The Golem Mage Chapter 1077: Qualified.

“Leave them. They are mine.”
As Alec and Hoshino Ren remained entangled in their fierce battle, Titan chose to confront the Blade Clan warriors personally.
When he uttered those words, his eyes locked straight onto Brandon, Arthur, and Knight, completely overlooking Lucas, who continued bleeding yet managed to hold steady against Aeron.
The two of them cackled madly while trading strikes, their weapons smashing together again and again, amplified by Qi.
Lucas held a clear edge in brute force, since every arc of his glaive shoved Aeron back several paces, yet Aeron proved shrewd enough to sidestep certain assaults and hunt for swifter paths to bring Lucas down.
Still, with lightning surging through Lucas’s frame, his reflexes and dodging prowess had surged dramatically, rendering it difficult for Aeron to dispatch him rapidly at breakneck pace.
Thanks to this, he stayed upright and eluded being cornered or subdued by Aeron’s maneuvers.
Once Titan had spoken, the three Gordon clan fighters grudgingly withdrew to open the path, even though they felt far from pleased—actually, they were certain victory would come with just a tad more effort, yet Titan evoked a trace of dread they simply couldn’t dismiss.
As the Gordons pulled away, Titan strode forward toward the three Blade Clan combatants, his face remaining icy and devoid of emotion. With no alternative but to confront this fearsome Golem ahead, the trio hoisted their weapons and charged at him as one.
Darius reached him first, clutching his claymore in a two-handed grip, unleashing a mighty sideways slash from the left aimed directly at Titan’s throat.
Trailing closely, Talon Blades assaulted from the right; the instant his fist thrust out, a tiny roaring dragon’s head formed in flames encircling his arm.
Although merely the dragon’s head stood out clearly, the blaze stretched forth like a scorching neck tracing the punch’s course.
In the meantime, Sora held the back spot, attacking from rear with distant aid strikes; each forward jab with his tonfas propelled blasts of packed wind toward Titan.
And within a mere heartbeat, Titan utterly crushed all three.
To start, a compact ice axe formed in his left grasp, which he swung to latch onto Darius’s claymore blade, ensnaring the weapon during its arc.
Ere Darius could respond, Titan’s right leg crashed into his knee, buckling him low. As Darius staggered off-balance and started tumbling, Titan’s leg surged up once more to crush his jaw, flinging him rearward in a clumsy sprawl.
Darius sidelined for the moment, Titan thrust out his left palm to seize Talon’s fiery dragon punch squarely.
He not only halted the blow but clamped down on Talon’s fist while his chilling power smothered the blazing force pouring from the punch. Concurrently, Titan whipped his left arm, conjuring an ice mace in a flash. In a single fluid strike, he clubbed it into Talon’s temple from the flank.
The impact felled Talon senseless at once, as the ice mace shattered into elemental ice shards.
Titan then seized Talon’s slack form and yanked him before himself right when Sora’s wind bursts struck.
Boom!!!
Titan wielded Talon’s insensate body as a shield against the wind assaults battering his back, every collision sending Talon’s frame into wild convulsions.
The intense wind barrages ravaged his rear, tearing rents in his garb and skin, though Titan showed utter indifference. When the onslaught halted, Titan carelessly hurled Talon’s body away.
Just then, Darius lunged back into view, stooped with his claymore extended as he drove it ahead at Titan.
Titan merely grasped the blade with his naked hand.
Icy energy swiftly crawled over the sword, speeding through the metal and inching toward Darius’s hold. Spotting the threat, Darius scarcely pulled his hand loose before the frost could claim it.
Yet Titan advanced without pause.
His left arm lashed out to clamp Darius’s throat, hoisting him skyward as he choked and clawed at Titan’s vise-like hold.
Still, Titan’s glacial aura persisted in invading him, draining color from Darius’s face as if his very blood were congealing gradually.
Noticing this, Sora unleashed fresh strikes at Titan; however, Titan swung the airborne Darius aside and jabbed his right hand toward Sora’s spot, determined not to let him rampage freely.
In the blink of an eye, sharp ice lances burst from the earth, rocketing upward at Sora’s stance.
The surge was so swift that Sora couldn’t dodge; the ice lances trapped him utterly, hoisting him aloft and slamming him against the arena barrier like a crucified soul, limbs splayed wide while his torso remained locked in heavy, serrated ice.
Having dispatched Sora, Titan shifted his attention back to Darius. Gradually lifting his right arm, he aimed two fingers at Darius’s skull and unleashed a slender ice ray.
Boom!
A subdued thud rang out; the ray’s focused might fell short of fatal, yet it packed ample punch to render him out cold in an instant.
Amid this chaos, Alec and Ren’s decisive strikes at last met.
Following the clash’s wake, their stances had fully inverted, Alec now positioned where Ren had stood seconds before, while Ren occupied Alec’s earlier spot.
The whole arena plunged into hush, and moments later the audience spotted a lengthy crimson streak slashed across Alec’s torso.
Shocked gasps exploded from the Northern Kingdom fans’ zone, unable to fathom the injury, but Alec merely pressed his hand to his chest, felt the blood, and grinned.
“That wasn’t half bad,” Alec said calmly.
“That was... a beautiful sword skill,” Ren answered, his back still facing Alec, his tone quivering faintly as he voiced it before his frame toppled forward to the floor.
It was only then that onlookers grasped Ren had truly been the vanquished in the bout, though his face-down collapse had concealed the full severity of Alec’s cut from immediate view.
Ren fallen, Aeron alone stood; still, the surviving War God Team members retreated and permitted the Aeron-Brandon showdown to rage on undisturbed.
Ultimately, the duo depleted their strength entirely and crumpled, Brandon appearing on the verge of coma, yet the War God Mage Academy retained four upright mages.
The instant the verdict emerged clear, rabid followers burst into ear-splitting roars well ahead of the judge’s official declaration.
Alec’s name boomed once more through the arena in his dazzling resurgence, but as his comrades reveled and beckoned to the thundering throng, Alec’s eyes strayed elsewhere.
Rather, his stare stayed pinned on Takeda, who had observed the full fray; however, based on Agnes’s reports, Alec reckoned the form eyeing the fight was scarcely one of Takeda’s core vessels.
It was likely no more than a duplicate, dispatched by Takeda to watch the contest and scout details on his impending rivals.
