Klaus and his team fought through numerous dangerous beasts within the Jade Nest, barely surviving some encounters. After a particularly draining battle that injured Omen, Klaus used his understanding of several laws to escape. They managed to defeat seven beasts, earning Klaus and Rory additional immortal rings. Facing a powerful half-step demigod beast blocking their path to the Immortal Pool, Klaus, seeing his teammates' exhaustion, decided to handle it alone. Using an SS-class Lightning Gun and his lunar crescent blades, Klaus created thousands of illusions to confuse the beast before landing a decisive blow, defeating it and allowing them to proceed.

Although Klaus presented a composed and formidable front after vanquishing the three-headed lion, the exertion required drained his Void Essence reserves and necessitated the sacrifice of two cores simply to gain a decisive advantage.

The creation of his clones was a straightforward matter; he had long since mastered this technique, and his unknown bloodline granted him the ability to deploy them extensively without significant strain. This aspect, therefore, posed little challenge.

However, the true difficulty lay in sustaining the main body's life force as the lion relentlessly destroyed his clones.

He was not reckless.

Klaus was acutely aware that the lion could readily pinpoint the location of his clones. Upon doing so, finishing him would be as simple as unleashing a single devastating beam.

Consequently, he utilized the Void Law to fortify his primary form. By employing two cores, he orchestrated a vastly expanded and intricately detailed illusion, ensuring that the main body and all its clones shared identical vital signatures.

Signatures for heat, energy, and even breath were meticulously replicated.

This ruse temporarily cornered the lion, creating the crucial window he needed to execute his plan.

Yet, the continuous reinforcement of his clones with additional duplicates, the augmentation of these new arrivals, and the constant need for evasive maneuvers, swapping with a clone just moments before an attack landed, consumed far more effort than anticipated.

'A fortunate thing I possess a vast mind. Without the Hivemind, my fragile consciousness would have surely fractured under such immense pressure,'

Klaus exhaled, his vision catching the expressions of bewildered astonishment on his teammates' faces.

He remained silent, merely clasping Rory's hand as they progressed towards the immortal pool.

The preceding battles had significantly depleted his energy reserves. Therefore, his immediate objective was to reach the Immortal Pool’s vicinity and, if feasible, absorb some of the Immortal Essence water to replenish his strength before embarking on the main mission.

Fortunately, after a few minutes of travel, they halted atop a cliff. In the distance, a cave was visible, from which a brilliant golden luminescence radiated.

Icon conducted a thorough scan of the area, detecting no immediate threats. With the all-clear, they advanced, soon finding themselves at the entrance of the cave.

Klaus entered first. The instant he crossed the threshold, a powerful surge of potent energy flowed into his body, suffusing his soul with a profound warmth.

<Immortal Energy has been discovered>

<The Nine Star Paragon Diagram has activated and is absorbing the Immortal Energy.>

<The ????? Energy has activated and is absorbing the Immortal Energy>

Klaus blinked several times, sensing his depleted cores actively drawing in energy. His cultivation had already reached the peak True Immortal stage, and Icon had placed it under seal until the conclusion of this mission and the subsequent one. However, while his primary cultivation was restrained, the same did not apply to his other incarnations.

Kaden had temporarily suspended his training and was now seated in a meditative lotus posture, absorbing the potent energy that permeated his being. His cultivation stood at the zenith of the True Immortal stage, granting him the freedom to attempt a breakthrough to the Immortal King stage.

The same held true for Orion (the Paragon body). He had already departed for the Beast Universe and was traversing the Dark Universe channel when this event transpired. Thus, he emerged from the spatial conduit and commenced his absorption, with Maud providing protective cover.

Fortuitously, even if he were to achieve a breakthrough and incur the heavens' wrath, his location would remain undetected, as he found himself in an isolated region within the human Universe.

Rhazor had also emerged from the Space Channel and begun absorbing the energy. The prospect of him advancing to the mid-level Immortal King stage, or perhaps even high-level, before Klaus exhausted his reserves was an appealing one.

Klaus let out a soft sigh and adjusted his gaze to the cave's interior. It was then that his eyes fell upon a substantial pool brimming with golden energy.

"Wow, that's an incredible amount,"

By this point, he had advanced sufficiently far, allowing his teammates to follow him inside. As their eyes focused on the golden pool, astonishment dawned on their faces.

"Could that be the Immortal Essence water?" Echo inquired, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

"No, this is merely Immortal Energy. I surmise that an entity beneath the pool is generating this essence. Once its output ceases, the water will revert to its usual blue hue, and another million years will pass before it regains its potency."

"Oh, so where is the Immortal Essence water we journeyed for?" Slate questioned. In response, Klaus gestured forward.

"It resides over there. For the time being, you four should harness this energy to recuperate your strength. I shall proceed to gather the Immortal Essence water and rejoin you shortly."

They acknowledged his words with nods and proceeded towards the pool, stepping into its depths. Then, venturing a bit further, they sat down and commenced their absorption of the essence.

Wasting no time, Klaus moved in the direction from which he detected the strongest energy signature. After a few moments of walking, his gaze landed upon a smaller cavernous opening at ground level, filled with a dark, golden-hued energy.

"Immortal Essence water... and far more than I had anticipated."

Drawing nearer, he knelt beside the small reservoir of Immortal Essence water, its contents captivating his gaze.

’Over three hundred million drops...’ A wider grin split his face. The immense value of Immortal Essence water was a fact he knew well, and witnessing such an untouched, energy-radiating quantity ignited a potent greed within him.

Nevertheless, this turn of events was for the better. He swiftly retrieved a glass bottle, and with a mere flick of his wrist, the Immortal Essence water began to pour into it.

In just a few short moments, nearly every last drop had been collected. He sealed the bottle and entrusted it to his soul sea, a far more secure repository than any mere space ring.

Extending his hand, ice materialized, subsequently shaping itself into several small containers. These then transformed, first into glass, and finally into jade.

Klaus expertly manipulated the ice element to fashion the bottles, then employed his earth element to transition them into glass, culminating in jade.

Possessing a [High Affinity] for the elemental laws made the creation of such simple items relatively effortless. With a casual wave of his hand, the collected Immortal Essence water was meticulously divided into forty droplets, each flowing into its designated bottle.

Sealing them, he placed these precious vessels within his space ring. Afterward, he rose and rejoined his companions in the pool, all focused on absorbing the essence and recuperating.

A full day later, Orion, utilizing his Paragon body, successfully breached the Immortal King stage. Despite the passage of five minutes without any sign of a heavenly tribulation, Klaus observed with a smile, realizing that his invocation of the Law of Absolute seemed to be holding the heavens at bay.

He then recalled Karma’s earlier warning, fully aware that his transgressions would eventually demand a price. The moment the heavenly tribulation descended, he knew he would be in profound trouble.

For the present, however, his focus remained on absorbing the essence and assisting Kaden in achieving his breakthrough as well.

Efad, still unconscious before the Second Void Vortex, was unfortunately excluded from this significant event. He would undoubtedly be furious upon awakening to discover such a fortunate development had occurred in his absence.

Mere hours after Orion’s advancement, Kaden achieved his own breakthrough, and Rhazor even progressed to the medium-level Immortal King stage.

Klaus had also fully regained his strength, and the mysterious energy coalescing within his soul sea had reached an awakening of 47%...
