The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2516 Black and white lightning
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Noah drew in a deep breath while his eyes fixed upon the Origin Star floating above his forehead.
It glowed softly, remaining translucent.
That fact alone revealed everything he needed to understand.
He hadn't entered the Third Realm of the True Primordial Path yet.
Breaking through to that level required the Inheritance of the Flesh.
Gradually, Noah shifted his gaze down to Anark.
Unlike the effortless and instant transfer of the Inheritance of Spirit, securing the second inheritance clearly wouldn't be straightforward.
The True Primordial of the Void met Noah's eyes directly, his face serene yet resolute.
"The instant delivery of the Inheritance of Spirit," Anark started, "serves as payment for the swift aid you gave against the Curse Eaters of the Tenth Empyrean World."
He paused for a moment before going on.
"However, when it comes to the Inheritance of the Flesh... we will need to discuss terms."
A keen spark flashed in Noah's eyes.
A deal had already been forged between them.
Yet before Noah could reply, Anark pressed forward.
"I will keep my word," he stated firmly. "But we never specified when I would grant the Inheritance of the Flesh. And given the backlash such a transfer will provoke, I am well within my rights to delay it."
His stare intensified a touch.
"We may even need to wait until the situation with the Worlds of the Root has been resolved."
Quiet descended.
Noah stayed silent for a few moments.
Then, with a soft sigh, he nodded.
"Fine," he replied. "Then let's come to terms."
A subtle smile curved Anark's lips, though his
attention never faltered.
"First," he declared, "your role on the battlefield."
Authority rang through his voice.
"I want you to take command whenever I am not present. Lead the Alliance to the best of your abilities against the forces of the Root... and any other enemies that may threaten the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe."
Noah's gaze sharpened right away.
The demand appeared straightforward.
But nothing could be further from the truth.
No time limit existed.
And 'when I am not present' carried dangerous ambiguity.
It might mean during training.
During injury.
Or even death.
A light smile touched Noah's lips.
"It seems your time with my brother helped you develop some scheming skills," he remarked casually.
His face then grew solemn.
"I accept that condition," he went on. "I will lead in your absence. But that obligation ends under two circumstances."
His eyes locked onto Anark's.
"Either upon your death... or after the complete destruction of the Worlds of the Root."
Anark's brow furrowed faintly.
Though he held no fondness for Noah, the Crimson Exarch's talents couldn't
be denied.
His command prowess, his strength, and his sway over allies turned
him into a priceless force against both the Root and the
rising Curse Eaters.
Even so, Anark realized that demanding more would only muddy the waters.
After a short pause, he nodded.
"Very well."
He advanced one step.
"Then I have another condition."
His tone softened a fraction.
"I want your help awakening my Ancestor Lineage."
A momentary silence.
"Once that is done, I will grant you the Inheritance of the Flesh."
His eyes narrowed.
"And after that... I want access to the Primordial Sanctuary."
Noah showed no hesitation.
"Fine by me."
The Crimson Exarch advanced and lifted his hand.
Next, he pressed one finger between Anark's eyebrows.
In that very moment—
The Red King Eyes burst with dazzling brilliance.
Behind Noah, his Wings of Order ripped through the weave of
reality itself.
An immense framework unfurled.
The Universe Matrix.
It resembled an endless spiderweb spanning all of existence, the bedrock supporting every layer of reality.
Each strand throbbed with cosmic might.
Each nexus embodied a law, a potential, a spark of creation.
However, something felt off.
The meddling of the Worlds of the Root had stifled the will woven into the matrix.
Muted it.
Yet that held no importance.
The Power of Order demanded no alliance from the Universe
Will.
It enforced its own rule.
Noah's eyes blazed ever brighter as his mind surged
over the cosmic web, seeking.
He probed endless powers.
Endless sources.
Until—
He discovered it.
One strand gleamed more vividly than the rest.
The matrix dimmed around it, isolating that solitary cosmic
power.
Anark's eyes widened as he beheld it.
At first look, it radiated golden light, indistinguishable from other
powers in the matrix.
But as he concentrated—
Deeper truths emerged.
Inside the golden glow, black and white lightning arcs
danced without cease.
"...Amazing."
The words slipped from Anark unbidden.
Awe quaked his heart.
Noah nodded faintly, a subtle smile on his lips.
"It truly is."
He gazed at the black and white lightning, his face turning
profoundly serious.
Awe shone in his eyes.
But reverence too.
"Primordials are said to be born from stars and novas," Noah explained.
"Echoes of the first lifeforms to manifest in the universe. Embodiments of the cosmic explosion that marked the beginning of
time."
He halted.
Then his voice grew deeper.
"But the truth is different."
He gestured at the radiant power.
"Your true origin is not the universe itself."
"It is this law."
Shock widened Anark's eyes.
All his life, he'd thought Primordials sprang naturally from
the universe.
That they emerged straight from its core essence.
But Noah's revelation demolished that conviction utterly.
For an instant, Anark yearned to challenge it.
To dismiss what he heard.
But peering into Noah's eyes—
No falsehood appeared.
Only unshakeable truth.
"The power of that great being was left within the Tenth Empyrean
Suns Universe," Noah went on. "That is why your existence is confined here... and does not appear in any other universe."
Anark listened quietly, soaking in each revelation.
"As for how it reached the Tenth Empyrean Suns Universe in the first
place..."
A faint, nearly amused smirk crossed Noah's face.
"Let's just say..."
"The one who gave me and my brother life..."
He paused for a beat.
"...fancies himself a collector."
