Cain studied the fused Ancestor Domains of the Eternal Soul King and Nirvana Crown Prince as their clash reached a breaking point. The domains collapsed in a cataclysmic explosion, leaving Shakra victorious but severely injured over the nearly slain prince. Shakra summoned the Half-Step Fourth Realm beast Ragnarok to finish him, but Cain intervened, shattering the beast with a kick, healing the prince's wounds, and shielding him defiantly. Enraged, Shakra declared war on both.

Shakra's power burst forth explosively.

Around him, dozens of Soul Beasts materialized abruptly, their shapes solidifying from raw soul energy. Although none rivaled Ragnarok's sheer might, every single one brimmed with formidable strength—more than capable of endangering a figure like Cain.

But rather than confronting them directly...

Cain sprang into action.

Golden radiance gleamed in his eyes while his form flickered across the field of battle, darting unpredictably in various directions. Reckless attacks were avoided, and overwhelming the foes was not his aim.

He sought to stall.

Linger.

Await the Nirvana Crown Prince's restoration.

This dawning truth only enraged the Eternal Soul King further.

Shakra's face grew stormy as he gestured wildly with his hand, directing the Soul Beasts with mounting desperation. They adapted their tactics fluidly—surroundings, multi-layered strikes, anticipatory snares—each crafted to trap and destroy a King-level adversary.

Facing any other foe...

Success would have been certain.

Yet the Red King stood apart.

Time after time, Cain evaded their clutches.

He seemed to foresee their motions before they unfolded—anticipating every path, every meeting point, always discovering the sole route to safety.

Shakra's scowl intensified.

He could escalate the assault.

Entering the fray personally, with his Half-Step Fourth Realm physical prowess, would match even the mightiest Omen Beasts.

Combined with his swarm of Soul Beasts, it could slay any opponent. Indeed, this was the very force that felled his uncle and seized the Soul Eternal Kingdom eons ago.

Yet doubt stayed his hand.

The prior battle against the Nirvana Crown Prince had inflicted severe wounds. His form was ravaged, his energy chaotic, and above all...

Cain's true capabilities remained unknown to him.

That doubt restrained him.

Thus, he kept commanding the Soul Beasts in an unyielding barrage, urging them to greater frenzy, driving them into a savage onslaught over the battlefield.

Simultaneously, he summoned his personal recovery artifacts.

Far superior to those Cain employed, their essence poured into him, repairing the damage, steadying his presence. Cain observed it.

His gaze sharpened briefly upon spotting the Eternal Soul King mending.

Yet no opportunity arose to ponder it.

A gigantic jaw lunged at him—barely missing his frame. Simultaneously, lethal talons slashed down from overhead, as a third Soul Beast whipped its spiked tail from below. Golden glow erupted around Cain.

His choice was instantaneous.

He surged skyward.

"CRACK!"

"ARGH!"

One Soul Beast howled in torment as Cain crushed its talons in mid-strike. Without hesitation, he leveraged the force to launch ahead

Directly at Shakra.

The change was swift.

No more mere dodging from Cain.

Now—

He pressed onward.

Shakra's gaze hardened as he lifted both palms, his Ancestor Eye igniting fiercely. The Soul Beasts reacted at once, swelling in size, boosting their power, hastening their assaults to unprecedented speeds.

They swarmed toward Cain.

Swifter.

Mightier.

More lethal.

Cain balled his hands into fists.

The White Mantle blazed up.

The Quietus Force grew denser.

As the Soul Beasts neared, their advances faltered—faintly yet critically. Each motion nearer to Cain weighed heavier, their velocity waning beneath the suppressive white

flames.

And upon Cain's counterattack—

The flames propagated.

They adhered to the Soul Beasts, locking them in brief paralysis. Mere moments passed, yet it sufficed.

One stride at a time—

Cain advanced.

Nearer.

Nearer.

To the Eternal Soul King.

A trace of alarm flashed in Shakra's eyes.

He sensed it.

The mounting drive.

The unstoppable approach of Cain.

"I need more time," Shakra mused inwardly, his features hardening. "Once I'm healed, I can clash with him directly... and overpower him. Then my Soul Beasts will rip him to shreds."

His Ancestor Eye blazed more intensely.

The Soul Beasts bellowed, their onslaughts turning savagely wild as they unleashed all their fury on Cain.

For an instant—

It proved effective. Cain had just hurled one away with a savage boot when—

Suddenly, something loomed before him.

A colossal, fiery horn.

Ragnarok.

Its vast frame should have been impossible to hide—but as a Soul Beast, it could disperse into soul energy and reconstitute in a flash.

It had struck from ambush.

The horn thrust ahead.

The Quietus Force impeded it—but insufficiently.

Far too rapid.

Far too potent.

Cain had no option.

He thrust up both arms to seize the horn squarely.

The collision rocked the entire battlefield.

He gripped it.

But just scarcely.

Its velocity was horrifying. Its blows wielded Half-Step Fourth Realm might.

But its brute physical power...

Lagged behind that tier.

Gradually—

Unyieldingly— Ragnarok forced him backward.

And it pressed further.

The remaining Soul Beasts encircled from every angle, their strikes uniting to bury him while immobilized.

For the first time—

Genuine peril engulfed Cain.

His survival teetered.

"Even injured... a Realm Ruler's strength is horrifying," he murmured.

His eyes flared crimson.

The Wings of Chaos ignited, energy flooding through him—

Yet before full deployment—

He perceived it.

A change.

A aura. And a grin curved his mouth.

Right then— The Wings of Chaos unfurled broadly.

And from their midst—

A silhouette appeared. The Nirvana Crown Prince.

His eyes seethed with might, his presence radiating as he bellowed—

"Nirvana Supernova!"

An enormous blast of rebirth fire detonated from his form, surging over the battlefield in a torrent of searing annihilation. Ragnarok was flung aside.

The encircling Soul Beasts were scattered violently, their arrays crumbling in an instant.

Cain sensed the burden lift.

He stood liberated.

His gaze blazed with resolve as he pivoted toward Shakra.

This time—

No hesitation.

Apollo's Burst ignited at maximum.

The Flow coursed through his veins as he synchronized with the Endless River, drawing its current.

His velocity skyrocketed.

In one blink— He disappeared.

And materialized—

Directly in front of the Eternal Soul King.
