The Invincible Full-Moon System Chapter 1871: Dream Realm

Left by herself to battle the Lunirich Gods, Adhara stood alone.
Evelyn and Gistella found it tough to accept, yet they understood this hit Rex even harder, and he uttered no complaints. That silenced them, forcing them to hold back their words.
Besides, as Rex pointed out, the deed was already done.
Arguing over it now served no purpose.
Deep inside, both knew this was precisely the Female Alpha's duty.
When the Alpha departs, safeguarding the pack falls to the Female Alpha—not them.
Adhara was carrying out her responsibility, so now they needed to handle theirs.
"Tell us what you require from us," Evelyn declared firmly. "For Adhara's sake, we'll handle anything."
"Anything," Gistella echoed with a firm nod, equally resolute.
Rex gave a nod before spinning around to gaze at the vast, empty stretch visible to the horizon.
Truth be told, he yearned to take Evelyn and Gistella along to the Primordial Meadow, but he recognized the impossibility. Not even he could assure his survival there, making it wiser for them to remain in the Silverstar Genesis.
Far safer here for them, plus he required assistance within this domain.
"Hold on, before I explain your tasks, I overlooked something," Rex glanced back over his shoulder. "Where's Kyran?"
Evelyn opened her mouth to reply, but he cut in swiftly.
"No more vagueness. He ought to be aiding you two, yet he's absent. Once more."
"It's... Naela."
Aware of Rex's occasional ruthlessness, even toward pack members, Evelyn sought to shield Kyran by hiding his actions. But with events unfolding like this, secrecy grew impossible.
She was compelled to reveal the facts.
"Naela...?" Rex rotated slowly once more; his motions intentional and measured.
"Please don't get angry," Gistella advanced, grasping his hand. "It's not his doing. Pure misfortune."
"What's happened to Naela?" He pressed, ignoring Gistella's plea.
"Recall that stranded Angel who reached her before?" Evelyn dodged his gaze while speaking. "That very Angel returned and approached Naela during her recovery. Kyran aided our conquest of the Scarlet Banes Kingdom but pulled back upon hearing the report."
"Is that the case...?" Rex cocked his head a bit.
Suddenly, the air turned icy cold, prompting Evelyn and Gistella to gulp nervously.
Despite Kyran's shortcomings, he strived hardest to better himself.
His commitment to embodying the strong, reliable man Rex envisioned shone through.
They refused to let this slip undo his efforts.
Moreover, battling under watchful eyes eager for the Clarentium Empire's errors proved challenging. Though their exit stayed hidden and merely days passed, danger had already breached their sanctuary.
"I heard the Angel extracted a rib from Naela—so show some understanding," Evelyn appended. "You'd respond identically if it targeted me, Gistella, or Adhara. He's merely guarding his beloved, which is natural."
"Hmm," Rex shifted to Gistella, stroking her cheek with his large palm. "And you? Are you upset with Kyran for skipping the fight? Remember, without my aid, you'd likely have perished."
"Ah," Gistella flashed a sweet smile. "It's fine. No anger from me."
Rex arched an eyebrow, prompting her quick adjustment.
"I mean, I won't claim zero anger. A little upset, sure, but no grudge. Realistically, he couldn't have aided us even if present."
"Alright, settled then," Rex faced forward anew. "You two seem okay with his choice, so I'll skip personal punishment. Kyran committed no wrong. Still, Evelyn, you must deliver him a fitting penalty."
"Is that truly needed?" Gistella queried anxiously.
But Evelyn grasped his reasoning, "It's for Naela's sake. Punishing him aids her. Naela's betrothal to Kyran ties the empire to the Dark Elves. If she seems a poor influence on him, she'll doubt her status and his stability.
"She's undoubtedly enraged by now," She sighed, shaking her head.
For once, she felt sorry for Kyran's naivety in these matters.
No matter Kyran's intent, Naela saw him abandoning the war effort just to visit her. With only a rib taken, she was safe, yet she'd blame herself if harm befell the others without him there.
She recognized Kyran as Rex's right-hand man.
His absence at the pack's direst need would surely incense Naela.
"Though unfortunate, the Angel's breach highlights paths for our foes to infiltrate." Rex refocused on the Silverstar Genesis. "Thus, no matter the effort or time, I aim to shift Dargena City here."
He extended his arms, envisioning Dargena City's core embedded in the Silverstar Genesis.
