The Invincible Full-Moon System Chapter 1903: To The Last Drop of Blood (2)

Not far from the escalating chaos, a contingent of individuals swiftly navigated through the dense forest.
Gelmar, Vivian, and the Queen made their return to the Dark Elf Kingdom with rapid steps. En route, a corrupted wolf managed to intercept them, carrying a critical dispatch from Flunra. This message warned of an imminent danger hurtling directly towards Dargena City.
Every single kingdom falling under the Clarentium Empire's dominion was mobilizing to confront the encroaching horde.
Such unity was indeed a comforting thought.
And with the teleportation formations established across their territories, coordinating movements and managing logistics became significantly more straightforward. However, despite these assurances, the true threat originated from extraterrestrial powers—beings from another realm.
A sense of ease was a luxury they could not afford at this juncture.
"How can we possibly prepare when there isn't even enough time to do so?" Vivian voiced her concern, her thoughts spoken aloud.
Gelmar's lips remained firmly shut, as he too was at a loss for what actions to take.
It was at that precise moment a memory surfaced.
"No. We do have time," he stated, his gaze fixed forward as though piercing through the shimmering expanse of the forest. "Even if the horde manages to bypass the Dwarves—and Tigerman—it will still need to traverse two Dominions before reaching Dargena City. Not to mention the Humming Damned Forest lies in its path. There is still time."
Swish—!
A whistling sound permeated the air, reaching their ears.
Both Gelmar and Vivian looked upward, observing a resplendent green arrow slicing through the sky.
Noticing this, the Queen raised her hand, channeling dark nature energy into her palm.
Her channeled energy was detected by the arrow, which then descended and settled directly into her hand.
"What is that?" Vivian inquired.
"It's a message," Gelmar's eyes narrowed in recognition. He knew this was one of the long-range communication spells employed by the Elves during times of war. And judging by the golden fletching, the projectile's originator was undoubtedly Queen Shanaela. "It's from the Elven Queen."
The Dark Elven Queen carefully unrolled the parchment concealing the arrow and proceeded to read its contents.
Her expression immediately shifted to one of grave concern.
"Bad news," she announced as the message dissolved into nothingness. "The horde can breach the Dominions."
A few minutes later, the group successfully returned to the Dark Elf Kingdom.
Upon their arrival, a Dark Elf sentry approached them, relaying that King Jorik's extended period of seclusion had concluded. The breakthrough was successful, leading him to reach the next cultivation rank. However, he was in a state of panic, unable to locate the Queen anywhere. He was particularly distressed after hearing about Naela's predicament.
Consequently, the Queen was implored to return promptly.
Gelmar and Vivian, however, could not linger.
Given the critical lack of time for preparations, they needed to depart swiftly to reinforce Dargena City's defenses.
"Remain here," the Queen commanded, grasping Vivian's hand as the latter prepared to follow Gelmar.
"I must return," Vivian protested, her brow furrowed. "I have a duty there."
"Captain Gelmar can manage the capital city. I require your presence here."
"..."
Despite Vivian's profound confusion regarding the Queen's insistence on her staying, she ultimately decided to comply upon witnessing the stark seriousness reflected in the Queen's eyes. She was then led inside and escorted towards the castle.
"Escort her to Madam Qonvale," the Queen instructed.
"As you command, Your Highness," the Dark Elf knight acknowledged with a nod, subsequently gesturing for Vivian to follow. "This way."
"Explain the circumstances to Madam Qonvale," the Queen urged as she observed Vivian's bewilderment about the reason for this directive. "I am confident she can assist in averting the impending danger. I will confer with the King and ensure the army is prepared."
Vivian was guided through the grand hall, then turned into a secluded passageway.
Only the distinct scent of a single individual permeated the air.
"Through this door, directly ahead," the Dark Elf knight stepped aside, indicating a massive door that nearly reached the ceiling.
Trusting the Queen's assertion that Madam Qonvale could help resolve the crisis, Vivian did not hesitate, pushing the door open. She stepped into the expansive chamber, her gaze falling upon a figure standing across the room, gazing out of a windowless opening.
Specifically, at the fractured sky above.
Yet, she was blind—Vivian could discern this from the dark cloth wrapped around her eyes.
"Madam Qonvale, I am Vivian of the Silverstar Pack. I seek your counsel—we are facing grave trouble."
"I am aware."
Slowly, Madam Qonvale turned, elegantly clasping her hands over her stomach.
"The night lingers unnaturally long, a most unfavorable omen."
"Indeed. It is the Blood Moon. It has dispatched an invincible horde with the intent to annihilate Dargena City."
"My word, how dreadful," Madam Qonvale murmured as she moved towards a chair by the bed, seating herself with deliberate grace. "The Blood Moon certainly chooses an opportune moment for such actions. It is no wonder it can succeed with such devastation. And likely, it can accomplish much more."
"Pardon me?" Vivian's eyebrows drew together. "What is it that you mean by that?"
