The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse Chapter 1645: Reincarnated Friends (6)

Miguel walked out of his cocoon as a barbarian, deadly lightning snaking across his muscular physique, an enormous axe resting on his shoulder.
At first glance, he looked more like a demon than a barbarian, considering he was one of the few barbarians blessed with horns.
During the Divine Era, he had been one of the Seven Generals who served directly under the Barbarian Queen. He fought in the Divine War and fell like a true barbarian, going out in a pool of blood and shattered metal.
Knox had personally witnessed him cut down three gods with a single swing of his axe. So, as he stepped out of the cocoon now as a True Supreme, Klaus couldn’t help but wonder whether he would have dared mess with him back on Earth had he known they shared such a past.
’Probably. After all, he was one of the hateful bastards who fanned the flames that led to my beatdown at the hands of the Barbarian Queen.’
Miguel possessed long, braided blue hair and a striking jawline that framed his face perfectly, giving him an exceptionally refined barbarian appearance. His blue eyes crackled with lightning, and his seven-foot stature forced Klaus to look up, only to be greeted by the smug smile plastered across his face.
"Finally, I can crush you like a bug, Klaus," Miguel said, looking down at him.
Klaus grinned in return.
"Are you sure about that, though?"
He released a few strands of the Blood and Flame Dao that Rhazor had awakened, causing Miguel’s eyes to narrow before he let out a scoff.
"How infuriating."
Klaus laughed.
"It is only natural, Miguel. After all, I have already seen what you were capable of before, and now that you’re hundreds of times stronger, you can accomplish far more than you ever could."
Miguel nodded.
"I understand... and thanks for restoring my power."
Klaus nodded before handing him the two techniques he had prepared.
Afterward, he welcomed the next friend.
Just like Mark, Jason also emerged with a gale of wind surrounding him. However, instead of razor-sharp currents, his was cloaked in an eerie mist of darkness, the kind that only true assassins possessed.
Jason had been Klaus’s friend during the Renegade Era and one of the very few people he genuinely respected back then. His combat knowledge was second to none.
No matter how well protected someone was, if Jason wanted them dead, he would find a way to make it happen. Perhaps that was one of the reasons he had become friends with Klaus—the only person he had failed to kill despite making three separate attempts.
He possessed short, wavy purple hair, purple eyes, and an athletic human physique. Standing at just 6’4", he held two short spear-like weapons firmly in his hands.
When he stepped out of the cocoon, radiating the aura of a True Supreme, he gave Klaus a long, scrutinizing look before a smile slowly formed on his face.
"No matter how hard I try, you always seem to stay one step ahead, Monk," Jason said, referring to the title Klaus had once been known by.
After all, Klaus had been the Renegade Monk.
Klaus smiled and placed a hand on Jason’s shoulder.
"Good thing you knew when to stop. If you had pushed things too far back then, I would have put you down permanently."
Jason merely shook his head as he accepted his techniques.
"You’d better grow stronger quickly because, believe it or not, I have even more hidden trump cards now. You wouldn’t want me surpassing you."
Klaus burst into laughter, the sound echoing throughout the royal garden and reaching everyone who had been paying attention to their reunion.
"Rest assured, Jason," Klaus replied with a confident smile. "I won’t disappoint your expectations."
Jason nodded, smiled, and sat down to begin cultivating the techniques Klaus had given him. He was a peak True Supreme, but he would have no issue taking on a Celestial.
BOOOOM!
Suddenly, a thunderous boom came from Danny’s cocoon, accompanied by a dense, powerful surge of energy that made Klaus and his friends tense.
"Hahahahaha, finally, the true Titan King has awakened!" Danny burst into resounding laughter, then a deadly blow struck the cocoon, shaking the entire planet.
BANG!
"Hey, you muscle brain, do you want to destroy the planet?" Klaus shouted at Danny, who stood 5 meters tall, a large axe resting on his shoulders.
He was bare-chested, showing off his refined Titan physique and murderous killing intent mixed with his light element.
His golden hair fell down his back, and his crazy crimson eyes scanned the bugs below, causing Klaus and his pals to feel as though they were being looked down upon.
He was now a True Supreme with a much denser aura.
During the Blood Era, when the Asura Race reigned supreme, one of their greatest allies was the Titans. The Asura King and the Titan King were the best of friends.
When the Blood Race was attacked by the Heavens Court, he and thousands of his warriors came to their rescue. Later, when the battle reached a dire strait, the Asura King commanded them to retreat.
During their retreat, they were ambushed by the Elves, who had sided with the Heavens Court. In his bid to save the lives of his warriors, he used his own life to shield them before sending them away.
Before he died, he cast a spell that sealed away the Titans for an entire era. Perhaps now that he was back, if he learned that his people had rejoined the Heavens Court, he would be pissed.
"Tiny humans," Danny said, then reduced his height to 7’2" and walked crazily toward Klaus, who knew he wouldn’t be hugging him a second time.
"Stand right there, Danny," Klaus stopped him before he could get any ideas.
"You are no fun, Klaus," he slouched, then turned and looked at Miguel and Daniel. "Barbarians, you bastards sure know how to act smug before a True Titan King."
Daniel smirked. "Being tall and muscular just makes you a bigger target, Danny. I may be small before you, but bringing you down is as simple as hammering hot metal."
"Say that again, Daniel. I have always wanted to wipe the smug look off the faces of those overgrown golems. I guess I will have my chance now."
Danny narrowed his eyes at Miguel. "What did you just call me?" he asked, growing a few inches taller.
"Overgrown golem," Miguel, who knew how much the Titans hated being called that name, repeated, hoping for a battle.
As expected, a shadow was cast over him, and the next second, an axe bathed in golden light arrived before him.
However, before he could make a move, a hand appeared before him and caught the blade in one fluid motion.
"Chill, Danny. You and I both know winning against them would be simple. But wait until we leave this planet before you do that."
Miguel and Daniel narrowed their eyes upon hearing what Klaus said. Noticing their expressions, he smiled.
"Danny was the Titan King, you know. Someone like him was beyond monstrous, so for future reference, never antagonize him, or I am afraid he would squash you like bugs."
"He can’t possibly be that powerful," Mark said from the side.
"I am afraid he has that much power. He was one of the few body cultivators I know who had reached the Perfect Body Realm in every stage of body cultivation."
"No way," Daniel and Miguel exclaimed in unison, their eyes widening.
Danny smirked, becoming even more smug. However, before he could bask in his glory, a wave of bone-chilling killing intent erupted from Kilian’s cocoon, and everyone on the planet tensed.
