The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2356 Using the Primordial Force of the Void
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Cain’s grin grew broader as the devastating forces of Nihility and Entropy washed over the World of the Root. Great expanses of tainted soil crumbled into nothingness, erased as though they had never occupied space. However, that joyful expression eventually dimmed, and his gaze sharpened with focus.
Emerging from the very core of the world was the same figure who had previously commanded the Scarlet King to cease his assault.
As the entity ascended to the surface, its aura radiated in every direction, violently quelled the destruction Cain had left behind. The warped terrain grew still, and the turbulent energies retreated under the weight of pure authority. Not even the combined might of Entropy and Nihility could withstand his presence.
Once the figure stood firmly upon the ravaged ground, he fixed his eyes on Cain—eyes that seethed with unadulterated rage and loathing.
"Radagon."
Cain’s eyes shimmered as he uttered the name. At that exact moment, the Matrix of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe began to take form. While its reach could not entirely saturate the World of the Root, it possessed more than enough power to suppress and weaken any foreign entity bold enough to step outside.
Radagon glared at Cain, his animosity deep and boundless.
In his mind, Cain was the catalyst for every one of his failures.
Had it not been for the youth, the gateway to the Emptiness would still be open. Without his interference, Radagon would never have been forced into the role of a lowly pawn.
If not for this man, Radagon would have secured the total favor of The Root, perhaps even ascending into a higher realm of Cultivation.
Instead, because of this single person, every one of his grand designs had been demolished.
Radagon understood clearly what fate awaited him once his utility reached its end.
His consciousness would be absorbed into the collective mass of the Root. His individuality would vanish, leaving his existence as nothing more than a faint echo within a sea of eternal torment.
And yet—
Despite how much his soul yearned to butcher Cain, his primary directive took precedence.
He had to safeguard the World of the Root.
At least for the time being.
Shifting his focus away from the Scarlet King, Radagon poured his power into the fractured Wall of Fire and Flesh, attempting to mend the horrific wounds Cain had dealt.
Unfortunately for the King of the Root, Cain had no intention of permitting such a recovery.
Unfurling his Wings of Chaos once more, Cain forcibly blocked the wounds from sealing shut. Simultaneously, he manifested a barrage of End-State Spears, hurling them through the breach in a relentless torrent.
Radagon moved with instant reflex to parry the strikes.
He succeeded in shattering most of the projectiles—but their sheer volume was overwhelming. Their chaotic flight paths made it impossible to intercept every spear from a distance. One after another, they slammed into the world’s crust.
While none possessed the singular power of the initial strike, their cumulative impact was catastrophic. Vast territories were turned to ash, incinerating not just physical matter, but the souls and psychic foundations within—damage that even the World of the Root found impossible to heal.
Radagon’s expression hardened.
Suddenly, a massive tentacle burst from the World of the Root and latched onto the back of his skull. The psychic energy and life force of the corrupted world surged into him, stabilizing his state and allowing him to endure the suppression of the Universe Matrix to a degree.
Space warped as the King of the Root lunged forward, appearing before Cain in a flash. His fist lashed out like a concentrated beam of black light.
Cain’s Wings of Chaos snapped shut.
With a cold, piercing gaze, he gripped a Zero-State Spear and thrust it forward with peak intensity.
"BOOOOOOOOOOM!"
A thunderous detonation rocked the void as the fist and spear met head-on.
Cain felt a tremor run through his entire frame.
The sheer force behind Radagon’s blow was staggering—truly monumental—even while hampered by the Universe Matrix. Yet, despite the immense pressure that threatened to crush him, Cain did not yield.
A broad smirk stretched across his face.
He had successfully traded blows with the King of the Root.
Radagon’s eyes widened with disbelief.
Because his very essence had been ravaged during the conflict with the Red King, followed by the breach of the Heart of the Root, Radagon was far from his peak. Even so, he could still exert power at the absolute threshold of the Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank.
And yet, Cain had matched him.
Worse still, as the stalemate persisted, the momentum began to turn.
Anark and the other peak powerhouses watched the duel from afar without interfering. They understood that Cain desired this fight—both as a gauge of his own Cultivation and as a public testament. This clash was intended to demonstrate to every soldier of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance just how far their Warmaster had climbed.
It was also the ultimate proof that the Root could be conquered.
Cain’s eyes flared with increasing intensity, scarlet and gold radiance burning like twin suns as he pushed his limits. Then, before the eyes of all onlookers, he inhaled deeply.
In the following heartbeat, a shroud of violet energy coated the Zero-State Spear.
Anark’s expression shifted in surprise.
That specific energy was unmistakable.
It was his own signature—the Primordial Force of the Void.
Utilizing the Power of Chaos, Cain was capable of drawing upon a portion of Anark’s strength. However, Primordial Force was a power that typically could not be shared.
Yet Cain had achieved the impossible.
The secret resided within his Lucid Dream.
Every weapon in that realm was a reflection of those Cain had fought beside and bonded with through Chaos. Through these connections, he could manifest fragments of their essence, weaving them perfectly into his own techniques.
It was a truly terrifying talent.
And it left Radagon utterly defenseless.
Bolstered by the Primordial Force of the Void, Cain shattered Radagon’s guard and buried the spear deep into the King of the Root’s chest.
The force of the blow sent Radagon hurtling backward, his body carving a path through the fabric of space.
To his credit, Radagon recovered his footing almost instantly, halting his retreat mid-air. But before he could launch a counterattack, his survival instincts screamed out in terror.
Behind Cain, a colossal gate began to materialize.
The moment Radagon laid eyes on it, a sense of profound dread filled his soul.
Something far more dangerous was about to emerge.
