As the giants unleashed colossal axes, the rope bridge began to fall. Evangeline created a protective dome, saving most of the Daywalkers as the rope was severed. Meanwhile, Levi, having studied his enemy, launched his weapon to kill the Hexgaze Lurker, but suffered a devastating recoil and plummeted into the abyss.

The deafening roar from the multitude ascended, dispersing the very clouds above!

Sergio, Jamal, and Rayan embraced, leaping with unrestrained joy—a sentiment echoed by every supporter of the Earthling Daywalkers and Raiders across their entire Dimensional Sector!

The betting terminals, moments prior frozen, now blazed with stark red indicators of "LOST" and "WIN" as figures spiraled uncontrollably. Those who had wagered correctly collapsed in elation at the improbable turnaround, while the unfortunate mourned, their fixed gazes refusing to disengage from the displays.

"This is unbelievable!" Gamemaster Envy bellowed into the microphone. "Direct your attention to the screen! Observe the depths of the abyss! Levi is not fated to perish here! Not after snatching his faction back from the precipice of doom!"

The throng surged with palpable excitement as the spectacle of the burning green silhouette sprinting across the precarious rope unfolded. Levi, a mere streak of verdant luminescence, traversed the chasm, his form an indistinguishable blur.

With every eruptive leap, he propelled himself forward, resembling a torrent of ethereal green flame navigating the air with astonishing velocity!

The surviving Daywalkers, dispersed along the rope's expanse, could scarcely contain their elation as the emerald aura drew nearer. They had harbored fears of Levi's failure, yet remained unaware of their captain's true caliber.

A shattered arm to the very bone? Such an injury was insignificant compared to the trials Levi had endured within the Nocturnal Ring and his subsequent evolutions!

Under the impassioned narration of Gamemaster Envy and the thunderous acclamations of the onlookers, Levi pierced the encroaching gloom, successfully surpassing his first comrade—Tyrese.

’Release yourself.’

A singular command resonated within Tyrese’s consciousness—no preamble, no words of solace. Nevertheless, Tyrese complied without the slightest hesitation. As he descended, he procured a joint, igniting it with a faint, yet deeply relieved, smile.

Instantly, an ethereal appendage, akin to a whip, erupted from Levi’s back, ensnaring him entirely. He was then drawn upward as Levi continued his relentless advance, issuing the same silent directive to every Daywalker he overtook.

Whether it was Nurah, Evangeline, or Mira, it made no difference. The moment Levi passed them, they surrendered their trust to him implicitly, certain he would guide them to safety.

Each instance an ethereal limb secured them, they were drawn into a dispersed, controlled formation trailing behind him. He appeared as an ethereal, humanoid fox, trailing a contingent of individuals!

As he neared the precipice, Levi concentrated all his formidable power into his lower limbs for a final, explosive surge. With a colossal detonation of green light, he launched himself from the rope, soaring towards the solid rock of the cliff face, preempting the abyss's grasp on his allies.

His landing was abrupt, skidding across the earth in a sweeping arc before finally decelerating, dislodging a monumental plume of dust.

As the airborne particles settled, Levi stood, gasping for breath, his arm missing, bleeding, and coated in dissipating green incandescent specks. Yet, with unwavering resolve, he gently lowered his allies onto the ground.

Immediately thereafter, the heavens parted, and colossal emerald beacons pierced the sky. They coalesced into luminous glyphs, commanding the attention of all present.

"The Raiders have triumphed!" Envy’s voice resonated throughout the entire sector. "The underdogs have ascended to kingship! From this moment forward, none shall dare question the Raiders’ Captain. He is the Chosen One! Had it not been for him, this trial would have concluded in the initial rounds!"

The heavens began to tremble as billions of viewers commenced an synchronized chant, invoking the same name repeatedly.

Within the crater’s confines, Levi found himself enveloped by a cascade of cheers, encircled by his comrades. Tyrese, Evangeline, Mira, Nurah, and the others displayed not a flicker of envy or avarice towards the granting of the Unique Wish. Even the most acquisitive among them could not refrain from offering gratitude to the Solar Deities for Levi’s leadership.

Following their confrontations with Fang, Rain, and the Hexgaze Lurker, all of them recognized that their demise was sealed the moment Fang single-handedly subdued eight of their number.

