Luca asks Gloria and Gary to help him "cheese it" by rushing the dungeon core, much to his father's dismay. He explains that this strategy, while sacrificing loot, is ideal for a simulation where materials cannot be gathered. Marshal Julian approves of the plan but questions Luca's specific requests for the Head Maid and Butler.

Despite undoubtedly being cursed by that baldie Han, Butler Gary definitely had it in him to offer whatever kind of support was needed. After all, he hadn’t been kidding when he offered his devotion to the Kyros family.

If anything, the only reservation he had was how he could possibly help when they were facing an entire army of corrupted creatures!

As someone who’d already had the unfortunate experience of fighting for his life inside an actual dungeon, Gary had honestly felt much more composed when he learned that they’d only be entering a simulation this time around. Sure, they’d been told it wouldn’t be anything like that dungeon from before, but even so, he’d thought himself prepared enough in case they encountered something unexpected.

Especially since unexpected things seemed to happen rather frequently whenever their Young Lord was involved.

But not like

If someone forced Gary to draw a picture of what was currently inching closer to the metropolis, the easiest way would probably be to fill the sky with giant hairballs sporting grotesque-looking mouths, then surround them with several much larger creatures that the heir claimed resembled enormous floating whales.

Whales that, in his Young Lord’s own words, just happened to look rather "ominous."

Butler Gary wasn’t entirely sure what the whales of Tesseris were supposed to look like, but if they looked anything like , then he couldn’t understand why anyone would willingly go near them, much less engrave their image into anyone’s mind!

Also, unfortunately, this wasn’t a drawing.

Those things were clearly coming right at them in droves.

And that wasn’t even counting all the corrupted beasts Gary could already see prowling, running, and slithering across the ground beneath them!

Now, he would’ve understood if he’d been asked to rush toward that nightmare while using his biomecha. That would’ve actually sounded logical.

But in all his mortal glory?

Just what exactly was he supposed to contribute?!

Well, apparently, for one, he could lend his budding bloodline ability to their Young Lord, who politely asked if he’d be willing to do so.

"!"

Recovering from his initial surprise, Butler Gary’s posture immediately snapped straight as a rod. Standing at total attention, he responded respectfully, "Of course, Young Lord! If you’ll excuse me."

Gary focused his intent before extending his hands toward the rubble surrounding them.

Almost immediately, the dust and debris began to shiver.

Dense, metallic-hued stones started gathering from all around them, shifting across the ground before layering smoothly over the section Gary had designated. All the while, Luca kept one hand resting gently against the butler’s arm, watching the entire process with bright, hyper-focused golden eyes.

Gary cleared his throat slightly as the last few pieces settled into place.

"Would this much suffice, or should I pile on more?"

Luca’s entire expression lit up.

"This much is already enough, but !" The golden-eyed cadet practically beamed at the butler. "Butler Gary, you’ve already managed to choose different focal points! Then this would be perfect!"

"Perfect?" Gary repeated, blinking at his Young Lord’s unbridled enthusiasm.

"Yes!" Luca nodded vigorously. "Because I was thinking we could do something like this."

And with that, the dungeon owner moved.

Turning away from them, Luca stepped toward the very edge of the ledge they were standing on, facing the vast armada of corruption, from the massive swarm clogging the skies to the countless beasts surging across the ground below.

Much to the shock and surprise of everyone watching, his normally gentle expression turned completely serious.

Then the entire ledge suddenly trembled.

"!"

Luca thrust both hands outward.

The ground shuddered violently as countless massive stones tore free from the debris surrounding them, rising one after another until they were all levitating in the air in a terrifying display of control.

The golden-eyed cadet immediately targeted one of the enormous whale-like monstrosities dominating the sky.

With a sharp jerk of his hands, the boulders shot upward at blinding speed!

Then Luca brought both hands down with immense force.

The stones hurtled straight onto the massive creature!

A long, echoing, low-frequency shriek tore through the air as the attack struck with unthinkable force. The giant aerial beast visibly buckled before plummeting straight toward the ground, its enormous body crashing into the horde below and crushing countless ground-bound corrupted creatures before they could even disperse!

The tremendous impact sent debris exploding in every direction.

One targeted attack had effectively wiped out dozens of the surrounding monsters!

Luca lightly patted his cheeks in lingering worry before breaking into a relieved smile at the result.

"Oh, great! I almost thought it wouldn’t work!" he exclaimed happily. "It’s more difficult like this, so I had to coat the stones with spiritual energy to keep them from shattering, but with the help of—"

The golden-eyed cadet casually turned back toward his party, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he’d quite literally just sunk something as big as a warship.

Then he stopped.

"?"

Everyone was gawking at him.

"W-what’s wrong?" Luca asked in complete confusion.

But how could they react like that?!

The dungeon owner hadn’t even realized that the ledge directly beneath his feet had cratered from the sheer amount of spiritual energy he’d just unleashed!

The force had been so intense that the Kyros couple had instinctively thrown up a massive spiritual shield around the rest of the party just to make sure everyone remained safe!

So technically, nothing was wrong.

Absolutely nothing!

But just how on Solaris was anyone supposed to replicate

Thankfully, there was at least one person who reacted far more positively.

"Wooooow!"

Princess Nina, having just witnessed something mind-blowingly cool with her own two eyes, practically squealed in pure pride!

"Brother Chipmunk is the best!"

The little Imperial Princess wiggled excitedly in Xavier’s arms, praising her one and only Brother Chipmunk with enough enthusiasm to make up for everyone else’s stunned silence.

Not only was he the kindest and most beautiful chipmunk, but she’d also never seen anyone quite as strong as him!

Safe to say, instead of feeling like the future was suddenly looking rather bleak, unlike perhaps everyone else who’d subconsciously started imagining this level of contamination and destruction happening somewhere inside the Empire, the young Imperial Princess reacted quite differently.

Being exposed so early to the fact that someone like the bestest Chipmunk existed in the universe meant that Nina hadn’t developed an intense fear of what was to come.

Instead, she had an absolute admiration for the heroes who could fight all those evil monsters!

Forget all the other shows on Star Net.

This was clearly better than anything anyone could ever ask for!

Luca, meanwhile, flushed bright red under all that praise.

"T-Thank you, little Nina." He scratched awkwardly at the back of his head before clearing his throat and attempting to get everyone back on topic. "Actually, I think if Butler Gary can work together with Head Maid Gloria so she can change the mass of the stones, then taking out most of the flying monsters will be much easier! And we’d get to clear the ones on the ground too!"

"Woaaaah! So that’s how it is!"

Princess Nina wiggled happily in Xavier’s arms before transferring her bright, beaming gaze toward Butler Gary and Head Maid Gloria.

"!"

The two loyal servants exchanged a look.

Neither of them had the slightest idea how on Solaris they were supposed to replicate even a tenth of what their Young Lord had just done!
