The Golem Mage Chapter 1087: Gun-------.

Alec sensed darkness enveloping him completely, initially making it feel like the shadows were constricting tighter around his body, yet in the instant that followed, his awareness was abruptly drawn outward.
Right when he believed he'd witnessed every wonder the bizarre Creation Stone system could reveal, he suddenly hovered overhead, peering down at the battlefield like a divine being watching over the lands below.
But a closer look revealed the truth swiftly; much of the battlefield looked dull and gray, devoid of life, while the zones his team had secured kept their vivid hues, including their starting deployment area at the rear.
Alec instantly grasped that this was the Creation Stone's system overlay, urging him to select a respawn spot, and then he spotted something more.
Damien and Kira advanced toward a rune point held by the War God team, as Dragov retreated to the western rune, probably to block Pale and Endrick.
From his elevated view across the battlefield, Alec saw Pale and Endrick shifting toward the northern rune to seize it, though he doubted their success.
For Carmilla had respawned there already, and Connor picked the identical spot too, forcing those two to confront a pair of foes simultaneously while Dragov raced back to retake the western rune point.
3... 2... 1... 0... Random spawning.
As Alec pondered the scenario, crimson numerals flashed before his vision, and prior to any response, his consciousness yanked back down to the battlefield.
Had he known a countdown was ticking, he wouldn't have spent so long weighing his choices.
Rather than letting him pick a spot, the system dumped him randomly at his team's original spawn zone far behind the lines.
Once respawned, Alec took a brief pause to check his form, noting no remnants of his prior wounds lingered on this fresh body—it stood fully healed, as though the damage never occurred.
“Master... phew!”
Before Alec advanced, Legion's relieved tone reached him, catching him off guard.
Curious, he tried calling the golem and discovered he could indeed summon it.
Though the Creation Stone aimed to block all summons, Alec's case diverged from typical mages; his golems linked far more profoundly to him than most knew.
Each had evolved its own awareness and bound straight to his soul, resembling shards of Alec that sprouted unique traits.
Through years at his side, they'd absorbed how to behave and reason; without Legion's worried call, Alec might never have noticed he could still reach them.
Now aware, the tide turned—the fight felt far simpler in his thoughts.
“Legion, help me with your nano weapon cubes,” Alec sent via voice transmission.
He knew that while he could summon his golems, others likely couldn't use the same trick, so he avoided tipping off the judges about evading their imposed limits.
Drawing eyes helped at times, but hogging the spotlight excessively spelled trouble; Alec embraced his clan's creed: conceal yourself and slip through shadows when needed.
Two gleaming cubes materialized instantly before him; Alec imprinted the forms he desired via mental projection.
Since he could wield his golems' skills too, crafting tools took minimal strain—the left cube morphed swiftly into a sturdy metal gauntlet, clamping secure around his left forearm.
The right cube, meanwhile, shifted toward a rifle shape, though unfinished.
Without pause, Alec conjured a third cube using his left hand as he dashed toward the eastern rune; the battlefield map showed the southern rune's soaring light steady and secure under his team's hold, free of threats for now.
Yet blasts resounding over the field hinted the true clash raged at the eastern rune, nearer to the central one, so Alec foresaw his allies pulling back there once he signaled retreat to guard their gains.
[ Red Team Member Endrick — Eliminated ]
[ Red Team Member Pale — Eliminated ]
These alerts popping up confirmed it for Alec: Dragov skipped the other captured rune to wipe out his teammates first.
Alec eyed the skyborne display array, seeing two rune points firmly in his team's grasp, while the third flickered, their control starting to crumble.
Red Team 266 — 164 Blue Team.
His squad maintained a solid edge, but Alec refused to let Bloodline Academy snag a third rune; that would let them shrink the gap rapidly, eroding his team's lead.
The risk of them overtaking loomed large too.
As he neared the eastern rune, Alec crouched low and propelled skyward with gravity control.
Then he jammed the new cube into the weapon, finalizing the rifle's form. Below its primary barrel sat a slot tailored for missile ammo.
Alec's arrival aloft drew every eye instantly; he zeroed in on Lucas, entangled in brutal combat with Damien.
Close by, Brandon dominated Kira, their blades ringing in constant clash, yet her daggers offered scant edge. Her blazing speed yielded no fatal hits on him.
All combatants spotted Alec overhead right away.
“Move!” Alec barked.
Lucas and Brandon hesitated a heartbeat before leaping back from their foes; Damien lunged after Lucas, striving to stay in melee range.
Uncertain of Alec's plan, Damien guessed at an AOE blast, and the retreat order meant sparing teammates from its sweep.
Trusting Alec wouldn't endanger his own, Damien pressed the attack, figuring proximity to allies would force restraint.
But mid-stride across the field, passing a key line, realization struck him.
“Got you!”