A domain under his total dominion.
Achieving that would slash his enemy roster dramatically.
Demigods or mightier alone could then threaten Dargena City.
"Here...?" Evelyn scanned the boundless void. "Feasible? Nothing exists—no food, no terrain, no inhabitants. Security improves, true, but folks would grow discontent and tense swiftly."
"And supposing we assist, where do we begin?" Gistella wondered.
Given Rex's time in the Spirit Realm and its perils, he might overlook their lesser strength compared to its denizens. Realm discussions never surfaced in the Mortal Realm.
Its inhabitants battled ceaselessly amid war, just to survive.
Currently, the Mortal Realm faced Order Beasts.
Rex, however, confronted Demigods and Gods.
He operated on a superior plane.
Yet she erred there.
"As mentioned, it'll demand massive labor. Key point: this realm remains fresh," Rex shrugged casually. He'd held this ability long but ignored it, leaving it essentially empty. "It can be shaped, birthing new elements. Ones rendering Dargena City's transfer viable.
"Do you sense it?" Rex fixed on the void gaps visible solely to him. "Do you perceive it?"
Evelyn and Gistella shared a glance.
At first, confusion reigned over Rex's reference.
Nothing registered for them in this space.
Yet gradually, as quiet lingered into a minute and concentration deepened, a presence emerged.
Sparkles danced in the atmosphere, ascending from the shallow waters like vapor—dissipating at roughly a hundred meters up. For Evelyn and Gistella, spotting these required intense focus.
Not so for Rex.
"Those sensations and sights are the crude divine strands this empty realm yields," Rex extended his hand, gathering sparkles into a swirling, dim orb. "Rough. Impure. Worthless for powering me or any being. The realm demands greater refinement.
"Then these strands evolve into genuine divine essence." He squeezed, dispersing the orb to its primal state. "Only then will marvels fill this place, rendering it livable."
Rex faced them once more.
A special smile lit his face, one saved just for them.
"Demigods linked to me alone can naturally temper this realm," Rex stated at last.
Comprehension dawned on Evelyn and Gistella.
As they'd recently discovered before the Lunirich Gods ravaged their world, they had ascended to Demigods. Both sensed the transformation, crediting Rex's advance—yet it stemmed from their own links too.
It was inherent to them.
Rex noted their expressions, deducing their awareness of Demigod status.
But its full implications eluded them.
Including their elevated potential.
He opted to offer a glimpse.
Swoosh—!
Rex channeled every ounce of his power.
Life energy, voidal energy, curse energy, moonlight energy, kingly energy, arcane mana—all of it.
A vibrant torrent fused perfectly, rocketing upward. This embodied his current might's peak. It also showcased the power now within their reach.
Mortal forms couldn't withstand such force.
Demigods could.
With willingness, no limit proved unbreakable.
A straightforward demonstration.
From Evelyn and Gistella's view, however, it dazzled.
As the vivid energies burst forth, their eyes widened in shock, breaths halting. A millennial Supernatural Phenomenon unfolded. Miles wide, shallow waters whipped into a colossal vortex swirling around Rex.
The heavens trembled under his influence.
Here, eyes beheld the energies, but minds reeled.
Should any Mortal Realm entity wield this, power equilibrium would crumble.
Even peak Order Beasts would struggle.
Evelyn blinked, locking eyes with Rex, seeking his thoughts.
"Rex, do you still yearn for that peaceful world?" She inquired, words heavier than anticipated. "Is cultivating this void realm driven by crafting that world, or by your pursuit of greater strength?"
A profound query.
One prompting Rex's reflection prior to response.
"Your question misses the mark, Evelyn. I'd say both," Rex withdrew his aura gradually, eyeing his palm. "All beings beyond mortal tiers possess or seek their own realm. All guard someone precious.
"The path demands strength and a private domain." He balled his fist, lifting steady eyes. "This will birth the dream world I envision. Power is essential to forge it."
Evelyn smiled at the unwavering resolve in Rex's tone.
Through all ordeals, his determination endured.
Rex glanced away from her grin.
Gradually, he pivoted toward the distant portal.
His crimson eyes, aglow, narrowed at an anomaly. Something absent. Invisible, imperceptible. Or so it should be—untraceable. Yet Rex detected it.
"Too avaricious, you scum," Rex whirled to confront the portal. "I see you..."
