The King’s Enchanting Chapter 1758 - 1772: Pregnancy Chronicles (7)

Although Xiaobao is quite mischievous, his albinism has been managed commendably. Furthermore, his autism has seen significant improvement alongside his destructive tendencies — while he's certainly a handful, he can now run, jump, eat, and sleep. In essence, he is healthy!
"Am I supposed to just stand here and let you hit me if I don't run? You're a terrible person, the absolute worst!" Xiaobao never held much fondness for Leng Yunting, and hearing his father's anger only fueled his own temper. Unintimidated by his father, he leaped up and playfully swatted Leng Yunting's head.
While a child's strike might not inflict pain, the crucial point is his age. So young, and already striking people? And his own father, no less?
Such insubordinate conduct must be rectified from an early age, otherwise, who can predict the future ramifications?
Moreover, what if he were to slip away unnoticed and encounter someone malevolent? What then?
This son, who wasn't present from birth and endured albinism and mild autism, perpetually suffered from frail health. Leng Yunting always cherished him dearly. Before father and son even reconnected, Xiaobao had been led to believe his father was a wicked individual and had even inflicted a stab wound, yet Leng Yunting never retaliated with anger.
But now, his behavior grows increasingly unruly, reaching a stage where discipline is imperative.
"Leng, Xiaobao!" Leng Yunting roared, his voice laced with fury as he raised his hand high.
"Leng Yunting!" Another voice interjected, not Xiaobao's, but Luo Qingxue's. She invariably regarded her son as the most precious thing in her life. Witnessing her husband about to strike their son, she rushed forward instantly and delivered a slap to Leng Yunting's head as well: "How dare you lay a hand on our son? Xiaobao is so young; if you dare strike him again, our relationship will face severe consequences!"
Leng Yunting's expression soured. He might dare strike his son, but not his wife, and his resolve instantly crumbled: "Qingxue, that is not how it happened. It's just that Xiaobao crossed the line. You have no idea what he did at kindergarten today!" He then proceeded to give a concise "report" of the day's events, his face still etched with pain: "I wasn't seriously considering hitting the child initially, but he persists in making the same errors! To make matters worse, he accessed the teacher's phone, obtained his personal files, and displayed them to all the attending teachers and students! If an adult were to commit such an act, it would constitute a flagrant violation of privacy! Should he not be instructed? He refused to admit his wrongdoing, and I only had him stand outside to reflect on his actions. Who could have foreseen he would manage to unlock the door and flee! Fortunately, Xingxing spotted him outside. What if he had wandered off and something untoward had occurred?"
Upon hearing Leng Yunting's account, Luo Qingxue paused momentarily, while Xiaobao stubbornly retorted: "That male teacher is always scolding me. Last time, he incessantly claimed I was disruptive during class and even banished me to stand outside the classroom! He is the one I despise the most!"
Hearing his explanation, Luo Qingxue finally declared: "Did you hear that? If this teacher had not acted inappropriately, would Xiaobao have behaved in such a manner? Our Xiaobao is the most sensible; this is entirely the teacher's fault!"
"That does not justify his actions!" Leng Yunting, now grasping the underlying context, did not harbor a favorable view of the teacher himself, but principles remained principles. Merely because he is young does not imply he should be indoctrinated with improper methods of resolution.
"Why not?" Luo Qingxue inquired coolly, her demeanor turning fierce: "My son shall not be subjected to bullying."
Her words left Leng Yunting utterly speechless. He then turned his gaze back to Xiaobao: "However, Xiaobao, what you did was indeed wrong."
