Kaden sought passage through a dangerous portal to the Elemental Garden, claiming he needed to retrieve a friend's family. Storm Master Natasha, intrigued by his bravery and loyalty despite the peril, agreed to let him pass but proposed a bet: he must return alive with proof of his survival, or face death. Kaden confidently accepted, believing in his ability to return, and entered the portal.

Klaus lay relaxed in Ember’s arms, her hands brushing over his toned abs. His head rested between her soft breasts, providing a pleasant pillow for him.

It had been a full day since he arrived on Planet Nexarion. So far, he had accomplished two things. The first was reuniting with Nyrela and setting her on the path of True Awakening as both an Asura and a Starlight.

She had been in her cocoon for hours already, and judging by the aura surrounding it, it wouldn’t be long before she emerged.

The second was reuniting with Ember, whom he had no idea harbored such deep feelings for him. But she did, and now, seeing how happy she had become, Klaus knew it had all been worth it.

They had spent a couple of hours making out, even Klaus managing to cultivate Celestial Qi. So, all in all, they had become much closer, and perhaps soon, they would become even closer.

But while all this was happening, Klaus witnessed everything that transpired between Kaden and Pickle Berry. They shared the same mind, so he knew what Pickle Berry wanted and why Kaden didn’t hesitate to go to the Elemental Garden.

He had been observing everything from start to finish.

Up until that moment, he had seen, sensed, and heard everything. However, the instant Kaden entered the gateway, everything went silent. It was almost as if he had lost contact with a part of himself.

He had no idea what had happened or whether his incarnation was still alive. But for now, he had lost every form of connection to that incarnation.

Despite feeling as though a part of himself had gone missing, he didn’t panic. Many would have, but not Klaus, at least not when he could still sense that his soul was whole.

That was a sign that his incarnation was still alive somewhere far beyond his reach.

’Godspeed to myself, I suppose,’ he smiled before asking,

"What can you tell me about the Elemental Empress?"

Ember pulled her hand away before gently turning Klaus’s head to the side so she could get a better look at him.

"Why do you ask?"

"I just want to know before confronting her over the past transgressions of her race."

Ember didn’t answer immediately.

She first tried to make sense of what Klaus had said, and when she did, her eyes widened slightly.

She knew what had happened between the Asura Race and the Elemental Race, so asking such a question could only mean one thing: he wanted to go there, and he was trying to determine whether he should go in with force or approach things more formally.

"She is a Pseudo-Primordial like me, but with four elemental affinities. She is one of the few beings with mastery over so many elements, so you can already imagine how powerful she is. But aside from her lineup of elemental affinities, just like me, she also grew up on the Ancient Battlefield, rising through its ranks.

At one point, she was even my rival on the Ancient God Chart. However, after the previous Empress was killed by the Elemental Alliance, led by the Dual Elemental Serpent Race, she left the Ancient Battlefield and became the next Empress."

"Sounds like she is a decent warrior," Klaus said, and Ember nodded.

"She is one of the best warriors in the universe. However, she is power-hungry. Her lust for power sometimes makes her take questionable actions. But aside from that, she is a good person, at least when the welfare of her people is concerned."

"I see." Klaus took a deep breath and absorbed everything Ember had said. For now, he wouldn’t make much noise over the matter. But if one day he managed to go there, he would evaluate her character for himself.

For now, he knew her as a formidable warrior and as someone who had sent thugs after his little sister, Pickle Berry. He couldn’t simply ignore that when assessing her character.

Just as he was about to delve deeper, he sensed a much stronger wave of Blood Qi emanating from the cocoon housing Nyrela.

"Looks like she is coming out," Klaus said before standing up, his body fully covered even before he was completely on his feet. Ember did the same. They quickly made their way to where the red cocoon stood.

On its surface, a large crack could be seen, oozing an incredibly potent Blood Qi. It appeared Nyrela’s awakening had come much faster than Klaus had anticipated.

This meant his Star Monarch Bloodline had become much stronger now.

A few minutes after they arrived, the crack widened, and even more Blood Qi poured out of it. A few minutes later, another crack appeared, and before long, the first chunk of the cocoon broke away and fell to the ground.

It took only a few more seconds for the rest to collapse, revealing a breathtaking beauty. Compared to before her awakening, she was now far more beautiful.

She had red hair that cascaded down her back, flawless pale white skin, sculpted facial features, and a slender physique. Like every Asura, she had red eyes, and the aura surrounding her was of the blood attribute.

Nyrela was clad only in a simple red gown that perfectly accentuated her figure. She had entered as a beauty and emerged as an even more beautiful version of herself.

Beyond her appearance, she was now a Supreme King, and Klaus, who knew her true nature, could sense a connection between them so deep that he would probably regret it for the rest of his life if she were to die.

Nyrela was a Starlight, one of the nine he would depend on to unlock all nine Paragon Stars and finally become aware of his true mission in this universe.

She was now a formidable warrior, and looking at her, Ember couldn’t contain her joy.

She knew her daughter had now become an Asura, with memories of a life in which she had a different mother and a brother. Despite that, she still hugged her, knowing she was still her daughter.

After hugging her for a few minutes, she pulled back.

"Congratulations on your awakening, Nyrela."

Klaus smiled, and Nyrela responded,

"It is all thanks to you, my Lord. I feel complete and much stronger now."

Klaus nodded with a smile.

"That is certainly true. You have no flaws now, and on top of that, you are an Asura and a Supreme King. Basically, you have all the qualities needed to become one of the most powerful warriors in the universe."

The power coursing through her body now was simply too overwhelming to comprehend.

Regardless, she was now both an Asura and a Starlight who could already sense her connection to the Paragon Star.

"So, can you feel the Paragon Star now?" Klaus asked, and Nyrela nodded.

"Yes. I can sense it, but I will need a day or two to fully establish my link with it. I will begin as soon as possible and complete the process so I can allow you to ascend and become a god."

Klaus nodded.

"Take your time."

A couple of minutes later, she sat in a lotus position and began working to establish a much deeper connection with the Paragon Star to which she was linked.

Meanwhile, Ember dragged Klaus back to the pool.
