The A.I. Chip Cain possessed was a standard model. Such devices are embedded into the brains of all children during infancy. Although they are indispensable for daily life, their processing power is relatively mediocre.

Cain could only dismiss the A.I. Chip's advice with a shake of his head. With barely enough funds to cover his food and rent, the hospital’s advanced facilities—which could mend his body in mere minutes—remained a luxury he could not afford.

Approaching a cabinet, the youth retrieved a container labeled ‘Soldier Drugs.’ He swallowed a few pills, and soon his pained expression softened as the agony began to dull.

‘The Soldier Drugs from Father are truly remarkable. Since they are designed for Wave Warriors and I haven't even reached Level 1 yet, it’s only natural they work so effectively on me.’

Cain let out a soft sigh regarding his mediocre talent, though he refused to dwell on such dark thoughts for long. Since he was sidelined until his injuries mended, he scanned the room for a distraction, eventually settling on a small row of books.

The shelf held only three volumes, yet each was kept in flawless condition. Even though the A.I. Chip had long ago stored their contents digitally, Cain found the tactile experience of reading physical books to be a soothing pastime.

The three titles were: History of Godslayer Humankind, Introduction to Wave Cultivation, and the Soldier Military Manual. These had been acquired by Cain’s father during his service in the Imperial Military Force. While not immensely valuable, they were items a commoner would struggle to obtain.

With an eager grin, Cain pulled the first book, History of Godslayer Humankind, from the shelf and began to read.

Over ten millennia ago, humanity resided on a small, azure planet. This was the cradle of the human race, providing for our needs for hundreds of thousands of years. Its true name was intentionally erased by the passage of time, leaving it known only as the Old World.

Tragically, the Old World was rendered toxic and uninhabitable by the unchecked greed and negligence of humankind.

As the planet's demise loomed, many of the era's greatest intellectuals sought survival among the stars, abandoning our ancestral home to find a new world.

However, one man—a singular, absolute genius—chose a far more audacious path than space travel. Utilizing his peerless intellect, he tore open a gateway into an entirely different dimension.

Initially, this revelation was met with jubilation by human leaders. The journey to the stars could only save a select few, whereas this new dimension appeared much more accessible to the masses.

Regrettably, that period of joy was fleeting.

The first to step through the portal was a contingent of scientists and soldiers. Their objective was to scout the realm and determine the feasibility of terraforming it for the first human colony.

Within thirty minutes of their arrival, a terrifying beast attacked, slaughtering the expeditionary force.

The situation spiraled into a nightmare when the creature crossed back through the portal, unleashing carnage upon the Old World. It took the lives of thousands before the military finally succeeded in slaying it.

In the immediate aftermath, humanity's leaders ordered the portal sealed and all related data purged to prevent a repeat of the disaster.

The genius inventor was instantly rebranded, falling from the status of a hero to that of a criminal. While some leaders called for his imprisonment, others demanded far more severe punishments.

Yet, the great man refused to let his vision die. In that monstrous entity capable of challenging entire battalions, he saw more than just survival—he saw a path to transcendence.

Before the politicians could use him as a puppet for their own agendas, he vanished through the portal into the unknown dimension.

Public opinion concluded the man had lost his mind; since survival in such a place seemed impossible, he was eventually scrubbed from memory.

A decade later, as the Old World teetered on the brink of total societal collapse, the genius made his return.

He had not only survived ten years among those monsters but had also attained god-like powers. He possessed the ability to fly, could crush armored tanks with his bare hands, and remained unscathed even when caught in the heart of a bomb blast.

He revealed to the inhabitants of the Old World that a force called Wave saturated the new dimension. This miraculous power offered humanity the chance to augment their strength and vastly extend their lives.

Though the new dimension was perilous, it was also a paradise. Humans are often driven by fear, but greed is the ultimate defining trait of our species.

The prospect of a new world where supernatural power and immortality were within reach was irresistible. The populace quickly rallied behind the genius, but conflict soon erupted.

The ruling elite recognized the inherent threat. How could they maintain authority over individuals with the power to wipe out armies? They swiftly implemented draconian laws to ensure that only their hand-picked loyalists would reap the rewards of the new dimension.

These leaders did not hesitate to prioritize their own power over the welfare of humanity, moving to monopolize the new world.

They failed, however, to realize how much the genius had transformed during his exile. Upon discovering the leaders' schemes, he responded with swift, merciless violence.

In less than a week, thousands were purged, and the whole of humanity was brought under his singular rule.

Through that bloodbath, the man was crowned as the Emperor of Humankind.
