitation. "In case of an emergency, we’ll have Theo and Ada stay here for the time being!"
"..."
Before the proctor could even process that answer, Luca had already turned around and started making his way toward the launch bay, with the other members of DG following closely behind.
The seasoned military personnel could only stare after them.
Were these children seriously not going to ask for even an ounce of assistance?!
And what was that about leaving Theo and Ada behind?!
The way Luca had casually said it almost made it sound as though he was assigning two elite guards to protect everyone else aboard the battleship!
Just what kind of situation was this?!
