After the battle, the Ryujin Mansion operates efficiently while captured Dark Mages, including Azar and Gargi, are imprisoned and kept alive but not healed. Miri is sent to the Royal Palace, and the Montaire Family returns home. Davian struggles to contact Ocean, wrestling with his unacknowledged feelings for him and fearing abandonment. Meanwhile, Edrisyl celebrates the survival of its World Tree, though tensions remain between Pure Mana Elves and Dark Elves. Reina communicates with her Patrons about receiving the Seed of Life from the elusive Eternal Ascetic, finding a moment of peace despite the unresolved conflicts.

"It’s not the end though,"

Reina turned her head hearing the unexpected voice. A figure slowly materialised upon the balcony railing as though the evening breeze itself had gathered into human form. Silvery-blue robes fluttered lazily around the tall man while moonlight traced the sharp lines of his handsome face.

She narrowed her eyes, "Kin Caelthir... what are you doing here?"

Caelthir smiled, his eyes curving as he watched her fully.

"Hm... I came to see you... Now I guess it was the right thing to do."

He chuckled to himself.

Reina released a quiet sigh.

Kin Issyrha had been right after all. With nothing left in Sestia to amuse him, Caelthir had simply abandoned the kingdom and flown halfway across the world in search of something more interesting.

"How come you are in this state though?" He asked, "I can’t sense any mana from you, from afar I thought you were but a mere human child."

"You can’t feel my mana all around?" Reina asked and Caelthir smiled.

"I sure do," he said before tilting his head to glance at the new World Tree.

"Most of it is accumulated there."

Reina watched as Caelthir swung his leg back and forth and then looked at her.

"How did you acquire the seed and how were you capable of raising it? Apart from having the authority of Dragon God, it would have been life-threatening even for you."

Reina didn’t say anything for a long moment, she wasn’t allowed to reveal anything about the system or her Patrons to the dwellers of this world, including the Supreme Dragons. Caelthir had an inkling of the undercurrent of information but he also allowed it to be shrouded in mystery since Reina couldn’t outright tell him anything.

He observed her and then hummed.

"How long will you be in this state?" He asked.

"Five days approximately." Reina answered

Caelthir hummed thoughtfully, before he started, "You owe me two favours now."

Before she could ask why, Caelthir folded his arms with unmistakable satisfaction.

"There was a Chimera hiding inside your colosseum. Your humans failed to finish it off, so it escaped." He explained.

A proud smile graced his sharp and elegant features as he announced.

"I tracked it down, learned its name from the witnesses."

He paused deliberately.

"...and exorcised it."

Reina’s eyebrows jumped, she had known of the two conduits but the other two were uncertain so, she had done her most to unsure defense. She hadn’t expected the third conduit to appear in the colosseum.

So that was why Myrrdin and Lilith had become the final two conduits.

Reina’s thoughts settled as she looked back at Caelthir.

He was watching her expectantly, silver eyes sparkling with unconcealed pride like an overgrown child waiting to be praised.

"It would have been a disaster for your plan if I had let it slip by," he said.

Reina almost felt tempted to tell him that the Chimera hadn’t ruined her plans in the first place.

In the end, she decided against it, letting him believe he had saved the day would probably make him happier.

"Thank you, Kin Caelthir." Reina said and Caelthir’s eyes curved even more.

"Then, you acknowledge that I helped you and now you owe me twice."

Reina paused a little but then she simply hummed.

Caelthir’s eyes glowed, it almost looked like he was planning something annoying.

"What do you want?" Reina asked.

Caelthir hummed and told her his first demand which made her sigh, his words only reinforced her initial thought- he was here for entertainment.

"Fine," she agreed without any resistance and Caelthir grinned.

Time passed quietly as the moon climbed higher into the night sky.

Just as the conversation lulled into silence, three measured knocks echoed from the chamber door.

Reina turned toward it.

"It’s the Elf King," Caelthir said casually, before he used his wind magic to open the door.

Aelfric was surprised as the door opened in its own before he looked at the second presence beside Reina.

He entered the room and walked over to Reina before he bowed his head.

"Good evening, Lord Dragon, I hope you rested well and the accommodations were not lacking." He spoke politely before he sneaked a glance at Caelthir who also looked down on him from where he sat on the railing of the balcony.

"They’re fine, I slept well." Reina answered and then glanced at Caelthir.

Caelthir seemed to be a master in hiding his presence since even now, despite knowing Caelthir was sitting only a few paces away upon the balcony railing, Reina could barely perceive his presence. If she closed her eyes, he seemed no different from the evening breeze passing through the palace.

"This is Kin Caelthir, Supreme Dragon of Wind." Reina introduced.

Aelfric’s eyes went wide hearing that and he quickly lowered his head again.

"I apologise for my rudeness, Lord Dragon, I didn’t realise it was you."

Caelthir hummed, "I didn’t announce my presence for that very reason."

