Alec forgoes direct control and allows his skill to forge a new blood weapon, which surprisingly manifests as a powerful Tier 8 Blood War Hammer. This new weapon significantly boosts his strength but decreases his speed, mirroring the attributes of the Bearman General it was forged from. Meanwhile, Beatrice, having achieved immense power in the Origin realm, easily repels an invading sea race army, leaving observers like Brandon and Arthur in awe of both her and Alec's strength.

That marked the end of the assault on Alec’s domain, although it seems several human lord cities had fallen, the surviving lords had rallied under the command of their kings to unite against the otherworldly invaders, successfully preventing the complete destruction of the human-controlled domain.

Alec, meanwhile, was indifferent to whether the Wilderness King spoke out or not, as he harbored no particular goodwill toward the man, despite acknowledging the implicit protection he gained just by being under his kingdom.

Ultimately, Alec viewed the Wilderness King as a deeply irresponsible person. Fortunately, He was served by commendable Great Lords who had already redeployed portions of their armies to the city borders to help, hence halting the enemy’s advance into the wilderness king’s domain before it could penetrate further into the realm.

Although these Great lords seemed eager to intervene and eliminate the remaining forces encroaching on their king’s territories, however; even they were held back by enemy forces.

As armies possessing power equivalent to that of great lords held them in a standoff.

Even outside the wilderness king’s kingdom, two king-level experts from other races were reportedly stationed there alongside their entire military forces.

It was an all-out war against the Wilderness Region, although Alec harbored little likeness for the Wilderness King due to the burdens thrust upon him, he still hoped the man would emerge unscathed.

Because only then would Alec retain the vital shield necessary to protect him from rival king-tier experts capable of destroying him when he still doesn’t have enough strength to compete against them.

After spending considerable time scanning the chat channels and reading the messages discussing him, Alec finally decided to return to his City Heart to assess the recent developments that had occurred.

With the Wilderness Region now besieged on all sides, his drive to gain strength was stronger than ever, he was determined to keep those he loved out of harm’s way.

Also knowing that the Northern Kingdom was now within reach also brought him a sense of relief, because not only would he soon be reunited with his family, but he would also finally have the opportunity to fulfill the clan mission assigned to him.

“Store Blood Weapons,” Alec commanded, at his word, the two weapons floating in front of him transformed into a streak of light, as they materialized on the back of his hand, binding into a vivid tattoo.

The mark resembled a soul-harvesting reaper draped in a crimson cloak that obscured its face, gripping a hammer in one hand and a scythe in the other. It was striking and remarkably stylish. Alec smiled with satisfaction as the tattoo sank beneath his skin and disappeared, just like his spirit set armor used to do.

At this point, he was already tired of thinking about all the magical tattoos covering his body, though only the soul beasts were the only ones that never went into hiding mode.

Although the Blood Moon War had been averted without a single drop of blood being spilled, however; the members of the Gordons clan found little reason to celebrate.

They were well aware that, despite their formidable strength, if they had fought a full-scale battle would have inevitably cost them the lives of many skilled mages.

Yet, instead of relief, an uneasy foreboding hung over them, as if something far worse was looming on the horizon.

Standing inside the city hall near the central area, where Estonia City’s City Heart had chosen to manifest—George Gordons turned to look toward his brother who was in the room with him.

“What do you think I should do?” George asked.

He was torn over whether to submit the city to the rule of the Northern Kingdom, as prompted by the system notification hovering before him or he shouldn’t, he was unable to settle on a proper decision.

“What is there to hesitate about?” his brother replied.

“The city belonged to them in the first place, so submitting it is simply returning it to their hands. Don’t forget, they are actively looking for any pretext to target us, we definitely can’t afford to give them an opportunity.”

“We cannot afford to grant them the opportunity they seek,” the grand elder urged.

“It would be far wiser if we even allow them to appoint someone else to replace you as city lord, because with the lord seal now infused with this new realm’s energy, it has undoubtedly unlocked titles and powers they would never entrust to an outsider or an uncontrollable clan. We must thread carefully.”

Even before his brother finished speaking, George already understood which path he favored. However, as he prepared to accept the proposal, a sudden, thunderous amount of foreign Qi detonated outside, forcing him to set the decision aside.

Sensing the presence of multiple high-rank mages with their mental energy, George and the grand elder of the Gordons clan rushed out of the hall and ascended into the sky to investigate the cause of this unexpected intrusion upon their small city settlement.

Upon emerging, however, they realized the situation was far more perilous than anticipated, because floating directly before them stood the royal knight mages.

Ten mages stood just a few meters beyond the Gordon clan’s territory. Nine were Tier 7 mages led by a formidable Tier 8 mage, all bearing the distinct mark of the royal palace guards on their robes or cloaks.

“To what do we owe this honor?” the grand elder asked swiftly.

“You guards of the royal palace didn’t need to travel so far, we have already decided to surrender this city to Estonia City.”

Even before speaking, the grand elder’s mind was racing, trying to unravel the current situation they were in, as he started to think : the guards had not emerged from the Estonia City space nexus, which means they had traveled via one of the two closest cities’ space nexus instead.

Furthermore, rather than reporting to the city hall, they had come directly to the Gordon clan’s domain—a deeply concerning sign.

Eager to defuse any potential conflict, he made their intentions clear without delay.

Having had close calls with the royal clan in the past, the grand elder knew the Gordon clan was ill-prepared to face such a behemoth, as soon as he finished speaking, he turned to George, signaling for him to proceed with a choice.

“You have no cause for concern—look, I am accepting it right now,” the Gordons’ patriarch reassures them.

As he re-opened the minimized system interface he had set aside when he decided to investigate the disturbance in the city, he promptly selects the affirmative option before them.

The moment he confirms the choice, a brilliant flash of light illuminates the city hall before gradually softening, a golden orb then emerges and begins its ascent, soaring directly toward the location of the capital city of the Northern Kingdom.