Undeniably, Jasmine had played a pivotal role, and many among them had performed admirably. Still, only one individual possessed the requisite fortitude to snatch victory from the very jaws of defeat.

The Chosen One: Levi Larson!

They swiftly converged on Levi, earnestly attending to his injuries despite his persistent assurances of well-being. Ultimately, he relented.

However, Levi neither acknowledged the crowd nor reveled with his allies after they helped conceal his skeletal limb. He strained his spiritual senses to their absolute limit, even as his energy reserves dwindled to near depletion. Only upon detecting the proximate auras of Jasmine, Arthur, Jojo, and Shia nearing the cliff did he cease his efforts.

Thanks to Shia, their safe passage was secured, as she was the first to reach the precipice, drawing them upward with her adhesive tendrils.

Upon scaling the edge, Arthur immediately scanned for Levi. The instant he confirmed Levi’s safety and ongoing treatment, a broad grin illuminated his features.

’Big bro... I never stopped believing,’ he exclaimed, offering his hand for a fist bump.

’Me neither...’

Across the vast chasm, Levi managed a faint smile before extending his hand to mirror the gesture, thousands of kilometers separating them.

The Larson brothers had once again achieved victory, this time witnessed by billions, none of whom had even known their names prior.

And now? The name Larson was indelibly etched into everyone’s memory. With such an insane display and epic scale of the game, forgetting was simply impossible.

’You think mom and dad will be proud?’ Arthur quietly asked, catching some of the chants that included their family name.

’I don’t think… I know,’ Levi replied, a serene smile gracing his lips. ’Their sons are out here saving the world… one calculated step at a time.’

Levi was well aware that once his secret and Jasmine's identity were revealed, Earth would attract immense scrutiny from numerous Noble Houses eager to recruit talent for their own agendas.

While this might seem disadvantageous, Levi understood their planet was already teetering on the Doomed List. If the Saviors showed no interest in intervening, then securing external support wouldn't be detrimental.

Since the planet was still providing benefits to the Saviors, the Noble Houses would hesitate to openly oppress the natives. After all, the platform’s regulations applied to all who invaded from the outside a ’listed’ planet, not just the opposing forces.

Nevertheless, Levi knew a smooth path lay ahead for none of them, especially his squad. But this path was significantly preferable to the alternative.

He refused to let the Shadow Corruption consume their home while the rest of the universe remained oblivious.

Just as Levi had anticipated, even before the game concluded, Dominic’s dimensional D-mail inbox was overflowing with visit requests from influential figures – some so prominent they sent shivers down his spine. Yet, much like Levi, he recognized this as a unique chance to elevate their planet’s standing.

He recalled reading about powerful factions that had shielded numerous planets by taking them under their protection. Certainly, pledging allegiance would be required, but it was a far better fate than utter annihilation.

The only unsettling news amidst all this was:

’Arthur, Shia, Jasmine, Nurah…’ Levi’s expression suddenly grew serious as he gave his command, ’Gather your belongings… from this moment on, the Boundless Expanse shall be our sanctuary until we attain the strength to return and reclaim our homeworld permanently.’

’We’re with you, Big bro…’ Arthur affirmed, his earlier grin replaced by a resolute nod. ’If gaining strength requires this, then we’re in.’

’You guided us through hell today, Levi,’ Nurah expressed with a smile. ’We trust your leadership implicitly.’

’I’m game, but where will we reside?’ Shia inquired. ’I can reach out to my dad… he might let us stay in his territory. It might be modest… but it’s a starting point.’

Before anyone could respond, Jasmine offered with a gentle smile, ’You are welcome to stay with me… I’ve inherited some private territory…’

’Some?’

Levi’s eyebrows slightly twitched, knowing the sheer scale of her inheritance would astonish his friends. Predictably, Jasmine was immediately swamped with questions regarding her ’inherited territory,’ prompting Levi to intervene.

’We’ll discuss the specifics later, once Jojo is awake.’

Upon hearing this, Arthur and the girls dropped their inquiries, turning their attention back to Gamemaster Envy’s closing remarks. With a final, professional sign-off, Gamemaster Envy terminated the broadcast and cleared the sky from the viewers’ sight.

In mere moments, tranquility returned to the Hawling Abyss.

"Now then… will you be accepting your Wishes here, or shall we retreat to privacy?" Gamemaster Envy inquired, a subtle hint of mischief coloring his voice.
