Yang Ruxin's pregnancy is causing distress and animosity, particularly from Guan Qingyue, who is consumed by jealousy. After a fit of rage and curses directed at Yang Ruxin by the river, Guan Qingyue is suddenly abducted. She awakens on a cold hillside to find herself face-to-face with a mysterious masked woman named Diewu, who reveals she knows Guan Qingyue and has brought her here because of her hatred for Yang Ruxin.

"So what?" Guan Qingyue bit her lip, "Can’t I curse people?"

"But does cursing help?" Diewu sneered, advancing towards Guan Qingyue. She placed the dagger against the latter's neck, slowly guiding it upward. "Hating someone, the only solution is to make this person disappear forever."

Guan Qingyue's eyes widened abruptly. The dagger's icy touch made her entire body stiffen, paralyzing her. She dared not move, fearing the cold edge's glide against her skin, sending shivers down her spine. She was consumed by the dread of her throat being slit.

"What do you say?" Diewu’s dagger shifted from Guan Qingyue’s neck to her cheek.

"Correct... correct!" Guan Qingyue choked out a response, her back already slick with sweat.

"How about we work together?" Diewu retracted the dagger. "Let’s make that annoying person disappear together."

"Cooperate?" Guan Qingyue’s apprehension did not lessen; her lips continued to tremble. "How to cooperate? I... I can’t kill anyone, I... ah!" Before she could finish, the dagger whistled past her ear, embedding itself into the tree trunk behind her. A lock of her black hair was severed, eliciting a scream as she tumbled to the ground.

"With such courage, you dare to hate Yang Ruxin?" Diewu scoffed. "Seems like I found the wrong person." With a sudden flick of her wrist, the dagger in the tree trunk was powerfully pulled back into her grasp.

"Wait a moment." Guan Qingyue suddenly called out.

Diewu turned, a mocking glint in her eyes.

"I’m willing to cooperate, but I don’t know any martial arts, I can’t really help you." Guan Qingyue shakily got to her feet. A thought struck her: since this person had uncovered her animosity and brought her here, refusing might mean death. Agreeing seemed the wiser choice. This individual possessed formidable skills; perhaps she could indeed help eliminate Yang Ruxin.

"No, I don’t need you to use force. I just need your assistance."

"Okay!" Guan Qingyue scurried forward two steps, assenting. "I agree." She swallowed. "What do I need to do? Just don’t make me approach her; that bitch is always wary of me."

Diewu’s lips curved into a slight smile. "You don’t need to deliberately approach her." She produced a bottle. "You only need to get inside the Yang Family’s courtyard and place this into their water vat."

"What is this?" Guan Qingyue hesitated before reaching out.

Diewu suddenly extended her hand towards the tall grass.

A gust of wind seemed to materialize, as if her hand possessed mystical power, snatching a mouse from the grass and confining it within her grasp.

Guan Qingyue watched the squeaking mouse, goosebumps erupting across her skin.

Diewu pinched the mouse's mouth open, poured a small amount of liquid from the bottle into it, and then released the creature.

The mouse hit the ground and attempted to scamper away, but after only a few steps, it collapsed, its body convulsing violently.

Guan Qingyue turned deathly pale.

The mouse continued to writhe without succumbing, its squeals weakening as it struggled, white foam continuously bubbling from its mouth.

"A poison that inflicts a fate worse than death." Diewu pressed the bottle directly into Guan Qingyue’s hand. "Once poisoned, it takes a quarter of an hour to die."
