Ye Xuan negotiates with three Great Emperors confined within the Dao Chu Ancient Land, eventually offering them a path to freedom in exchange for their future service once the world falls into chaos. After departing, Ye Xuan senses a mysterious, watchful gaze lingering upon him, potentially linked to the Dou Tian Divine Domain. Meanwhile, reports of multiple Forbidden Lands retracting and the Evil God Sect causing havoc reach Zhou Youwei. Recognizing that the coming conflict involves her husband, she decides to conclude her seclusion and prepare.

Zhou Youwei traverses the vast cosmos, silently journeying through the starry reaches of the outer domain. Although she encounters numerous perils along the way, these hazards seem to instinctively retreat, as if an unseen force around her prevents any danger from drawing within half a step of her person.

She carries the Divine Sun Sword with the Winter Thunder Blade resting at her waist. Tied to her right hip is the Green Bird Sword Cultivation Gourd. An aura of immortality emanates from her, while her black robes heighten the cold, imperious atmosphere she projects. Truly, she is the perfect companion for Ye Xuan.

As Zhou Youwei passes various forbidden territories, the sovereigns within are stirred from their slumber, intending to pay homage to her presence. However, she dismisses them with a gesture; her return to the Xuanhuang Great World is a private matter, not one intended for grand spectacle. Though time feels both transient and infinite, she eventually crosses into the Xuanhuang Great World, standing before an ancient, weathered stele. Her gaze drifts to the very top, where a single name is inscribed: Ye Xuan.

Beneath the monument, an elder watches the silent arrival of this black-robed figure, trembling in terror. He attempts to speak, yet finds himself rendered mute by a mysterious power. This phenomenon leaves the elder shaken; who could this woman be, and what right have they to descend so easily? Since time immemorial, the location of the Mystic Yellow List has remained accessible only to the lineage of Guardians—a forbidden law that now appears to have been shattered by this ethereal intruder.

Watching as Zhou Youwei begins to tamper with the stele, the elder shudders in disbelief. She lifts a graceful hand, and with a slight motion of her fingertips, her own name—Zhou Youwei—materializes in the inaugural position of the Mystic Yellow List. A faint smile plays on her lips upon seeing the characters etched into existence. Having secured this, she vanishes as suddenly as she arrived, leaving the elder completely dazed, his Dao Heart wavering.

“Who is she, to command such authority as to alter the Mystic Yellow List?” the elder wonders, trembling in doubt. He promptly begins to record the day’s events to transmit to the Guardians, for in an instant, the name Zhou Youwei has sent tremors throughout all of Xuanhuang. The woman herself, however, considers the act a mere trifle, continuing her journey across mountains and rivers until she reaches the familiar borders of Daozhou. A deep sense of longing washes over her; this is the land of her kin, the people who hold the greatest significance in her life. Finally, she has come home.

Here lies White Dragon Gully, a place named for the legend of an ancient, fallen white dragon whose body formed the winding, splashing waters of the ravine. Ye Ling’er has brought Ning Fu here for a respite, and they unexpectedly encounter Zhou Bingyi, who happened to be training nearby. The three girls decide to travel together. Upon realizing that Zhou Bingyi is blind, Ye Ling’er is initially skeptical, suspecting a ruse, but upon confirming the reality of the situation, she welcomingly includes her in their activities. The three youths quickly find common ground, though in truth, Ye Ling’er and Zhou Bingyi engage in constant, playful bickering.

Watching from a distance, Zhou Youwei smiles warmly. “Sister?” Zhou Bingyi suddenly pauses, her gaze flickering toward the distance. Despite her blindness, she senses a unique aura. It is not entirely pure—mingled with another presence that makes it difficult for her to confirm if it is indeed her sister, Zhou Youwei.

“Huh? Sister-in-law!” Ye Ling’er cries out, leaping into the air upon clearly identifying the figure. “Bingyi, Ling’er,” Zhou Youwei descends, speaking in a soft, melodic tone. Overwhelmed with emotion, Zhou Bingyi rushes toward her, grabbing her hand as tears well in her sightless eyes. “Sister, is that really you?” Ye Ling’er also pouts, her own eyes reddening. “Sister-in-law, you finally came back!” Zhou Youwei sighs contentedly, embracing both of her sisters. Nearby, the young girl Ning Fu observes the flawless beauty, thinking, ‘So, this is Ye Xuan’s wife...’

Suddenly, Ning Fu senses a change in the atmosphere and turns to see a black dot rapidly expanding in the sky. In the blink of an eye, it manifests as a youth in black robes. Recognition crosses the boy’s face as he arrives. “Ye Xuan,” Ning Fu murmurs. The three sisters, previously locked in their emotional reunion, turn to look. “Brother!” “Brother-in-law!” both Ye Ling’er and Zhou Bingyi cheer. It is Ye Xuan, having arrived from the Dao Chu Ancient Land.

Ye Xuan’s eyes lock solely onto Zhou Youwei, his expression a complex tapestry of emotions. He had intended to seek out Ye Ling’er and Ning Fu, never expecting to find Zhou Bingyi here—even less expectant of Youwei’s arrival. Zhou Youwei meets his gaze with a faint smile, her voice soft and teasing: “Does my husband no longer recognize me?” At these words, Ye Xuan’s lips curve into a smirk. He understands. She has truly returned. Almost immediately, he adopts a stern expression, snorting coldly: “Who gave you permission to return? You seemed quite determined when you walked away before.”

“Brother, why are you being so difficult?!” Ye Ling’er exclaims, her frustration mounting. Seizing the moment, Zhou Bingyi pulls on her and Ning Fu, announcing, “Ye Ling’er, didn’t we plan to visit Flood Dragon Ridge? Let’s go, Xiao Fu, I hear there are many land flood dragons there to see.” Despite Ye Ling’er’s protest, the group departs, leaving Ye Xuan and Zhou Youwei in silence. Ye Xuan lands on the earth, eyeing his wife with forced indifference. Zhou Youwei giggles at his stubborn demeanor.

“You still find this amusing?” he frowns. Stepping closer until she is half a head shorter than him, she gazes into his eyes and pulls him into a gentle embrace. “Husband, I apologize,” she whispers. The stern facade Ye Xuan had prepared to maintain cracks, his lips twitching into a sigh: “It is fine, as long as you do not depart once again.” “I will not leave,” she whispers back. “Since you are staying, we are returning to Emperor Peak immediately!” Ye Xuan grins, his grip tightening as they vanish from the site. They reappear in the intimacy of her old boudoir. “No!” Zhou Youwei protests, flushing as she releases him, “Even if I have returned, I am still Hong Yao, and our essences are still intertwined. I must remain cloistered in the Heavenly Sea; I cannot be distracted.” Ye Xuan raises an eyebrow at this declaration, a brilliant, knowing smile forming on his face. “Isn’t that even better?”
