The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2371 The Scarlet King's new race (II)

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Anark's Primordial Force of the Void surges twofold through the Emptiness Lord's Essence, enabling him to shatter spatial seals and teleport behind Radagon, striking the King of the Root with soul-rending force that craters the battlefield. Radagon, enraged and expanding with Root power, counters fiercely but finds himself overwhelmed as Anark plunges into him like a violet meteor, obliterating the surrounding land. Amid the chaos, Cain disperses the Gate of Babylon against Robuke and, seeing the Wall of Fire and Flesh begin to close, orders the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance to retreat from the damaged World of the Root, leaving its warriors seething with hatred.

The ambition had been with the Scarlet King ever since he ascended to ArchDeity status, growing even stronger amid the fierce conflict between the Imperium of Time and the Scarlet Kingdom.

Yet, he had ultimately set it aside once he grasped the immense complexity involved in forging a fresh race—particularly one destined to rival the Supreme Races in stature.

Back then, such a feat had been utterly out of reach.

But the past hundred years had brought sweeping transformations.

Cain's command over cosmic laws and his prowess had soared to new heights, matched by his deepened expertise in Genetic Coding. Above all, his Neo-Demon Body had experienced a dramatic shift, evolving into a fused being of Neo-Demon and Neo-Angel origins.

All aspects of that transformation, along with its underlying concepts, were etched firmly in his consciousness and readily available via the Absolute Life Form System.

This provided him with a solid foundation to accelerate the endeavor.

Drawing in a steady breath, Cain shut his eyes and let his mind split into numerous directions, ceaselessly exploring various scenarios.

Given his present abilities, birthing a new race wasn't beyond possibility anymore. The real challenge hid in another area. The race had to bolster his fighters—endowing them with gifts and promise that could lift ArchDeities and possibly Alpha-Omega Overgods higher.

And achieving that proved far from straightforward.

Time after time, his concepts hit impasses. They might empower the lesser tiers, but nothing managed to truly advance the elite levels of the

Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance. Regardless of his adjustments, the upper limit stayed unchanged.

Following days upon days of unyielding contemplation, Cain let out a sigh at last and lifted his gaze.

"Apex," he inquired steadily, "got any suggestions?"

"Hmph. Brat, you only reach out when you want my help."

The System Spirit's voice resounded in his thoughts, laced with irritation. Cain just offered a faint smile.

In reality, the bond between him and Apex remained... intricate. Cain had suspected for ages that the Absolute Life Form System linked to the force which seized his form amid the clash with Dark Sky and the initial foray into the Heart of the Root. Since Apex knew of it, friction between them was unavoidable.

Moreover, Cain hadn't genuinely anticipated aid. Apex seldom offered straightforward guidance, opting to push Cain toward his own discoveries

instead.

But to his surprise, Apex went on speaking.

"Brat, crafting a race that can uplift Third Realm beings isn't child's play. You obviously lack the might to outright challenge reality's laws and spawn innate Supreme Races akin to the Primordials or Depravitas. Instead, seek a conduit—a catalyst for advancement that twists universal principles. Think along the lines of a Neo-Demon Core or Neo-Angel Core."

As soon as those words hit Cain's ears, a spark ignited in his eyes.

He swiftly discarded notions of innate progression.

Apex spoke true. Cain didn't hold the sheer dominance to impose that kind of change outright. Yet, he commanded a tool that warped existence profoundly—one vetted and effective. The Scarlet Throne.

Its might had expanded beyond measure, fueled not just by the myriad souls tied to it, but by the vast arrays of Scarlet Stars now permeating the domain—each pulsing with Third Realm essence.

"These Scarlet Stars link straight to my warriors," Cain

whispered, his mind whirling. "They deliver huge boosts in psychic and spiritual might, plus entry to the Conquest Path."

His breath grew rapid as insight dawned.

"Now, what I must accomplish... is elevate it all further."

Excitement blazed in the Scarlet King's gaze as the long-sought revelation at last emerged.

"I must merge the Scarlet Throne's power right into the souls and bodies of my warriors," he murmured gently. "Remove the intermediary completely—and unite them as one."

That held the key.

Certainly, attaining that stage posed a whole new challenge. Even so, Cain couldn't contain the rush surging within. His dream felt nearer than before.

Objective defined, the Scarlet King directed his attention to blending the Scarlet Throne's boundless spiritual forces

with the bodies and essences of his fighters.

He sealed his eyes and plunged into profound contemplation, summoning the [A.I. Chip Module] to evaluate viability, steadiness, and enduring effects through endless virtual trials.

Moments slipped by in quiet.

At the end of a full week, Cain's eyes finally parted.

They shone with the radiance of insight and triumph, bathing the throne chamber in light.

He lingered for a second, then wordlessly conveyed the approach to Apex.

"Mmm," the System Spirit grumbled shortly after. "I guess it

might succeed. Labeling it a new race stretches things a bit, but it'll surely amplify ArchDeities—and maybe even

Alpha-Omega Overgods."

"However," Apex pressed on, "a huge flaw exists."

Cain's elation faded entirely. He understood Apex's point and

conceded it.

Still, they couldn't afford a cautious route, not with The Root's shadow pressing down.

This stood as the optimal route he could forge—one to propel them ahead and at last pierce the barriers of the World of the Root. No matter the price, retreat was impossible

now.

Wearing a solemn look, Cain directed his sight to a room in the Scarlet Crown, positioned right nearby his.

"Come."

In under three seconds since the order rang across the realm, a silhouette materialized in the throne chamber.

He stood as a massive figure exuding dominance. A savage energy cloaked him, fiercer than solar flames. His strength matched Cipher and the top titans of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance. He could activate Resurrección and commanded two Alpha-Omega Overgod artifacts.

Behind Cain and Anark, he ranked as the mightiest in the Scarlet

Kingdom.

Naturally, he was Leonidas himself.
