Luo Wei Tian postponed a business meeting when he received news. His eldest son, Luo Ren, rejected a girl's confession. Elsewhere, his second son, Luo Jin, was in a fight at school. Both sons then received a call informing them that their third brother, Yan Yan, had woken up.

"DOCTOR... m-my n-name... what?" Luo Yan questioned the elderly physician at his bedside.

For a moment, the doctor remained motionless before a flicker of apprehension crossed his features. "You don’t recall your name?" Luo Yan gave a slow nod. "And what else is lost to you?"

"Ev-everything."

Doctor Han let out a weary sigh. His oversight was apparent; he should have inquired about the teenager's mental state as a top priority, right after his physical condition. The sheer relief of seeing the boy conscious had overshadowed even the most fundamental questions. He must be getting old. The teenager was undeniably suffering from amnesia, which wasn't surprising given the severity of the accident, particularly the direct impact to his head. Such after-effects were to be expected.

"The young master’s name is Luo Yan," he conveyed gently to the young man.

Observing Luo Yan’s continued bewilderment, Doctor Han exhaled even more deeply. Revealing the full extent of his current condition was out of the question; it would likely have detrimental repercussions. Considering his fragile mental state, any further distress should be avoided.

"We shall now conduct a comprehensive medical examination. Is that agreeable, young master?" the doctor proposed.

"Will... it hurt?"

"No need for concern, you won’t feel a thing."

Luo Yan nodded, his gaze dropping to conceal his thoughts from the doctor. So, this vessel also bore the name Luo Yan. That certainly simplified matters. Had he been saddled with a different identity, responding would have been far more complicated. Now, his sole task was to feign amnesia, a role easily adopted given this body’s lack of genuine recollections.

Furthermore, he needed to maintain the pretense of an innocent ten-year-old. Since this body had slipped into a coma at that tender age, its mental development had consequently stalled. Any display of adult maturity would be jarring and out of place. His initial awakening had already deviated from his expected persona. If he failed to embody a child devoid of awareness, those around him might detect his anomaly. Having committed to inhabiting this existence as ’Luo Yan’, it would be profoundly disadvantageous if suspicion arose that he was an imposter.

Adopting specific personas to acclimate and thrive within new environments had always been Luo Yan’s forte, a crucial survival mechanism throughout his existence. This situation would prove no different. With such an exceptionally appealing visage, the task would be considerably easier. Luo Yan could only hope his newfound ’family’ would not present undue complications.

Shortly thereafter, several nurses entered, meticulously preparing him for the thorough medical assessment.

Following the collection of blood, urine, and stool samples, and after undergoing an MRI scan, Doctor Han commenced testing Luo Yan’s reflexes. As he concluded, the door to Luo Yan’s hospital room swung open.

Two imposing men, emanating an identical aura of cool composure, entered. One, evidently older, possessed a mature charm; he appeared to be in his early forties. The younger man, a striking likeness of the elder, was likely in his early twenties. Both exuded remarkable handsomeness, making their familial connection immediately apparent.

Their gazes fell upon Luo Yan, and their stern expressions instantly softened, replaced by tender and affectionate visages.

"Xiao Yan."

"Yan Yan."

They spoke in unison, their pace quickening as they approached his bed. Before Luo Yan could fully process the scene, the door opened once more, admitting a tall, lanky teenager. He lacked the refined demeanor of the other two; consequently, despite sharing similar features, no one would mistake him for them. This disparity wasn't due to his transitional phase between boyhood and manhood, but rather his untamed and unrestrained essence, hinting at a deeply suppressed rage.

Indeed, his current expression was one of palpable irritation.

"So, you’ve finally woken up, huh," the teenager remarked, his eyes narrowing at Luo Yan.

Luo Yan observed the three individuals before him. Could these be his new family members?
