The head envoy continued announcing the rewards for various ranks. Those from 51-100 received Tier 7 pills and land priority, while ranks 26-50 received slightly more pills and better land. Ranks 11-25 received even more pills, including a Tier 8 cultivation pill, and higher-tier land. Ranks 3-10 received substantial rewards, including custom Tier 7 spirit weapons and better land. Alec, ranked third, seemed unimpressed by his rewards, considering exchanging them for lifeform corpses. Dragov, second, received similar rewards to third place with an extra Tier 7 spirit equipment piece. Takeda's first-place rewards were extensive. Alec suspected preferential treatment was given to Takeda and focused on the impending Blood Moon War.

Estonia City

The mages belonging to the handful of clans that had pledged their support to the Gordons Clan for this conflict had all assembled, anticipating the imminent commencement of the blood moon war.

Concurrently, a contingent of Gordons guards had been strategically positioned atop the city's main gate. Their crucial role was to secure the entrance once all participating mages had safely exited for the blood moon war. The Gordons Clan's strategic objective was to engage and conclude the battle beyond the city walls, with no other battlefield designated.

A significant number of Gordons clan members were already gathered outside the city's gates, poised for the beginning of the hostilities.

The Lanzt Clan stood arrayed on one flank, their green robes a clear indication of their wind element affiliation. It marked a significant departure, as this was notably the first occasion many had witnessed them not fighting in a supporting role for another clan during wartime.

It almost appeared as though their revered ancestor was making a concerted effort to outwardly demonstrate their unwavering backing to the Gordons Clan.

However, the current Gordons Patriarch seemed unburdened by their displays, preoccupied as he was with a multitude of more pressing concerns.

Then, the Darkbliss Clan made their appearance, led personally by their own Patriarch. In stark contrast to many other clans, the Darkbliss Clan had not engaged in any pretense when the Gordons sought their aid.

Indeed, their Patriarch personally led the mages from his clan, adorned in the Tier 6 Umbral Dread Regalia spirit equipment set that had been procured during the Gordons Clan's grand auction.

Suspended in mid-air, he exuded a potent, dark aura, making a clear statement of his possession of the Tier 6 equipment set – though he was far from the sole individual doing so.

It seemed as though every individual who had managed to acquire an equipment set from that particular auction was actively vying to showcase their prize.

The younger generation could only observe the conspicuous behavior of their elders.

The mages of the Darkbliss Clan were uniformly attired in black robes, conspicuously displaying their clan insignia emblazoned on the back and the upper left portion of their attire.

Positioned not far from them were the Coral Clan and the Aegisborn Clan, situated in relative proximity to each other.

The mages of the Coral Clan favored light-blue robes, while members of the Aegisborn Clan were dressed in either pristine white or somber grey.

Leading the Coral Clan was a formidable lady of the Tier 6 realm. Prior to this, she had simply been recognized as one of the clan's more potent members. However, subsequent to the clan's acquisition of a Tier 6 spirit equipment set, she had ascended to become one of its vital keystones.

Although the set had been bestowed upon the Coral Clan as compensation for their immense sacrifices during the Blood Moon War, none of the elder members who had attempted to claim and appropriate it for themselves were capable of forming a bond with it.

It was at this juncture that they received communication from a Gordons Clan envoy, informing them that the spirit equipment set was uniquely designed for and could exclusively be wielded by a woman.

In an instant, the clan members grasped the true intentions behind Alec's actions.

Despite his assertion that he was gifting it to the Coral Clan, his actual objective was to bestow it upon the daughter of their Tier 7 elder, who had tragically perished after succumbing to the Z-virus during a previous conflict.

The explanation was remarkably straightforward. Alec was aware that clans, upon the demise of a prominent figure, could easily fragment due to internal strife. To prevent such a devolution of power into unsuitable hands, he made discreet inquiries and ascertained that the fallen Coral elder had a daughter residing within the Tier 6 realm.

Nevertheless, she possessed negligible sway within their council during critical decision-making processes. Consequently, to empower her, he intentionally crafted a spirit equipment set with a specifically feminine design in mind.

Given that no other female mage within the clan possessed comparable merit, those who harbored ambitions for the spirit equipment set's power were compelled to acknowledge her sole capability to utilize it and guide their clan toward another golden era.

Ever since the day she forged a connection with the spirit equipment set, her prowess had escalated exponentially, establishing her as the preeminent mage within the entire Coral Clan.

Through this stratagem, she not only reclaimed her father's esteemed position as the leading elder but also, when the Gordons Clan subsequently issued a call for allies to aid in their city's defense, she found herself once again at the forefront of their contingent.

Some of the more senior elders within the Coral Clan had proposed a stance of passive observation, citing their ongoing recovery. However, she categorically rejected such a passive approach, leveraging her recently acquired authority to propel her clan towards offering their support, which ultimately resulted in her current leadership role.

Regarding the Aegisborn Clan, little could be definitively stated; they were the clan about whom the Gordons possessed the least information, yet paradoxically, they exhibited the most profound loyalty.

From the Gordons Clan's perspective, the Aegisborn were perceived as a cadre of zealous combatants who championed righteous principles and demonstrated an unshakeable fidelity.

This was the prevailing viewpoint held by the Gordons, and their leader was none other than their Patriarch, outfitted in the newly acquired Ivory Juggernaut equipment set, accompanied by his brother, Orion.

“They have all arrived!” a mid-rank mage, who had hurried towards one of the towers atop the city gate, reported after dropping to one knee and saluting the Gordon Patriarch.

“Hmm. Inform the Gordon high-rank mages to make their appearance now,” the Patriarch replied after hearing the report.

As the mages from the allied clans observed the lower-ranked members of the Gordon Clan standing alone, they started to question where the Gordon's true strength was currently located.

However, the answer was not long in coming.

Distinct auras suddenly surged forward, exerting pressure on the surroundings, and at the forefront of this movement was the Fourth Elder of the Gordon Clan.

Trailing behind him were the Third, Second, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Elders.

When these six mages ascended into the air and positioned themselves alongside the other high-rank mages of Estonia City, the expressions of many individuals shifted instantly as they finally grasped the terrifying aspect of the Gordon Clan elders before them.

The revelation was that every single one of them had already reached the Tier 7 mage realm.

Instantly, people began to ponder when precisely the Gordons had managed to amass so many Tier 7 mages, and then their thoughts turned to an even more unsettling realization: the Patriarch and the cunning Grand Elder were not even present among them yet.

Their grand entrance created an immediate and intimidating effect on the onlookers.

Then, from within the gates, the mid-rank mage army of the Gordon Clan finally marched out, as the city gates were secured behind them.

And as this transpired, the one leading them was Zack—the Eighth and newest Elder of the Gordon Clan.

Upon seeing him at the forefront, many felt a sense of relief

that the mid-rank mage army of the Gordon Clan would indeed be participating in the events to come.
