Mo Hua learns of the influential Bai Family and prepares to leave Taixu Gate for home. He chooses a slower, less luxurious ferry based on a strong intuition, despite other, faster options being available. As night falls, memories flood Mo Hua's mind, but are interrupted by a familiar spatial rift appearing in his room, emanating a strange demonic presence.

Mo Hua observed the peculiar void rift within the chamber, his brow furrowed in contemplation.

"Is this the void transmission conjured by the Patriarch?"

"Or could it be some other entity manipulating things?"

"I wonder how the Patriarch is faring now..."

A somber expression settled on Mo Hua’s features.

Should he venture inside?

After a brief period of thought, Mo Hua decisively shook his head.

At this critical moment, there was no room for hesitation; this rift was undoubtedly problematic.

This was evident from the chilling, unsettling aura it exuded.

Mo Hua had no clue where this rift might possibly lead.

Entering it was simply not an option.

Disregarding the unsettling void rift, Mo Hua reclined on the bed, closing his eyes to seek rest.

Void transmission was a power inherent to the Heaven Void Realm; he had yet to attain that level and could not influence it, so ignoring it was the wisest course.

By the couch, an eerie setting offered no promise of undisturbed repose.

But that held true only for ordinary individuals.

Mo Hua dealt with the uncanny on a daily basis; he was even accustomed to the presence of an Evil God lingering near his person.

The abyssal, frigid void rift stretched across the room, radiating a palpable sense of danger.

Mo Hua paid it no mind, yet moments later, familiar voices began to whisper near his ear.

Aged, resolute, unyielding voices — it was Patriarch Dugu’s voice.

Patriarch Dugu was in the process of transmitting his sword techniques to him.

Following that, it seemed Elder Master Xun was gradually guiding him in the understanding of Formations.

His fellow disciples from the same sect addressed him as "Senior Brother."

Then, his parents, his childhood companions, and the acquaintances from Tongxian City spoke to him.

Faintly, Mo Hua could still discern his Senior Brother Bai Zisheng eagerly calling him to witness the Monster Hunting spectacle.

And his Senior Sister, softly murmuring his name...

"Mo Hua..."

Mo Hua’s eyes slowly opened, his expression darkening as he fixed a cold gaze upon the eerie void rift.

"Attempting to tempt me?"

"I am truly curious to discover what entity dares to test my resolve..."

Mo Hua rose, his gaze profound, and moved towards the void rift, stepping into it as he had done before, traversing the void.

The world swirled, a dim blackness enveloped him, and upon reopening his eyes, he found himself surrounded by a desolate forest dotted with broken swords and ancient tombs.

This was the Sword Tomb Forbidden Land nestled behind Taixu Mountain.

However, it differed somewhat from the forbidden land Mo Hua remembered.

Everywhere, suppressing Formations and golden chains densely sealed the entire region, and a potent Sealing power permeated the very atmosphere.

The surrounding vistas flickered, appearing both real and ephemeral.

For a moment, Mo Hua doubted whether he was dreaming or experiencing reality.

At this instant, an immensely powerful and chilling aura of an Evil Demon surged forth.

The entire forbidden land was instantaneously engulfed by a ferocious black gale.

The Sealing Formation activated with full might, emitting a blinding radiance, and the golden chains began to vibrate intensely.

It appeared as though a colossal entity was on the verge of manifesting.

Mo Hua’s expression shifted slightly as he directed his gaze towards the source of the disturbance, discerning a tear in the sky from which a gigantic claw, wreathed in malevolent black energy, extended.

Almost simultaneously, a sharp, pure white sword light pierced the heavens, imbued with formidable Sword Intent, directly cleaving the Devil’s Claw.

Patriarch Dugu!

Mo Hua gasped in shock. Turning, he observed Patriarch Dugu seated in solitary meditation before an ancient grave beneath the celestial tear, his fingertips enveloped by an immensely pure Sword Intent, charged with an incredibly sharp killing aura.

This was the first time Mo Hua had witnessed Patriarch Dugu manifesting his Divine Thought into a sword strike.

It was also, thus far, the most potent ultimate move Mo Hua had ever beheld, formed by a cultivator’s Divine Thought.

This astonishing Sword Intent bore down with oppressive force, making Mo Hua’s skin prickle as if stung by countless needles.

Mo Hua’s gaze was filled with a hint of bewilderment.

"This is the true... Tai Xu Divine Thought Sword Transformation..."

"It is condensed from a lifetime of dedicated practice, realized from the pinnacle of the Sword Dao; the purest, untainted by other Laws, ultimate God-slaying Sword Forms..."

Mo Hua’s Godslaying Sword was a somewhat rudimentary amalgamation.

But the Godslaying Sword before him represented a lifetime of essence honed to absolute purity.

This was Patriarch Dugu’s Sword of Divine Thought.

For a fleeting moment, Mo Hua was overcome with reverence.

This was an opportunity rarely seen in a millennium...

Subconsciously, Mo Hua immersed his entire being into the sword light, slowly contemplating and absorbing the purest, most intricate essence of the Divine Thought Sword Transformation displayed by Patriarch Dugu.

He used this understanding to continuously refine and enhance his own God-slaying Sword Technique.

Though the Devil’s Claw was severed, indistinct roars echoed from the tear in the sky, and shortly thereafter, another claw emerged.

A sword light once again soared towards the heavens.

Once more, Patriarch Dugu purged the Devil’s Claw, bringing its existence to an end.

Following this, numerous assaults by external Demon Thoughts occurred, each one being annihilated by Patriarch Dugu’s formidable Divine Thought Sword Computation.

Mo Hua observed these events in stunned silence, his expression undergoing a rapid transformation as he looked upward.

He witnessed a colossal surge of Demonic Qi pouring from a rupture in the sky, from which emerged a gargantuan head.

This colossal head lacked any facial features or discernible characteristics, completely devoid of the five senses, and entirely bone-white.

However, upon this stark white surface, dark Evil Qi spread like spilled ink, ceaselessly contorting into grotesque visages of mirth, rage, melancholy, and fright, constantly transforming like a depiction of the ephemeral world, illustrating the vast spectrum of human feelings.

"Could this be... the Heavenly Demon?"

The Hundred-faced Heavenly Demon?

Mo Hua’s pupils constricted slightly.

At the very same moment, an extraordinary sharpness ignited within Patriarch Dugu’s gaze.

"Vile fiend!"

Patriarch Dugu uttered a low cry, then elevated both his arms; his hands adopted the form of sword fingers, converging three inches above his head. The potent Sword Intent surrounding him surged like a tempest, rattling the foundations of the Sword Tomb.
