Evalyn clashed with Elyan, the "Sword of Light" and a disciple of the Singularity of Light. Their fierce battle demonstrated incredible swordsmanship, with both fighters showing immense power. Meanwhile, Elina fought on another front until the intense sounds of Evalyn's battle drew her attention.

"The Sword of Light?"

Elina's eyes widened at the name.

She knew who he was. Elyan was a direct disciple of the Singularity of Light.

No wonder Evalyn was struggling. Her opponent was indeed a formidable swordsman.

Then, a thought crossed her mind.

'When did he show up? Why didn't I notice him?'

She had been absolutely certain that Elyan wasn't among the rebel forces.

"Are you wondering why he isn't among my troops?"

Corvin's casual voice snapped Elina out of her thoughts.

She looked up and met his playful gaze.

"He's been here from the very beginning. He just never made a move or revealed himself in front of any of you. After all, he's my trump card in this war."

Elina's expression darkened. She hadn't expected this at all.

She took a deep breath, bent her knees, and pointed her sword at him.

"You've certainly surprised me, but that's all. You don't stand a chance against thirty thousand imperial troops!"

Whoosh!

Elina darted toward him.

Clang!

Her sword clashed with Corvin's.

Elina shoved him back, throwing him off balance.

Before he could react, she appeared beside him and swung her sword toward his neck.

Corvin dodged the attack with ease. Taking advantage of Elina's exposed stance, he immediately launched a counterattack aimed at her waist.

Elina seemed to have anticipated this. She stomped her foot against the ground and used the momentum to propel herself backward.

"Tch! You're as nimble as a leech! But can you dodge my second, third, and fourth attacks!?"

Whoosh!

Corvin darted toward her, and their fierce battle continued.

...

The Western Continent…

The Western Continent was massive, almost as big as the Central Continent, maybe even bigger.

It was split into two regions. One was ruled by the dragon race, while the other was under human rule.

The human territory was further divided into several kingdoms and empires, each with its own conflicts.

A thousand years ago, the region now controlled by humans belonged to the demon race.

However, after two heroes defeated the Demon Emperor Zerathos and his forces, the dragon race ceded the territory to humanity.

Since it had once been demon territory, some parts of the human-controlled region remained uninhabitable.

One such place was the Death Zone, where demonic power still permeated every corner.

At that moment, a twenty-meter-long dragon soared above the clouds, carrying dozens of people on its back.

"Everyone, we'll be arriving at the capital of Drakhar shortly. Stay where you are and don't move around, understand? Otherwise, you might fall. I won't be held responsible," a middle-aged man warned the passengers.

They nodded in unison without saying a word.

A man in a black cloak sat in the farthest corner. He was none other than Nolan.

Noticing how quiet everyone was, he smiled.

'So, this is what it feels like to ride a Flying Dragon, huh?' he muttered.

Flying Dragons served as a means of transportation for the Celestial Empire of Velgranth, connecting its territories with the human kingdoms on the other side of the Western Continent.

Although they belonged to different races, humans and dragons maintained good relations, cooperating in various fields, including economics and defense.

That was why the kingdoms on the Western Continent were considered so powerful.

They received support from the Celestial Empire of Velgranth.

"The journey is quite fast. If I could adapt this Flying Dragon transportation system, it would be incredibly beneficial."

Nolan rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Compared to horse-drawn carriages, traveling by dragon was obviously much faster and more efficient.

Unfortunately, he knew it would be impossible. Dragons were a proud and stubborn race.

They wouldn't want humans riding on their backs, either. Even the dragons working as Flying Dragons were probably only doing it because they had no other choice.

They were usually dragons without any special abilities, so they had little choice but to take on this work.

"Look! That's the capital of Drakhar!"

A shout snapped Nolan out of his thoughts.

He looked up and saw a gigantic city floating in the sky. Its area was probably three times that of the imperial capital.

"Wow! That really is Drakhar! It's amazing!"

"The city really does float, just like in the legends! Incredible!"

Hearing the exclamations around him, Nolan smiled.

"Drakhar, huh? It's been a long time since I last visited this city."

The last time he had been there was two or three years after becoming a Singularity of Chaos.

Back then, he had visited Drakhar solely to meet the Dragon Ancestor.

Who would've thought?

The old dragon had actually challenged him to a fight, and the two had ended up clashing so fiercely that their battle shook the entire Western Continent.

"We'll be there soon. Everyone, get ready," the middle-aged man said indifferently.

The giant dragon continued flying until it finally reached the capital of Drakhar. It landed in a vast, designated landing field four times the size of a soccer field.

The dragon itself looked small compared to the enormous field.

After it landed, Nolan and the others slowly dismounted.

Soon after, several other dragons landed in the same field, bringing more humans into the city.

Nolan paid the middle-aged man four Dragon Coins and went on his way.

As he approached the city gate, he saw dragon soldiers checking everyone who wanted to enter.

Unlike human soldiers, the dragon soldiers were exceptionally tall and well-built.

They stood around two meters tall on average, making the humans waiting in line look small in comparison.

"Next!"

Nolan stepped forward and opened his bag for inspection.

The soldier was surprised to see a human as tall as Nolan.

However, he quickly regained his composure and checked the contents of Nolan's bag.

After making sure there was nothing dangerous inside, the soldier let him through.

Nolan stepped through the massive gate and was blown away by the sight before him.

"Damn… this is beautiful!"

Magnificent buildings stretched as far as the eye could see. Grand hotels, inns, shops, and towering buildings filled the city.

Even the imperial capital, which was famous for its beauty, couldn't compare to the sight before him.

His gaze then shifted upward, where a gigantic palace floated high above the city.

The palace was absolutely stunning. Its silver and gold surfaces shimmered under the blazing sunlight.

"The Imperial Palace of Velgranth," he murmured with a faint smile. "I'm back…"
