The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space Chapter 2946: Jin Buhuan (1)

Border City is a standalone border town, belonging neither to Daxuan nor to Jin Country, situated in the central region of the border between the two nations. Over time, due to interactions between locals and passing merchants, the town gradually took shape.
To be honest, calling it a city is a stretch; it’s more like a town in size. The local population is small, consisting mainly of transient individuals from Daxuan, Jin Country, Yuan Country, and even the Mogul Kingdom, resulting in a rather mixed and diverse populace.
"We need to disguise ourselves," Yang Ruxin said, glancing at the approaching Border City, a hint of amusement at her lips. "We can’t let the Han Prince know we’re here too early; we must give him a surprise."
Gu Qingheng nodded, planning to leave a message for the Yun King later. He had departed two days later than planned, to have someone to rely on eventually.
An hour later, first a middle-aged couple, accompanied by a little girl and a servant, entered Border City. They dressed quite extravagantly, allegedly merchants bringing several special products from Daxuan, hoping to trade with people from Jin Country.
Upon entering the city, they sought an inn and casually asked a passerby, rewarding them with a Silver Ingot.
Ordinarily, unfamiliar faces entering Border City would attract the attention of various forces, especially such wealthy-looking individuals.
This attention was precisely what Yang Ruxin and Gu Qingheng desired; as they intended to do business in Shangjing, the more attention, the better. Hence, they acted ostentatiously in the city, staying at the best inn and eating the finest meals.
While all eyes were on Yang Ruxin and Gu Qingheng, a few more people entered Border City. They were street performers, a couple with two brothers, earning a living.
Their arrival was much less noteworthy.
They stayed at the cheapest inns for the poor and ate from the cheapest food stalls.
Though they were watched for two days, eventually, they were dismissed.
Between acts, Gu Qingheng and Yang Ruxin watched their performance and unexpectedly rewarded them with a gold ingot, to the envy of the onlookers.
"I heard you are headed to Shangjing for business?" Finally, on the third day, someone approached them and blocked Gu Qingheng and Yang Ruxin at the inn’s entrance just as they were about to leave.
"And you are?" Gu Qingheng frowned slightly.
"My name is Jin, Jin Buhuan, also a merchant." The short, stout man touched the large jade finger-object on his left hand with his right, "Can we talk inside for a moment?"
"Well..." Gu Qingheng hesitated slightly.
"How about a cup of tea at a nearby place?" Jin Buhuan made an inviting gesture.
Ultimately, Gu Qingheng and Yang Ruxin followed Jin Buhuan to a private room in a teahouse.
"I heard you intend to do business in Jin Country, do you have any partners there?" Jin Buhuan asked with a sincere smile, personally pouring tea for the two.
"Partners?" Gu Qingheng chuckled, "Our products are of such great quality, and we have the financial capacity. Why would I partner with someone? That would be like giving away money for nothing."
"Indeed," Yang Ruxin nodded in agreement, "Our products are in great demand in Daxuan. Have you heard of the Divine Doctor Dao Xuzi? His apprentice has developed medicinal wines and teas from the Xiaocang River that are great for longevity, available in limited quantities. We were lucky to acquire the distribution rights." She paused, "Oh, and there’s the Divine Sauce Chili Sauce. Do you think these products won’t sell well?"
