Ye Mo employs a cunning strategy, using the Ancient Yin Yang God Magnet to attract the Blood Fiend Spear and strike Jin Tianzun from behind. Despite Jin Tianzun's attempts to escape as a soul, Ye Mo destroys him completely. Afterward, Ye Mo establishes a friendship with the Yang family and advises them to seek refuge with the Wraith Clan.

"Aren’t you coming with us to the Wraith Clan?"

Yang Rong couldn’t help but ask.

"I still have some matters to attend to in Dan City, I want to purchase some herbal ingredients and can’t return to the Wraith Clan just yet."

Ye Mo stated.

"What herbs do you want to buy? Our Yang family clan should have them."

Yang Rong inquired, looking at Ye Mo.

"Soul Spirit Grass, Silver Frost Grass."

"Aren’t those the materials for refining the Heavenly Spirit Resurrection Pill? I’m afraid only the Dan Clan would possess such materials."

"Where is the Dan Clan?"

Ye Mo only knew the name of the Dan Clan but not the location of their main headquarters. He vividly recalled the day the Pill Saint dispatched a large contingent of experts to besiege him, and the Dan Clan stripped him of his Alchemist champion title. Now that his cultivation was complete, it was time for retribution.

"The Dan Clan’s territory is situated in the Hundred Herb Mountains, not far from Dan City. The Dan Clan is on the verge of holding another Alchemy competition; it's said they intend to re-select an Alchemy champion. This time, the Dan Clan has broadcasted widely: the champion emerging from this Alchemy competition will be auctioned off, and the highest bidder will gain the right to recruit them. Numerous hidden forces are heading towards the Dan Clan to try their fortune in recruiting the Alchemy competition champion."

Yang Rong explained.

"This Dan Clan is truly ambitious."

Ye Mo let out a cold sneer.

"This Alchemy competition will be presided over by the Pill Saint himself, so there shouldn’t be a shortage of participating Alchemists."

Upon hearing Yang Rong’s words, a trace of malice flickered across Ye Mo’s face. "Pill Saint, you old scoundrel, you almost cost me my life that day. This time, not only will I end your life, but I will also ensure your reputation is utterly ruined, exposing your true ugly face to everyone."

"Yang Rong, why don’t you accompany me to the Dan Clan?"

Ye Mo proposed.

"You’re going to the Dan Clan?"

Yang Rong was taken aback, seemingly grasping Ye Mo’s intentions.

"Yes!"

Ye Mo confirmed with a nod.

"Go, of course, go! My Rongrong will certainly not refuse."

Yang Zu roared with laughter, eager to send Yang Rong off immediately.

"Ancestor, what are you saying?"

Yang Rong blushed slightly, clearly embarrassed.

"In that case, let’s all go our separate ways!"

Ye Mo didn't dwell on the matter.

Yang Rong also made some arrangements, then departed Dan City with Ye Mo, heading towards the Dan Clan.

Dan City is nestled within the Hundred Herb Mountains, so named because a multitude of rare herbs flourish in the mountains. Previously, the Hundred Herb Mountains were unclaimed territory, but once the Dan Clan discovered these riches, they moved their main headquarters directly into the mountains. Many Alchemists wishing to gather herbs there are now directly obstructed.

Even the Dead Soul Royal Family and the Wraith Clan cannot contend with the Dan Clan, as their respective Alchemists are not natives but were hired from the Dan Clan.

"Is this the Hundred Herb Mountains? It is truly a paradise for Alchemists."

Upon first sight of the Hundred Herb Mountains, Ye Mo was enveloped by the aroma of herbs emanating from within. With a single inhalation, he could discern at least a hundred different types.

"The Dan Clan is not only skilled in Alchemy; their methods for cultivating herbs are also extraordinary."

Yang Rong remarked calmly.

Ye Mo and Yang Rong descended simultaneously, alighting upon a small peak. Their gazes then shifted to behold a colossal black archway situated at the heart of the mountains, within which pulsed an interdimensional rift. Evidently, this Blackstone Archway served as the portal to the Dan Clan’s domain.

Typically, numerous clans establish their own pocket dimensions.

However, neither the Wraith Clan nor the Dead Soul Royal Family created such spaces, as pocket dimensions facilitate escape during enemy invasions. By sealing the dimension, one cannot locate the Dan Clan without spatial coordinates.

But for clans like the Wraith Clan and the Dead Soul Royal Family, no one dares to target them.

"Yang Rong, you participate in the competition, and I will disguise myself as your Pill Refining Powder."

Ye Mo formulated his plan.

"Yes!"

Yang Rong agreed.

At this juncture, figures were continuously descending from the sky and remoteness, landing near the Blackstone Archway. After their identities were verified, the guards permitted them passage.

"Let’s head over there as well!"

Ye Mo uttered, his body flashing as the pair landed directly before the Blackstone Archway.

Noticing the arrivals, a Dan Clan guard obstructed them with a spear, intoning coldly, "To enter the Dan Clan, state your origins."

"I am Yang Rong of the Yang Family from Dan City, here to participate in the Alchemy competition."

Yang Rong stated composedly.

"Yang Family of Dan City."

The guard scrutinized them both without suspicion, then declared, "You two may proceed; someone will guide you to register for the competition."

With a nod, the two individuals passed through the archway. As the space around them warped, their vision momentarily blurred before resolving into a vast expanse of medicinal herbs. A road, a hundred zhang wide, bisected this field, already bustling with a multitude of people.

"If you two are here to observe the Alchemy competition, kindly follow us. Those participating should remain here!"

A disciple of the Dan Clan approached shortly after they entered the premises.

"I am here for the Alchemy competition," Yang Rong stated.

"Then please wait here patiently. The Alchemy competition is scheduled to commence in one day," the Dan Clan disciple replied before departing, leaving the pair to themselves.

Ye Mo took in his surroundings. Beyond the wide road, misty veils parted in the distance to reveal majestic mountains. Buildings, resembling Pillars of Heaven, were nestled amongst them.

Undoubtedly, this path led deeper into the heart of the Dan Clan.

"The Dan Clan is truly arrogant, leaving us out here in the cold and forbidding us from cultivating in their inner courtyards."

"Yet, they are the Dan Clan, renowned throughout the land. We require their favor to secure rankings; defying them risks outright disqualification."

"Precisely. I recall the previous Alchemy competition's champion, Ye Mo, who declined to become the Pill Saint's disciple. That's why the Dan Clan stripped him of his title. Come now, he concocted numerous supreme elixirs; how could he possibly have cheated?"

"Exactly! Even fabricating supreme elixirs would require immense skill. If the Pill Saint himself cannot produce such items, how could anyone else cheat?"

"The Dan Clan seeks to hoard talented Alchemists and dominate the entire field. But we are left with no choice; under their dominion, we must abide by their rules."

A number of frustrated Alchemists, gathered for the competition, began to voice their discontent.

"Who dares to cause such a disturbance? Do you court death?"

At that very moment, a formidable man clad in black armor, accompanied by guards, strode toward them. The hushed discussions of the Alchemists had not escaped his notice.

"Was it you who spoke those words just now?" The imposing man pointed a finger at an individual in flowing robes, his voice laced with cold authority.

"What do you want?" The man, sensing the potent killing aura emanating from the large man, felt a surge of panic.

"Repeat what you just said!" the imposing figure demanded, his tone chilling.

"The members of the Dan Clan are indeed excessively arrogant. We, from Dragon Scale Valley, have now witnessed it firsthand. Are they so fearful that they forbid others from discussing their actions?"

At this juncture, a warrior adorned in Dragon Scale Battle Armor emerged from the throng, his expression dripping with disdain.
