Klaus made a deal with Crux, a Blood Eye Hawk, after learning that the nest is ruled by four God Beasts who were alerted to their arrival and are preparing a hunt. He discovered this trap was set by the Heavens Court. Klaus then introduced Crux to his team and questioned Princess Evren's trust in them, given the impending danger.

Knowing a trap lies ahead is one matter; willingly stepping into it is another. Yet, it pales in comparison to blundering into an unforeseen snare, its true extent unknown. Despite meticulous planning, accounting for every variable is an impossibility. In essence, when one walks into an unknown trap, the cost invariably overshadows any potential gain, a bitter lesson Klaus had learned on multiple occasions. He had experienced victories and suffered defeats. Still, no matter his efforts, he always faced significant losses in the end, even when triumphing. Perhaps it was his 9th incarnation, which concluded with him falling into a treacherous trap that claimed hundreds of thousands of his friends and family, that ignited the smoldering anger beneath his surface.

The Jade Princess, upon hearing Klaus’s sharp words, knitted her brows. No one, not even her own mother, had ever dared address her in such a manner. However, faced with their current perilous situation, she was compelled to acknowledge the gravity of their circumstances. "Are you certain, Renegade Hunter?" Omen inquired, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "I am deadly serious, my friend, and you may call me Klaus. Crux informed me that we have all unwittingly entered a slaughterhouse, and soon, we will be completely surrounded. Naturally, I have no intention of dying, so I intend to fight back." "But how? Based on the information provided, this Nest should not harbor any gods. So, how can there be four gods present?" Princess Evren questioned, revealing more detailed knowledge of the Nest than Klaus and his companions possessed. Klaus turned his gaze towards her, a smirk playing on his lips. "I suspect the ones who disseminated that information were from the Heaven’s Court," he stated. She offered a nod in agreement. "Ah, how self-evident," Klaus mused, a deeper contempt for the heavens welling within him. However, since he intended to infiltrate them and uncover their secrets, he suppressed his animosity. His utmost desire was to avoid any suspicion of harboring hatred towards the Heaven’s Court. "They were mistaken, Princess. There are indeed four gods here, and I intend to confront them for a candid discussion. As for the true danger lurking within this place, you will come to understand it in the weeks ahead." "So, are you implying the gods are not the primary concern?" "Oh, they are a concern. I merely meant that the genuine peril is about to reveal itself, and by that time, if you have not already escaped this place, it will be too late for you." Crux cleared her throat. "Actually, all escape routes have been sealed. Some are obstructed by powerful demigods, so unless the main gate is opened, no one can depart from here." "Ah, then we must all strive diligently to survive; otherwise, we might as well be considered dead." Princess Evren glanced at her four teammates, a wistful sigh escaping her lips. They were utterly incapacitated, signifying they would be out of commission for the foreseeable future. Her original mission to locate the Jade Pendant was now an impossibility. Turning away from them, she shot a venomous glare at Crux, who merely smirked and averted her gaze. "Klaus, do you have a plan?" Rory asked, a trace of worry in her voice. "As a matter of fact, I do," Klaus replied. He extended his hand, and the demon bead materialized. "My intention is to store all of you within this artifact, and then, with Crux guiding the way, I will proceed to confront the god whose domain we currently occupy. If I succeed in securing her cooperation, our chances of escaping this place will significantly improve. If not, then all of you will have to pray for a swift demise." Klaus let out a laugh, causing Rory and the others to frown. "Be serious, Klaus." "I am being entirely serious, everyone. In a few weeks, an all-out war will erupt. The encouraging news, however, is that the suppression holding you all at the True Immortal stage will be lifted. The unfortunate news is that your adversaries will be demigods and gods. I will exert my utmost effort to level the playing field, but you must prepare yourselves for a deadly conflict, one that may very well be your last, or perhaps, your inaugural life-and-death struggle." Rory attempted to voice an objection, but Klaus offered her a subtle nod. His intended actions would further showcase his paragon nature, and thus, he wished for them to be elsewhere. If she insisted on remaining by his side, the others would undoubtedly protest as well. Consequently, she too nodded, although she detested the notion of not being beside him; for the greater good, she had to suppress her concerns and adhere to his plan. "Do not worry, my love. I will be unharmed, so ensure they do not cause any disturbances once inside the bead," Klaus conveyed to Rory through their shared connection. "Alright," she responded with a nod. Klaus approached Princess Evren and collected five vials of Immortal Essence water. "Take one for yourself and distribute the remainder to your teammates. This will significantly expedite your recovery. Once I secure an alliance with one of the gods, I will release you so we can discuss the purpose of your presence here." She found no reason to object, so she gratefully accepted his generous offer and stored the vials away. Klaus then conjured the portal that led into the Demon Bead. "Very well, it is time to depart." Rory gestured for Omen, Slate, and Echo to enter. After they had gone inside, the Jade Princess assisted her people in entering before she, too, stepped through.

Rory moved towards Klaus, first planting a kiss upon his lips. "Be careful, alright."

He gave a nod, and she then stepped through the portal. Klaus promptly sealed it and put it away. He then turned his attention to Crux.

"Lead the way."

She acknowledged his command with a nod and ascended into the air. Klaus followed close behind her.

A brief moment later, he voiced a query, "What was the God Beast you served like?"

[Somewhere within the Jade Nest]

A team of five assassins stood atop the slain form of a colossal elephant beast, their masked gazes fixed upon a structure approximately 300 meters distant.

"It has taken longer than we initially expected, but we have finally arrived," remarked the assassin wearing the green mask, his eyes narrowing slightly. "I wonder if the others have also succeeded in reaching their respective destinations."

"We shall know soon enough," responded the assassin in the blue mask, her dagger dripping with a viscous, blue-hued blood. On the ground below, a crimson pool was spreading from the myriad wounds inflicted upon the beasts they had vanquished.

"We should expeditiously break the seal so that we may divert our full attention to eliminating the Renegade Hunter and the 7th Jade Princess."

For a short period, silence permeated the air, with no one speaking as they allowed the gentle breeze to wash over them.

The assassin adorned in the red mask then inquired, "Will we not become prime suspects once the Heavens Court discovers our involvement? I mean, they seem intent on recruiting him into their ranks, so wouldn't his demise spark an internal conflict?"

"That is not our concern. Our employer reports to a human king who has ties to the Heavens Court. He has guaranteed our safety, thus we should perform our duties diligently, accept our payment, and depart." The assassin in the Black Mask, who seemed to be their leader, stated this, and the others concurred with nods.

"Excellent. Let us break the seal then." In the very next second, they launched into action.

In separate locations, three other teams were also drawing near to the other seals that had confined the Corrupted Heaven warriors for the past million years.

Within a few days, widespread chaos and destruction would erupt, leaving Klaus, whose time was rapidly dwindling, with no alternative but to unveil his strategy, a gambit that would either lead to his downfall or his ultimate ascent.

After three hours of flight, Klaus and Crux halted their journey as they neared a massive tree trunk that had been ingeniously transformed into an elegantly designed residence.

Even from a distance, he could distinctly feel the terrifying aura of the god beast intently fixed upon him.

"Here we go,"