Aelfric straightened up but didn’t meet either Dragon’s eyes, in just the span of a whole day and night he had not only been in the presence of one or two but now three of the seven Supreme Dragons who had stayed on earth to protect it. He couldn’t believe his fortune.

Reina reached out and Aelfric quickly placed his communication brooch in her small, pale hand.

"What are you doing?" Caelthir asked.

"I have a meeting,"

"Now?"

Reina hummed and Aelfric infused the mana stone with his mana.

The stone glowed softly and Reina spoke into it.

"Roan? Kai?" She called.

The sound of static and movement seeped through the mana stone and several voices responded at once.

"We’re here, Master!" Kai shouted.

"I’m here!" Remi announced.

"He’s here too!" Roan also simultaneously piped in.

Reina’s eyebrows twitched, she had told them multiple times to not speak all at once through the mana stone but considering how they had spoke all at once she wondered if there was something wrong.

"Why are you all shouting at once?" Reina chided.

"What’s that?" She heard father- Duke Arthur Aurelius gasp.

"Why did his voice sound like that?" Eric questioned.

"Master Ocean is that really you?" Grand Duchess Dahlia asked, concerned.

But it was the last voice that made Reina silent.

"Why do you sound like that, Ocean?"

Davian was there.

Reina could almost see Roan and Kai cowering, having failed to keep her instructions of not letting Davian be there.

"Master Ocean?"

"What’s wrong? Why is he quiet?"

"Master please tell us what happened there?"

"Are you all right? Why does your voice sound like that?"

Everyone started asking and Reina massaged her temples. Her voice was that of a young child right now so, it was unlikely that they would know if it was a young boy’s voice or a girl’s voice if she adjusted her tone a little.

"Master, why won’t you say anything?"

Reina sighed, "I’m fine."

There was a moment of silence and before they all could break into shocked exclamations she continued.

"I had to use up a lot of my mana here so, I am facing a little complication that’s all."

"What complication?" Rune asked.

Reina gave them a brief explanation of the situation at Edrisyl before she warned them.

"Don’t dare think of coming here, I’ll be back soon. But since I can’t be there right away, I wanted to get a report of the condition there."

The nobles on the other side of the globe were shocked, they hadn’t expected such a huge thing to have unfolded without their knowledge.

Silas and Marquis Fairisles exchanged a glance, they did feel the strange shift in the mana in air during the previous afternoon but they had no idea that Yggdrasil was burning at that moment.

Reina remained silent for a long moment, letting the huge piece of information settle in for them.

"The situation here isn’t too bad or too good," Rune started.

"The people are currently receiving help from Oasis Foundation and the nobles, it will take some time but before winter the reconstruction of the destroyed parts would be finished." Her father said.

"As for Princess Alys, she is willing to go before the nobles. We have let the rumors spread that she was being protected by the Mage’s Tower all this time that’s why nobody knew that she was alive." Marquis Fairisles said.

"The King has summoned me and Alys tomorrow." Silas said and then added with a tiny bit of softness in his voice, "she’s doing well so far."

"The individuals controlling the Undead and shifters were captured and are currently in the dungeons." Kai reported.

Dahlia who watched the men of Reina’s family quickly switch to business in an instant even after receiving such a groundbreaking news, couldn’t help but wonder if they cared of anything else at all.

"The situation is still stable because the people are currently more worried about themselves, but it won’t remain the same since there are rumours that the Queen was probably behind the siege. We need to think of something for that." Eric spoke.

Dahlia sighed as she realised it was her turn now, "We got a message from Frosthail, there were no traces of tracks of such a large number of shifters coming through that route. The repairing of the North Gate is in progress for now, but it seems it might take some time."

Lastly, all eyes briefly turned to Davian who had appeared behind her mother for this meeting on his own.

Kai and others had asked him to sit out but he had been adamant and hence he was there.

The other night, the black blob he saw was a raven that was sent by Kai to Grand Duchess informing her about this meeting. Davian found the raven’s arrival as a sign that probably Ocean had returned or there was some news about it. But then he was discontented as he wasn’t in on it, so, he observed his mother until he found her leaving for Ryujin mansion and then followed her.

Now that he watched the glowing mana stone sitting in the middle of the table, hearing Reina’s voice reduced to that of a child. He couldn’t help but feel his heart thudding in his chest, the whole ordeal that she had narrated was too huge and absurd that he wondered why nobody had asked the question he was dying to ask.

"When will you return? Are you hurt anywhere?" He asked.

"Approximately in 5 days and no, I’m completely fine." He received the answer, the voice so adorable and sweet that he was picturing Ocean’s young form in his head.

"Master, there is something that you should know," Kai spoke up.

"What is it?"

"The Queen’s lady-in-waiting, Miss Keira had been in our hospital last night and she told me something about the Queen’s last moments."

Reina’s eyebrows twitched hearing that, Keira was her mole in the royal palace who reported of Queen Katherine’s actions.

"What did she say?"
