The Legendary Son-in-law of the Emperor Chapter 1879 - 1876: Meeting

The Emperor’s Grand Dao.
Sensing the transformation within his Dao Body and the Seven Immortal Bodies, Ye Xuan grinned. He had finally achieved the breakthrough!
However, Ye Xuan's smile quickly vanished as his attention shifted towards the Primordial Emperor Road. Nine figures were rapidly descending.
"Not a Great Saint..." Ye Xuan perceived their auras. These nine were all in the Invincible Great Sage Realm and originated from outside the Xuanhuang Great World, clearly visitors from the Heavenly Domain.
Furthermore, aside from the one with a sword strapped to his back, the other eight were not of the Human Clan. A moment of contemplation led Ye Xuan to understand: these were indeed individuals from the Heavenly Domain treading the Emperor's path.
In previous eras, those from the Heavenly Domain would traverse the Emperor's path alongside inhabitants of the myriad worlds. This time, however, they were notably lagging behind.
Upon further reflection, it became apparent that the top talents of the Heavenly Domain were not subjected to the Heavenly Dao's suppression. Consequently, some had already attained the Great Sage Realm, and their retinues naturally followed suit.
As for these nine, Ye Xuan surmised they were likely the vanguards. With this thought, Ye Xuan dismissed them, refocusing on the internal changes within his Dao Body and the Seven Immortal Bodies.
With the Heavenly Dao's suppression lifted, the inherent limitations on his Dao Body and the Seven Immortal Bodies were evidently removed. Both the Dao Body and the Seven Immortal Bodies were progressing towards the Great Success stage.
Once they reached the Great Success stage, as the ancient saying goes: 'I shall be invincible, and all others may do as they please.' Whether facing a Great Saint or a Quasi-Emperor, a battle would ensue.
Even without the Emperor Soul, Ye Xuan harbored no fear. This was a contingency he had long anticipated.
At this juncture, Jin Hai and his companions also detected Ye Xuan's presence. The sight of Ye Xuan briefly glancing at them before resuming his cultivation drew their ire. Their encounters thus far with beings on this path had ended with Ye Xuan disposing of them, casting them off the Emperor’s path.
It appeared this individual also courted death.
"Allow me to handle the elimination this time, lest you again fail to gather information on Ye Xuan and Gu Changge," Jin Hai volunteered. The others raised no objections.
The number of cultivators on the Primordial Emperor Road was dwindling, making the acquisition of information a challenging task. Yet, among these nine, with their peculiar temperaments, they had eliminated numerous individuals along the way without extracting any crucial intel.
Jin Hai found this quite exasperating. However, it was perhaps unavoidable, as those they encountered were simply too weak to withstand their onslaught.
A moment later, the nine arrived at the base of the Primordial Chaos Stone. Jin Hai gazed up at the colossal stone, murmuring to himself, "This brat is quite audacious, still cultivating?"
"Hey!"
"Brat."
"This venerable one has a question for you. Do you know which Emperor Road Ye Xuan and Gu Changge are traversing?" Jin Hai wasted no time, his voice booming, carrying an astonishing power that soared skyward, pressing down upon Ye Xuan at the Primordial Chaos Stone.
While immersed in cultivation, Ye Xuan sensed the approaching force. His eyes were like still water, yet without any outward movement from Ye Xuan, the power dissipated harmlessly. It was as if a mysterious domain surrounded Ye Xuan, causing any encroaching force to vanish like smoke.
Ye Xuan rose from the Primordial Chaos Stone, looking down at the nine figures on the Primordial Emperor Road. His gaze settled on Jin Hai, and he calmly stated, "That does not sound like a question."
Jin Hai looked up at Ye Xuan, a slight smile gracing his lips. "You seem displeased?" he inquired.
Subsequently, Jin Hai, feeling that his formidable background made it tiresome to look up at an ant from a lower realm, abruptly stomped his foot. The terrifying aura of an Invincible Great Sage erupted, surging directly towards Ye Xuan!
Boom!
