"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
The devastating symphony of explosions reverberated through Earth's streets as an relentless hail of missiles descended. Each projectile possessed world-shattering, star-devouring might, yet their singular focus was fixed upon one entity: Anark.
Anark, the True Primordial, moved with incredible velocity, a blur against the urban landscape. He navigated the avenues, executed sharp turns, and utilized towering structures as fleeting cover in his desperate attempt to elude Devil Child Adam. However, escape proved an arduous feat. The inherent advantage of flight bestowed upon Devil Child Adam granted him supreme control over the terrestrial battlefield, enabling him to dictate the rhythm of combat from above with chilling accuracy.
And that was merely part of the predicament.
Anark had just vaulted from a structure on the brink of collapse, moments before its annihilation by internal detonations. Yet, the instant his boots met the pavement, a searing torrent of fire rocketed towards him. The inferno's intensity was such that the very air around it seemed to combust.
With instantaneous reaction, Anark encased his limb in pulsating violet plasma and thrust it upward to intercept. The fiery onslaught connected directly. Gritting his teeth against the excruciating heat, he felt the flesh beneath his protective barrier begin to char. The sheer impact drove him skidding across the ground, gouging a deep furrow in the street.
Fighting through the throbbing pain, the True Primordial forced himself to stand, his gaze immediately finding Pyromancer Adam.
Despite the unhealed state of his injuries, Pyromancer Adam, shielded by Devil Child Adam's aerial support, maintained a calculated distance while unleashing concentrated volleys of explosive fire. The synergy between the two was flawless, their offensive patterns coalescing into a deadly cadence that offered Anark precious little opportunity for retaliation.
Anark's eyes narrowed. Just a few more decisive impacts would suffice to subdue Pyromancer Adam, but each time he contemplated closing the gap, another devastating salvo of missiles plummeted from the heavens.
A click of his tongue betrayed his mounting frustration as Anark was compelled to continue his evasive maneuvers. His mind worked furiously, desperately seeking a viable strategy.
Escaping Earth would reinstate his aerial capabilities, but this path was fraught with uncertainty. He had no intel regarding potential ambushes or reinforcements lurking beyond this locale's confines.
Furthermore, he had to account for the fact that without the constraining influence of Earth's terrestrial laws, their titanic clash would inevitably spill across continents, inevitably alerting the Judgment Day Kingdom. Even in the absence of Alpha Omega Overgods, the mere presence of potent artifacts could drastically alter the power dynamics. In a confrontation of this magnitude, the slightest lapse in concentration could spell utter doom.
No – this conflict had to be resolved here. On Earth.
Close behind, Devil Child Adam and Pyromancer Adam pressed their pursuit relentlessly, maintaining their strategic spacing. Abruptly, Anark veered into a substantial edifice, vanishing from their immediate view.
A shared glance passed between the two Adams, their expressions hardening with resolve.
Entering the structure presented a high probability of ensuing close-quarters combat – a scenario inherently perilous for their duo. Nevertheless, they were far from novice combatants. Without a moment's hesitation, Devil Child Adam unleashed another torrent of missiles, while Pyromancer Adam followed suit with spheres of incandescent fire, both assaults breaching the windows and setting the interior ablaze.
Within moments, the building was consumed by an all-encompassing conflagration. While the structure itself miraculously withstood the fury, the raging inferno rendered survival within virtually impossible.
Strategically positioning themselves at separate egress points, the two Adams prepared their assault. The instant Anark reappeared, they intended to unleash a coordinated inferno.
But seconds ticked by.
Then more.
There was no sign of his presence.
A furrow creased the brows of both adversaries. They had palpably witnessed Anark's entry into the building. Even with Earth's laws imposing perceptual limitations, his complete disappearance without a trace seemed utterly inconceivable.
Then-
A sudden, violent explosion erupted directly overhead.
Devil Child Adam’s eyes widened in alarm as he instinctively looked upward, just in time to witness Anark erupting through the ceiling of the engulfed edifice.
The True Primordial had braved the inferno, ascending to the building's uppermost level. From this vantage point, he had achieved the necessary proximity.
With a burst of explosive power, Anark propelled himself skyward, obliterating the ceiling beneath his trajectory as he hurtled towards his airborne adversary.
Devil Child Adam’s wings beat with frantic intensity, but it was too late.
Anark annihilated the distance in a single instant, latching onto his shoulder.
"CRACK!"
The grim sound of fractured bone tore through the air as Anark’s digits dug into flesh and splintered bone. Before Devil Child Adam could even emit a cry, Anark commenced his merciless onslaught, pummeling his opponent’s face with unrelenting precision. Each impact resonated with the crack of bone, violently rattling his skull.
In the distance, a series of explosive roars signified Pyromancer Adam ascending into the atmosphere, rising like a fiery comet towards the ongoing fray.
Anark showed no signs of abatement.
He continued his brutal assault, channeling all his formidable strength and lethal intent into every strike.
Into each strike, his focus remained absolute. Yet, even as he launched his assault, his senses were keenly fixed on the second adversary. He observed Pyromancer Adam advancing with haste, a hand outstretched and brimming with gathered power, poised to unleash yet another destructive blast or perhaps that blinding technique previously employed. Anark harbored no desire to discover which it would be.
Channeling a tremendous quantity of Void Primordial Force into his lower limbs, he instantaneously constructed a transient platform amidst the air. Utilizing this as a launching point, he contorted his physique and propelled Devil Child Adam downwards with the entirety of his strength.
Pyromancer Adam gritted his teeth, compelled to cease his offensive action as he intercepted his plummeting companion. The force of the collision drove both of them into a colossal statue positioned below, obliterating it into countless fragments as they careened through its structure.
Both figures shuddered from the impact, agony rippling through their forms, but their responses were immediate. Their gazes snapped upward towards the sky.
Suspended above, Anark lingered for a moment, his silhouette enveloped by tempestuous violet energy. Within his grasp, a colossal orb of Void Primordial Force began to coalesce, dense and ferocious, emanating an aura of utter destruction.
With a frigid, unyielding stare, Anark unleashed the sphere downwards.
The sphere descended with the gravitas of a celestial body, a moon of violet plasma plummeting from the heavens.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
The ensuing detonation was nothing short of apocalyptic. The very earth fractured, edifices crumbled, and colossal waves of violet energy radiated outwards, consuming all that lay in their destructive wake. The surrounding landscape was violently rent asunder, the cataclysmic blast gouging a colossal crater into the very surface of the planet.
