The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 2759 - season finale

Previously on The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady...
Shen Yanxiao, now a Lord, struggles with her responsibilities, neglecting her wedding plans with Xiu set for tomorrow. Despite her commitment to expanding the protoss, she realizes her oversight when Qi Xia reminds her of the impending ceremony. In a frantic moment, she rushes to find Xiu, apologizing profusely for her forgetfulness. Their tender reunion quickly escalates as Shen Yanxiao decides to make up for her error in an unexpected way, leading them both into a private and intimate moment before their official union. Tensions ease as the couple shares an emotional connection, underscoring their deep bond amidst the chaos of their lives.

Even after becoming the Lord God, Shen Yanxiao remained just as preoccupied as she had been when she was a mere lord.

Watching her bury herself in the complex arrangements for the resurrections, Qi Xia sighed helplessly. He strode toward her and snatched the pen right out of her hand.

“Death, do you wish to die more thoroughly?” Shen Yanxiao asked, raising an eyebrow as she glared at Qi Xia.

Upon ascending to the position of Lord God, Shen Yanxiao had immediately summoned her companions from the Phantom Squad to the City of the Sky. She allowed them to fully inherit the godheads within their bodies, transforming them into true upper gods.

“My Lady God, I hate to be the one to remind you, but your wedding to the War God is scheduled for tomorrow. If you aren't prepared, I fear someone will be quite disappointed,” Qi Xia remarked with a sigh. Shen Yanxiao had held the title of Lord God for some time now, yet she spent every waking moment trying to increase the population of the Protoss.

Heaven knows that the wedding between her and Xiu had been set an entire year ago. Yet here they were, on the penultimate day, and she hadn't shown even a hint of preparation.

“...” Shen Yanxiao froze in place.

“Tomorrow?” she asked, her voice sounding a bit dull.

Qi Xia gave a firm nod.

“Damn, I completely forgot!” Shen Yanxiao bolted upright, shoving the mountain of tasks on her desk toward Qi Xia. “You have to handle this first. Don't mess it up!”

With those words, she vanished from the hall like a gust of wind.

Staring at the chaotic mess Shen Yanxiao had abandoned, Qi Xia rubbed his temples in frustration.

“Is this what they call bringing trouble upon oneself?” With a bitter smile, he picked up the pen and resumed the work Shen Yanxiao had been doing.

Amidst the vast sea of flowers, Shen Yanxiao spotted that familiar silhouette. He stood there silently, seemingly anticipating her arrival.

“I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” Shen Yanxiao threw herself into Xiu’s embrace, offering one apology after another.

Xiu steadied her, pulling her close into his arms, his gentle gaze shimmering with affection.

“You have done nothing wrong.”

“I... I nearly lost track of the time.” Shen Yanxiao bit her lip, feeling like she had become a total workaholic in this life.

“Don’t you remember it now?” Xiu whispered, leaning down to kiss her lips.

This only made Shen Yanxiao feel more guilty.

“I will make it up to you,” Shen Yanxiao declared firmly.

Xiu simply smiled, showing no signs of resentment. He treated her like a priceless treasure, gently stroking her head.

Shen Yanxiao’s eyes flickered. Suddenly, she pulled away from his embrace, grabbed Xiu’s hand, and led him toward the palace situated deep within the flower field.

“Hmm?” Xiu looked at her with a questioning expression.

“I’m going to compensate you right now,” Shen Yanxiao announced.

Xiu could only offer a helpless smile.

However, by the time Shen Yanxiao had pushed him down onto the bed in his chambers, the War God’s expression had shifted entirely.

“You...”

“It’s pretty obvious, isn't it?” Shen Yanxiao sat astride Xiu’s waist, her small hands beginning to fumble with his robes.

“...”

“The wedding is tomorrow anyway. Doing it a day early won't hurt. Don't be scared, I... I don't have experience, but... there shouldn't be any problems.” Shen Yanxiao’s face was flushed bright red, but her gaze remained incredibly determined. After she finished stripping a certain Uncle of his clothes, she began attacking her own outfit.

Before her hands could even reach her collar, she was pulled into a tight embrace and flipped over. In an instant, their positions were reversed, and she was the one lying on the bed.

“Ah.” Shen Yanxiao stared up at Xiu, her blush deepening further.

“I intended to wait until tomorrow, but now... I’m afraid I can’t wait any longer.” Xiu’s golden eyes darkened with intensity. He lowered his head, pressing a lingering kiss against Shen Yanxiao’s neck.

For over a year, everyone has stayed by my side, accompanying this book until its conclusion. I sincerely thank every reader for your love and support. This was Night North’s first book, and it certainly has its flaws and issues. Thank you for your tolerance and for never giving up on me; you gave me the strength to finish it.

At nearly three million words, I can hardly believe it myself, but I wrote it bit by bit because of you.

This story has made me laugh and cry. Some moments touched me deeply as I wrote them. This book is dedicated to all of you. It isn't perfect or the best, but it is the singular gift I can offer.

I hope you all enjoyed it. For more than a year, reading your comments every day has warmed my heart. One story has ended, but new ones will begin. I hope you will continue to join me. As long as you are here, Night North will remain.

I bow to everyone. A thousand words couldn't say enough, so I will only say: Thank you.

Though the main story of the Seventh is over, there will be side stories so we don't have to say goodbye too quickly.

The characters in this book have become like companions to me. Even as I start a new work, I hope the friends from this story will make appearances in the future. The two stories are independent, yet connected.

Again, thank you. I hope you will enjoy my new series, "The Peerless Doctor: Black-Bellied Miss." Yes, the author is just that bad at names; the new title is very similar to the old one—facepalm!

The unscrupulous thief has found her happiness. Can the unethical veterinarian find the same good fortune as his companion?

I’ll be waiting for you in the new book. *Waves handkerchief* Remember to visit~
