The Hidden Extra: The Lazy Prince Refuses to Ascend The Throne Chapter 928 Elina vs. Kruch
Previously on The Hidden Extra: The Lazy Prince Refuses to Ascend The Throne...
Elina didn't know how to describe him. One thing was certain: Kruch was strange. He was definitely not normal.
He looked like a human, but he acted like a monster.
No, he was something far more terrifying... a demon.
"Who are you, really?" Elina asked coldly. "And what's your purpose in attacking my mansion?"
"Your mansion?" Kruch blinked in surprise. Then, a faint smile appeared on his face.
"Hahaha! So, that's how it is! You must be Elina Lorian, right?"
Elina tightened her grip on her sword, her breathing becoming slightly faster.
Noticing her reaction, Kruch laughed again.
"Are you scared? Hehehe… That's only natural. I came here to kill you, you know? The boss ordered it, and I'm just following his orders."
He licked his claws with his long tongue. His repulsive appearance sent shivers down Elina's spine.
But his words startled her.
"The Boss? Is that the guy who attacked the mansion earlier?"
Her expression turned serious. She wasn't sure if her guess was correct, but it seemed likely.
"All right, I won't waste any more time!"
Kruch extended the claws on his left hand. He spread his arms wide, bent his knees, and then darted toward Elina at incredible speed.
Clang!
The sound of clashing metal rang throughout the room.
"Ugh…"
Elina gritted her teeth as she struggled against Kruch's immense strength. Before she could react, Kruch shoved her backward.
Elina lost her balance and stumbled back a few steps.
"You let your guard down!"
Kruch suddenly appeared behind her, bringing his left claw down toward her neck.
Elina was startled. Her body reflexively ducked, narrowly dodging the attack.
Taking advantage of Kruch being in the air, she spun around and swung her sword at his neck.
Slash!
His head was severed instantly.
Elina's eyes sparkled with excitement. However, before she could celebrate, time seemed to stand still.
The blood spurting from his neck and his severed head suddenly rejoined his body at an incredible speed.
"W-What!? How—"
Before she could finish, Kruch kicked her in the face. She barely managed to block it with her left arm.
Boom!
The impact sent her flying backward, crashing through the window and out of the kitchen.
"Cough!"
Elina felt a sharp pain in the back of her left hand. But what hurt even more was the left side of her body, which had taken the full impact of the collision.
"Hehehe… Is that all you've got?"
Kruch suddenly appeared right in front of her.
Elina immediately went on high alert and forced her aching body back to its feet.
She thrust her sword forward and said dismissively, "Don't get cocky just yet. I haven't even gotten serious."
"Heh…" Kruch chuckled coldly. "You're so stubborn, just like those guards in front of the mansion earlier."
Elina's eyes widened.
"The guards?"
Her body tensed.
"Don't tell me you killed them."
"More than just killing them." Kruch licked his lips, staring at her playfully. "I turned them into pieces of meat and ate them."
Thud!
Elina's heart pounded, and her breathing became erratic.
She'd thought Kruch had killed them. But it turned out he hadn't. He'd actually eaten them.
"Monster… You're a monster!" Elina roared.
She crouched down before lunging toward him.
Clang!
Her sword was blocked by Kruch's left claw.
"A monster, huh?" Kruch's expression darkened. "I'm not a monster! I'm human!"
He swung his right claw toward Elina's neck.
Seeing the attack, Elina quickly twisted her sword and parried the blow.
The force sent her flying several meters before she managed to regain her footing.
But Kruch didn't give her any time to recover. He appeared right in front of her and attacked again at incredible speed.
Clang!
Clang!
Elina managed to parry every attack, but her face began to pale. Kruch's speed was increasing by the second, and she was starting to lose track of his movements.
"Die!"
A black tentacle suddenly emerged from behind Kruch and shot straight toward Elina.
"Danger!"
Elina tried to step back, but it was too late.
Srrck!
Her body stiffened. She looked down and saw the tentacle piercing straight through her stomach.
Blood gushed from the wound like a fountain.
"Ugh…"
She covered her mouth, but blood still seeped between her lips.
Seeing this, Kruch chuckled mockingly. "In the end, you're nothing more than a weak human."
He pulled his tentacle back, and Elina immediately staggered backward before collapsing to the ground.
Cold sweat beaded on her forehead as she clutched her wounded abdomen.
"Hah… Hah… Hah…"
Her vision began to blur, but she refused to give in.
"No… I… can't… die…" she growled through gritted teeth.
But the pain only grew worse. Her body was reaching its limit, and her consciousness was slowly fading.
"All right, Your Highness. It's time for you to die. Say goodbye to this world."
Kruch gave a faint smirk as he raised his tentacle high into the air.
Elina could only stare at him helplessly, as if she had already accepted her fate.
Whoosh!
As the tentacle shot toward her, Elina quickly closed her eyes.
A few seconds passed, but the pain she was expecting never came.
When she opened her eyes, she saw the back of a man standing in front of her.
Elina's eyes widened as she recognized him.
"B-Brother…?"
Before she could say anything else, everything went dark, and her body collapsed to the ground.
However, Nolan quickly caught her. He glanced at the wound in her stomach with a blank expression before placing his hand over it.
The wound instantly began to heal at an incredible speed.
Elina's labored breathing gradually eased, and color slowly returned to her pale face.
Nolan carefully laid her down on the ground before turning toward Kruch.
"Did the Order of Chaos send you?" Nolan asked casually as he slowly got to his feet.
Kruch narrowed his eyes and gave a faint grin.
"The Order of Chaos? Who's that? My boss's name is Lucifer!"
Nolan's expression remained as flat as ever.
"So that's how it is. You're nothing more than a clueless piece of trash."
His words enraged Kruch.
"What did you say!?"
Four black tentacles shot out from his back.
"Calling me trash? It seems you're truly arrogant!"
He leaped toward Nolan, charging at him with everything he had.
"Die!"
Boom!
Kruch's attack was easily blocked by an invisible shield surrounding Nolan.
Kruch's eyes widened. He was about to attack again when the space around him suddenly froze.
His body became completely immobilized, frozen in midair.
"W-What's happening!? Why can't I move!?" he cried out in terror.
Nolan didn't answer. He simply snapped his fingers, and a black hole no bigger than his thumb appeared beside him.
"In your next life, try to be a better person."
The black hole shot toward Kruch, and his body was instantly pulled into it by its immense gravity.
"N-No—"
His scream was cut short as his body completely vanished from sight.
The black hole disappeared moments later, leaving no trace behind.
Nolan turned toward Elina and was about to pick her up when a voice suddenly called out from the side.
"Nolan!"
Nolan stopped and turned around, only to find Rafine standing nearby, staring at him blankly.
"Rafine," Nolan greeted her with a slight nod. "What a coincidence. You're here. Please take Elina inside. I'll be leaving soon."
"Wait!"
Rafine rushed toward him and reached out to grab him, but Nolan's body had already started turning into particles of light.
A moment later, he disappeared completely.
Rafine stood there, staring blankly at the spot where Nolan had vanished.
A few seconds later, she came to and looked down at Elina's unconscious body.
"Did Nolan just use spatial power?" she muttered, her heart pounding. "But… isn't spatial power something only the Singularity of Chaos can use…?"

My previous novels were mostly practice, but this is the one I really want to take seriously. By the way, this novel is set in the same universe as this one.
If you have any feedback, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!