Again, as the power neared Ye Xuan, it completely vanished. "Hmm?" This time, Jin Hai was slightly taken aback. Could this individual not be weak?
"Interesting." The smile on Jin Hai's lips widened. "Since you refuse to speak now, this venerable one will inquire again later."
Boom!
In the next instant, Jin Hai ascended into the sky. Immediately, a dazzling golden light materialized behind Jin Hai. Within that vast luminescence, golden dragons emerged, each stretching ten thousand feet long, radiating an immense aura of deterrence.
These were the manifestations of Jin Hai's own Dao, appearing as golden dragons. Although they were merely the embodiment of Dao Laws, they appeared as if they were truly alive, their draconic might shaking the heavens.
For a time, the sky resonated with the roars of dragons.
"Go."
With a subtle wave of his hand, Jin Hai unleashed over ten thousand golden dragons. They streaked through the air, hurtling directly towards Ye Xuan.
Ye Xuan remained unperturbed, remarking with a calm demeanor, "Another fool."
He then lifted his hand and casually flicked a finger.
Whoosh!
A sliver of black energy, as fine as a hair, shot forth from Ye Xuan's fingertip. The instant it met the oncoming dragons, the black energy exploded, completely swallowing the myriad golden beasts.
One could observe the tens of thousands of golden dragons struggling desperately, unleashing their might in a final, explosive surge. However, the black energy proved superior, suppressing them until they finally vanished without a trace, as if effortlessly smoothed away.
"This individual is far from simple..."
Observing the scene unfold from the Primordial Emperor Road, Impermanence Sword Lord and his companions expressed a touch of astonishment.
While Jin Hai possessed a proud demeanor, his strength was undeniably substantial. They were all familiar with Jin Hai's Dao Laws, and the ease with which their opponent nullified his techniques indicated an extraordinary level of skill.
This newcomer might very well stand among the pinnacle prodigies of the Lower Realm.
"Could this be Gu Changge, or perhaps Ye Xuan himself? Or maybe one of those Snow Storage individuals or a Reincarnator?"
At this juncture, they all found themselves discreetly contemplating Ye Xuan's true identity. Recalling Ye Xuan's earlier reactions, the possibility seemed quite plausible.
Jin Hai, too, began to grasp something, his gaze settling seriously upon the youth in black robes. He spoke softly, "I've a rough idea of who you might be. If that's the case, further talk is unnecessary. Allow this venerable one to gauge the true capabilities of you Lower Realm prodigies!"
Boom!
As he uttered these words, Jin Hai's mana surged forth like an unfathomable ocean. Then, a series of sharp 'clang clang' sounds echoed through the air!
Golden light coalesced behind Jin Hai, forming numerous golden flying swords, which materialized into a vast, shimmering sea of blades.
"Could those be the Lifebound Gold Swords of the Jin family from the Heavenly Domain..."
Upon witnessing this spectacle, Ye Xuan softly murmured.
"So, you possess some knowledge," Jin Hai responded with a grin, his expression serene as he lightly acknowledged Ye Xuan's recognition of the swords' origin. "To perish by my Lifebound Gold Sword is a supreme honor for you."
"Do you have any final words?"
Jin Hai hovered in the sky, enveloped by countless golden swords. In that moment, he exuded the aura of a descending Emperor wielding a divine celestial sword, radiating an imposing majesty.
Truly, the description 'unrivaled' fit him perfectly!
As such!
Ye Xuan paid Jin Hai no mind, instead reaching for the Snow Nourishing Sword Gourd at his waist and taking a drink of wine.
His action was observed by all present.
"That is... a Sword Nurturing Gourd!"
Impermanence Sword Lord, a devoted Sword Cultivator, identified the gourd in Ye Xuan's hand almost instantly, letting out a soft exclamation.
Even having attained the Invincible Great Sage Realm, he had never possessed a Sword Nurturing Gourd of his own. In this current era, Sword Furnace Masters were exceedingly rare, and only a handful of ancient Sword Dao inheritances still held onto such treasured gourds.
Having finished his drink, Ye Xuan softly mused to himself, "Merely a petty 'Warril'."
