The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2382 The Scarlet King's strongest form

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Cain awoke in an isolated realm, his attempts to teleport thwarted by an unseen interference that severed his connections to his allies. Launching skyward, he collided with a massive, regenerating dome, which withstood his Zero-State Spear's assault. The Immortal Knight below revealed that only his death could breach the barrier, then transformed into his true form alongside two entities, Bako and Hako, proclaiming themselves the Curse Eater Race, rulers of the Tenth Empyrean World. Cain deduced their fused nature and multiple souls, recognizing one had fallen to his prior strike, while suspecting their words aimed to delay him.

A faint smile appeared on Sozing's face upon hearing the Scarlet King's statement, followed by a casual shrug.

"Perhaps," he replied with composure, "or perhaps I'm merely deceiving you—letting you think I desire this fight to drag on, while truly I crave its swift conclusion."

The immense Curse Eater named Bako chimed in with a tone of amusement, his numerous eyes squinting just a bit.

"That could very well be true. Remember, I've already informed you that escaping this realm requires my death."

At last, the jester-resembling Curse Eater chimed in, his tendrils drifting softly while his mask angled to one side.

"I've deceived you before," Hako murmured gently. "I can do it once more."

Those words caused Cain's gaze to intensify.

In his ascent within the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, Cain had consistently mastered the psychological side of combat. He had twisted dread, purpose, and anticipation, compelling foes to follow his beat. But now, he found himself outmaneuvered—duped by the Curse Eaters from the Tenth Empyrean World and pulled into an unfamiliar domain from which escape appeared impossible.

The Scarlet King stayed quiet briefly, staring at the void-filled heavens overhead. Afterward, he let out a sigh and grinned.

"It's futile to spend effort piercing your deceptions," Cain stated steadily. "You've demonstrated your skill at concealing your real natures."

Such remarks caused the three to scowl. The Scarlet King's unyielding composure and emotional restraint triggered alarms in their senses, and the situation intensified with the predatory hunger they sensed in his stare. "I possess numerous inquiries, and once I dispatch all fragments of you

onto my throne, answers will surely come to me."

Upon uttering that, Cain dropped his stance lower and assumed a combat pose. Zero-State Force ignited like blazing fire, thick and suffocating, yet rather than shaping into his typical spear, it coiled firmly around his limbs.

Sozing, Bako, and Hako creased their brows upon spotting the shift.

They had studied Cain's Zero-State Spear repeatedly, examining each encounter he'd had with the Monster of the Root. Its speed, reach, and power boundaries had all been memorized by them.

However, that extensive groundwork now appeared pointless.

Cain's Chaos Wings at his back started to twist before curling back toward him. They stabbed into his skin and sinews, integrating seamlessly into his frame. The Power of Chaos surged freely along his bloodstream, pushing his bodily prowess to horrifying elevated levels.

"I planned to conceal this until confronting the next being spawned from the Emptiness," Cain declared, his tone serene yet threatening. "Yet it seems you'll enjoy experiencing my power up close."

A broad grin stretched over his features as he inhaled deeply.

"Asura Form."

Briefly, the world seemed to halt in place. Duration paused, preparing for an event that challenged its very principles.

Then it arrived.

"Fourteen Gear!"

Crimson blazes burst forth from Cain's form, whirling fiercely about him. These weren't ordinary flames, but his very circulation—pumping with such immense might that it bypassed all constraints of tissue and vitality.

His heart pounded like a battle drum, every beat unleashing huge tremors that crumbled close structures and hurled rubble

through the air. The Curse Eaters got shoved back, compelled to step away multiple times merely to regain footing.

Sozing, Bako, and Hako steadied their positions and swiftly formed fighting arrays. Yet prior to grasping the unfolding events, Cain had closed in on them.

His extended palm fell like a heavenly cleaver.

Existence wailed as the impact ripped across it, breaking rules and dividing the void apart. The assault targeted Sozing's visage precisely, with potency sufficient to bisect the Immortal Knight completely.

Still, right when the palm—traveling swifter than chronology—was set to connect, its speed diminished.

Cain's gaze tightened.

A tremendously potent universal energy disrupted his assault, pulling back against his drive. Prior to Cain discerning its nature, Sozing lifted his arm.

The following moment brought a repelling surge exploding out—immense and irresistible. Cain got flung far off, smashing past a structure, then the next, halting only within the third. A slender streak of blood trickled from Cain's lips, yet nothing more. His resilience in this state proved fiendish.

Regrettably, before evaluating Sozing's might any further, his vision focused once more as an enormous dark stone silhouette plummeted from above

akin to a shooting star.

"BOOM!"

Bako slammed down with crushing might—but astonishingly, he struck empty ground.

Ere he could sense Cain's location, fingers gripped his throat and hauled him skyward. Cain ascended, wielding Bako's colossal frame as a demolition tool while they burst via the ceiling of an adjacent edifice.

The instant after, Cain balled his hand and thrust it right into

Bako's torso.

"BOOM!"

The hit exploded in a fierce burst of Zero-State energy,

propelling the giant Curse Eater downward. Ere Bako could try standing, the force within his torso flared anew—then once more—each blast digging broader and deeper pits across the

urban terrain.

A chilly smirk formed on Cain's lips.

He had merged Zero-State Force effectively with his Resurrección natural talents, transforming each bodily blow into a multi-tiered

destruction.

Without delay, Cain extended his arm at the pit, set

to unleash a lethal surge.

Then his gaze sharpened.

Myriad strands shot at him from every angle.

These came from Hako.

The jester-like Curse Eater's strands sliced buildings with ease, their cutting strength beyond question. Cain evaded amid them, dodging between filaments, yet their velocity proved excessive.

Soon, an enormous web encircled him, constricting swiftly.

Precisely when the strands neared his flesh, Cain pressed his

palms together.

Unseen edges bearing Zero-State Force rushed out, cleaving the web immediately.

Hako's gaze expanded as his strands got cut so effortlessly. His astonishment grew further as Cain directed his hand at him the very

next instant.

An enormous beam of Zero-State Force blasted ahead, devouring

the gap between them completely—targeted straight at the Curse Eater, poised to engulf him entirely.