"The Demon God finds himself occupied by the sudden arrival of the Angels and their enigmatic new Deity. The Vampire race's Blood God is contending with the Abomin—" Madam Qonvale faltered, taking a brief pause before resuming with practiced ease. "—the prophesied Child growing within the Vampire Princess’s womb. Lately, the Undead and Dragon Gods have been quiescent. And the Shapeshifters’ ever-changing Deity is fully committed to guiding his people through the world’s great awakening."
Vivian regarded this information with surprise.
She was unaware that deities were being monitored to such an extent.
This revelation further solidified her conviction that Madam Qonvale likely possessed a solution to their predicament. "Do you have any means to halt the encroaching horde?" Vivian inquired, a flicker of hope igniting within her. "I have heard whispers that the Dark Elves maintain an adversarial relationship with the emperor. This situation presents an opportunity to alter that dynamic."
"The remedy we require is remarkably straightforward."
"We are contending with the Blood Moon, a deity steeped in lunar energy. How can this possibly be simple?"
"The fact that it is a deity is irrelevant."
"In that case, enlighten me on this method! Quickly, our time is dwindling!"
"My primary condition is that you pledge to me, once this crisis has passed, that you will convey a request to the emperor and ensure his compliance."
"Are you truly attempting to negotiate at a time like this?" Vivian’s gaze intensified, her fangs extending as she snarled in indignation. "Your kingdom teeters on the brink of annihilation—and you dare to exploit this critical juncture for your own gain? Choose your words with the utmost care. They could very well hasten the demise of your entire kingdom."
Madam Qonvale remained impassive.
She could perceive the growl, the unleashed anger, and the palpable frustration, yet she neither faltered nor yielded her position.
"Should the Blood Moon prevail, the Dark Elves will endure."
"Very well! I shall relay your request. Now, disclose to me the means by which we can repel this horde!"
Madam Qonvale allowed a subtle smile to grace her lips before rising and proceeding towards the exit. Halting beside Vivian, she murmured without turning her head, "Regardless of its divine status, this realm belongs to us. No deity has ever held dominion here, which is precisely why every high-ranking Supernatural race possesses its own unique God."
"Our sole recourse is to awaken the world and direct its collective gaze toward the source of this threat."
"What...?" Vivian spun around, her expression a mask of confusion. "What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, we intend to shatter the Blood Moon," Madam Qonvale declared, continuing her measured pace. "Follow me."
According to Madam Qonvale's explanation, the initial phase in repelling the seemingly unstoppable horde involved capturing the world's attention. To achieve this, a significant number of sacrifices would be required. However, it was not imperative for them to be sentient lives.
Mutated creatures or Order Beasts would suffice for this purpose.
Consequently, the entire military force of the Dark Elf Kingdom was mobilized for an extensive hunt.
Vivian also relayed this directive to Gelmar.
Even the forces stationed in Dargena City were deployed to join in this widespread pursuit. Gelmar went a step further, instructing the populace to deplete their food reserves, which consisted primarily of hunted game, and to transmit every last bit to the Dark Elves via the teleportation array.
It was a substantial undertaking, yet not a single individual voiced a complaint.
Indeed, everyone participated with immense fervor, driven by the collective desire to safeguard their city.
However, to their dismay, the initial consignment was rejected by the Dark Elf Kingdom.
"We require living sacrifices," Madam Qonvale informed Vivian. "Not deceased ones."
"Living sacrifices...? That will prove considerably more challenging to procure. Do we even possess the luxury of time for such an endeavor?"
"We shall gather what we can and place our faith in fortune."
"What? We need assurances, not mere hope! We cannot depend on chance. Is there no alternative strategy we can employ?"
"Hope is our most potent guarantee at this juncture," Madam Qonvale sighed, shaking her head. "If the horde is capable of breaching even the Dominions, what efficacy do you imagine our defenses would possess? None whatsoever. The world is our only viable option."
"Calm yourself. Breathe." Jarvald advised, placing a steadying hand upon Vivian’s shoulder. "Once we have identified and marked all designated targets, we will overwhelm them through sheer numbers. Securing mutated beasts will be far simpler under these circumstances. It will likely take minimal time to amass the required quantity."
"Gelmar and I will endeavor to subdue at least one or two Order Beasts," he added.
"Do you possess the capability to defeat an Order Beast?" Vivian inquired, clasping his hand. "Is such a feat even possible?"
"Under normal conditions, no. However, the Blood Moon looms directly overhead." He forced a hollow chuckle, striving to maintain a steady tone despite his heart hammering against his ribs. "If it comes to the absolute worst, I can allow myself to be overwhelmed by its might. Furthermore," he paused, grasping for a sliver of confidence, "while I cannot be entirely certain, I hold the belief that Lord Ryze may accompany us."
This news provided significant reassurance.
Vivian felt considerably more at ease.
At that precise moment, Jarvald detected someone signaling him, indicating it was time to depart.
He swiftly moved away, following the Awakened individual towards the location of an Order Beast.
Vivian inquired,
