The Heavens Court convenes in a frantic effort to identify the source of the recent universal broadcast and the elusive Paragon behind it, but their investigation yields no concrete leads. Meanwhile, Klaus uses his new ability to shift identities to bring the captive Lord Varkos to Planet Virel. There, he fulfills his promise to Niva by allowing her to exact vengeance on the man who killed her friend. With the Heavens Court thrown into disarray, the Paragon begins his calculated campaign to dismantle their control and reclaim his legacy.

[One Week Later]

A full week had passed, and Heaven’s Court remained completely unable to uncover a single trail leading to the Paragon. It was as if he had emerged from the void, issued a grand proclamation, and then vanished into thin air, leaving no trace in the universe.

Regardless of how closely they scrutinized the situation, they could not fathom how such a feat was even possible.

If only they were aware that the man in question had retreated into deep meditation, refining his cultivation before setting out toward the Beast Universe.

His upcoming agenda involved reuniting with his Beast Army. Since the majority of them resided within the Beast Universe, he hoped to visit his parents again while simultaneously reactivting his forces.

This time, his objective was to ensure Heaven’s Court faced the consequences of their transgressions. Having already revealed his intentions, he was now carefully orchestrating his path, ensuring every detail was perfectly aligned so that when he finally launched his final strike, they would bitterly regret ever challenging him.

His overall strategy had evolved significantly, guided by the intricate plans Efad had laid out before his demise.

Meanwhile, the Blood Sword, who had emerged on Planet Djin, had departed just as hostile forces closed in. For the moment, he utilized Blue as his personal celestial chauffeur.

His target was a secluded planet, a sanctuary where he had often retreated to unwind after his various schemes.

Klaus understood the necessity of keeping a low profile, even while quietly bolstering his strength, as he intended to enter the Underworld Slaughter Tournament—despite failing to conclude the Blood Tournament exactly as intended.

Having secured an invitation, he was now focused on cultivation. Fortunately, he had a Supreme by his side to support him in areas where his own capabilities were limited.

Beyond that, he sought to reconnect with several women from his past. To his surprise, he learned they remained loyal, even after the way he had once treated them.

Many of these women had supported Blue previously, and he hoped to meet them again to offer apologies for his past actions.

Of course, securing the allegiance of such formidable figures early on would provide him with a massive strategic advantage.

The only one truly enjoying himself was the Renegade Hunter. He had spent the last few days with Rory, guiding her through the intricacies of how his Star Monarch Bloodline functioned.

He had not yet bestowed the bloodline upon her; he was merely preparing her for the upcoming transformation.

Periodically, he would consume her blood, finding it both potent and exquisite. After a few instances of this, his cultivation level surged unexpectedly.

Thanks to her essence, he had advanced to become a High-Level Early Immortal.

The situation regarding the Paragon hardly concerned him, as he felt he had everything under his command. His only current need was to maintain his strength, fuel the other incarnations, and proceed according to his master plan.

[Planet Stella]

"Mmmhhhh."

Rory let out a soft moan as Klaus sank his fangs into her chest, drawing blood with an intensity that suggested his very life depended on it. The blissful expression in her eyes revealed that she was enjoying the sensation just as much.

Their bond had deepened significantly over the past few days.

While they hadn't crossed the boundary of becoming intimate in the conventional sense, Klaus had made a concerted effort to reach inside her clothing. Now, beyond drinking from her neck or wrists, her chest had become his favorite place to feed.

With one hand supporting her, he pressed his lips against her, savoring every drop of vitality.

After roughly an hour, he withdrew, licking his lips as a deep blush spread across Rory’s face. She adjusted her clothing to shield herself, but Klaus brushed her hands away, exposing her once more.

"There is no reason to be shy, my dear." He cradled her face, peering directly into her gaze. "You belong to me now, so you might as well grow accustomed to it; this is going to be our life from this point forward."

He pressed a tender kiss to her forehead, causing her blush to deepen further.

"I... I have not technically agreed to your proposal yet."

"What about now?" Klaus playfully pinched her as he shifted, biting gently at her other side. The action elicited a gasp from the Immortal Lord, who still found herself baffled by how she had stumbled into this predicament.

"You see? I am yours and you are mine. Better prepare yourself to moan often, because I intend to take you to paradise soon."

She let out a resigned sigh, blushing deeply. "You realize I could shatter you into pieces, right?"

"I am fully aware, but that won't deter me from claiming you. I already carry Lord Victor's blessing, so you had best be prepared."

"You are so annoying." She pushed him onto his back.

She then leaned over him, her body pressed firmly against his chest. Despite playing hard to get, she inwardly admitted that escaping this infuriating man was an impossibility, so she decided to simply drift with the current.

Klaus sensed her resignation, and aside from his hunger for her blood, he refrained from forcing her into anything.

"When do you plan to visit your wives?" she asked abruptly.

"One of them is currently in seclusion, but the moment she emerges, I will set off." Klaus tilted his head, locking eyes with her. "Would you like to accompany me?"

She remained silent, but that omission told him everything he needed to know.

"Since we have reached this point, perhaps we should engage in intimacy to prime you for the journey ahead."

"No. I wish to meet your wives first. And do not get the wrong idea; I have not yet agreed to be numbered among your wives."

Klaus chuckled. "Oh? Then explain why someone who claims to refuse me is currently rubbing her thighs against my loins?"

Rory’s body stiffened, realizing she had indeed been caressing him.

"Don't stop. While I won't force you, I respect your agency. Even if you choose to pleasure me right now, I have no intention of taking you—unless, of course, that is eventually what you want."

She shut her eyes, clearly mortified. Yet, moments later, she resumed her movements. Klaus said nothing, choosing simply to relish the stillness of the moment.

Rory was an exquisite woman, the kind whose beauty would make even the gods falter. Her touch was enough to ignite any man's passions.

However, Klaus remained disciplined. Having vowed not to proceed without her full consent, he would hold firm regardless of temptation.

Someone like him, surrounded by dozens of wives, certainly understood the art of self-restraint.

She had never envisioned her life taking this turn, yet as she lay there against him, she struggled with the sensation that she had betrayed her own core principles.

Her lifelong ambition had been to rise as a powerful warrior to protect her father when his journey to the Forbidden Universe began.

Romance was never part of the plan. Finding herself in Klaus’s arms was a profound shock, yet the hatred she expected to feel was entirely absent. If anything, she found a strange sense of comfort resting against him. They remained there for several hours until Klaus finally drifted off to sleep.

Rory sat up, studying his features with a lingering gaze before a smile touched her lips. Her eyes inadvertently drifted to the heavy bulge in his trousers, causing her face to flush crimson once more.

After lingering for a few minutes, she chose to stay, curling up against his arm, and soon fell into a deep sleep as well.
