The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] Chapter 1214: Internal Ice

Take Exhibit A, for example.
Xavier Aeric Theron Solaris.
A hidden big boss who’d been raised with impeccable etiquette befitting his true station had somehow found himself surviving on barely any sleep.
Instead of spending a peaceful and restful night with his beloved, most of those precious hours of darkness had been devoted to repeatedly reminding himself that self-control was the bare minimum expected of any decent human being.
And that, short of the universe somehow turning itself inside out because of circumstances completely beyond anyone’s control, restraint came before everything else. As someone who wanted to be decent, if nothing else, he was determined to stick to his principles and let his beloved get the rest he so desperately needed.
Sure, other people might’ve found his predicament utterly ridiculous, but that was only because they weren’t the ones being subjected to such a relentless test of willpower.
Even now, after somehow surviving that ordeal, it certainly didn’t help that Luca looked particularly unfair wearing those glasses, which only served as an unfortunate reminder of everything that had transpired just a few hours earlier.
To be fair, it wasn’t as though his wife was deliberately trying to kill him with that new look. Definitely not.
The glasses had become a necessary precaution because Luca had chosen the more difficult path of retaining the Luxastra bloodline ability for another day in case more victims needed to be freed from its influence. But thanks to that specifically engineered accessory, his little chipmunk’s worries were minimized and he was free to be as bright and bubbly as ever today.
Unfortunately, the real challenge had never been the glasses or how delectable he looked in them.
It had always been Luca himself. Particularly the version from a couple of hours ago.

The little fox had become unexpectedly active in his sleep while remaining blissfully unaware of any of it. Xavier had simply wanted to hold his beloved through the night.
Instead, he ended up receiving far more than he had bargained for, as Luca unknowingly tested the limits of his composure every time he shifted in his sleep.
That warm body he always craved was sprawled all over him. The sound of soft breaths seemed strangely magnified in Xavier’s ears, while one delicate yet far too adventurous hand slowly wormed its way beneath the Prince’s shirt. The other lingered against his side, gathering the fabric until it rode up enough to leave a strip of bare skin exposed.
Xavier had honestly started saying prayers the moment he felt those wandering fingers brush against his bare chest.
Then made sure to internally chant faster the moment he heard the quiet little sounds.
"Mnn..."
"Husba...nd..."
Each sleepy murmur drifted against the spot just beneath Xavier’s ear as Luca instinctively sought him out, head nuzzling against his neck with complete trust.
But as though the difficulty level hadn’t already been high enough, his little fox shifted again.
One leg slid between Xavier’s before absentmindedly rubbing against his thigh and everything else down there, completely unaware of the havoc it was causing. Every random graze and unconscious brush nearly had the poor Prince hissing through his teeth.
Xavier shut his eyes.
This was torture.
Genuine torture.
Everything about it was torture that would eventually drive him insane, especially when every instinct in him wanted nothing more than to run his hands over his wife’s supple body.
He could already picture himself sinking his fingers into that perfect little bubble he adored so much, yet all those same fingers could do at the moment were to repeatedly clench and unclench around empty air, burdened by a longing that wasn’t going to be fulfilled.
At least not that night.
His beloved wasn’t trying to seduce him. If anything, Luca was probably just searching for a more comfortable sleeping position. Maybe he simply wanted a little more of the coolness Xavier naturally carried.
Unfortunately, that realization offered Xavier no comfort whatsoever. If anything, the complete innocence and trust with which Luca clung to him only made the ordeal that much harder to endure.
The culprit was perfectly innocent. Xavier’s imagination, on the other hand, most certainly was not.
Eventually, the white wolf reached the limits of what any sane spouse could endure.
With painstaking care, he rolled them over until Luca was the one lying peacefully beneath him.
The little fox barely stirred.
Xavier remained above him for a long moment, every muscle in his body drawn taut.
Even the brush of his shirt against his skin felt unbearable.
With a slow exhale, he pulled it over his head and tossed it aside, hoping the cool air might help him regain at least a shred of composure when his internal ice couldn’t even help him.
It didn’t.
He looked down at the sleeping guide beneath him as though weighing the most important decision of his life.
In the end, all he did was lower himself enough to press a kiss against Luca’s forehead.
Then the bridge of his nose.
Finally, the softest brush of lips against Luca’s own.
The sleeping fox smiled contentedly.
Just like that.
Xavier stared for a second before pressing his tongue against the inside of his cheek, one hand dragging slowly through his hair in quiet resignation.
That night was going to be very, very long.
The shower bore silent witness to that fact.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
Four.
By the last visit, even Xavier found the number difficult to believe.
Standing beneath the cold stream, one hand braced against the slick tile wall and the other desperately working to calm his own unruly erection, he could only marvel at how a single sleeping person could reduce him to this maddening breathless state without even trying.
And hypothetical as it was—since he’d sooner die than let anyone else witness his undoing—no one who saw the future monarch that night could have ever questioned his virility.
Unfortunately for him, the Elders would never be willing to hear that bit or simply let it go from one ear to the other, still insisting on the things he needed to consume. Now look at what had become of him?
To make matters even more ironic, the beautiful fox who had unknowingly bewitched him throughout the entire night woke the next morning looking positively radiant.
Luca stretched happily before turning toward him with a bright smile that could’ve illuminated the entire room. He didn’t even put that eye mask on as if taking all the words he said to heart and the touched husband could only pray that his saintly wife could accept such a lustful demon in his bed.
Xavier looked at the sunshine before him, then at his own sleep-deprived reflection.
And sure enough, that extremely warm, practically hammered in the last nail.
Who knew that being this close in their relationship would just make it harder for him than the first time it sort of happened?
