Ye Chen and Jin Shuhui arrive at the Star Moon Palace assessment, which requires them to overcome a corridor protected by powerful, escalating seals. Despite the increased difficulty of protecting Jin Shuhui, Ye Chen shatters the seals with a single overwhelming strike. Upon arriving in the Moon Soul Domain, they are met with rich spiritual energy and a suspicious local guard who suspects Ye Chen possesses a powerful hidden background. Now safely within the new domain, Ye Chen acquires a map and sets his sights on a location linked to his past conflicts.

Without a moment to lose, Ye Chen and Jin Shuhui vanished, rushing toward Qing Liao City!

Is the Zhan Family truly blameless?

Certainly not. How could Zhan You have possibly mobilized several early-stage Heavenly Repairing Realm warriors for a vendetta without the explicit approval of the Zhan Family Patriarch?

One must realize that even for a minor faction within the Moon Soul Domain, those three cultivators represent a significant amount of valuable combat power!

...

The Zhan Residence is an expansive, opulent estate situated in the most vibrant district of Qing Liao City.

However, at this very moment, a dark and oppressive gloom hung over what was once a magnificent manor!

Deep inside the main hall, a bald, eyebrowless man with a savage expression glared at a kneeling servant. He growled in a low, dangerous tone: "Have you uncovered the truth? Tell me, what truly transpired in the Star Swirl Domain to You’er and Tributor Qiu?"

This individual, Zhan Shangqi, is both the father of Zhan You and the current Patriarch of the Zhan Family. His personal reach and cultivation level within the vast Moon Soul Domain are rather modest.

At the mere mention of his son, a fresh pang of heartache pierced Zhan Shangqi!

Only a few days prior, when his spoiled son proposed taking a group to the Star Swirl Domain to settle a grudge, he had dismissed the risks and granted permission...

Yet, unexpectedly, the Life Fires of both Zhan You and his retinue had been snuffed out simultaneously!

Zhan Shangqi ground his teeth, consumed by bile. He could never have conceived that his son, bolstered by the family’s elite tributes, would perish while seeking vengeance against some insignificant entity in the Star Swirl Domain.

Still, a glimmer of desperate hope remained. Martial artists occasionally stumble into hidden realms or distorted spaces where their Life Fires flicker out simply because they are severed from the outside world.

Driven by this thought, he had immediately dispatched his finest scout to investigate the Star Swirl Domain.

The servant, trembling with terror and well-acquainted with his master’s brutal temperament, hesitated for a heartbeat.

Swallowing hard, he stammered: "My investigation suggests a ninety percent probability that while the young master was leading Tributor Qiu and the others against a location identified as Refining God Peak, they were... they were defeated by an adversary..."

Defeated?

Combat between cultivators is hardly a sporting event; in their world, defeat is synonymous with death!

"What did you say!"

Zhan Shangqi erupted, flashing instantly before the scout. His aura flared wildly as he hoisted the man by the throat. His eyes, rimmed with blood, blazed with rage: "Are you mocking me? You’er entered the Star Swirl Domain backed by three warriors at the early-stage Heavenly Repairing Realm!

The Star Swirl Domain is the backwater of the Outer Realm; those three could easily flatten the territory. Not to mention, the major sects are currently occupied with their hunt for a mysterious girl. And you have the gall to tell me You’er was defeated?"

Under the crushing weight of Zhan Shangqi’s pressure, the scout’s bones groaned and organs began to rupture. Agonizing pain wracked his body until he coughed up blood. His eyes bulged in their sockets, his mouth moving silently in a desperate plea he could no longer voice!

As the scout hovered on the brink of unconsciousness, Zhan Shangqi dropped him, suddenly appearing as if he had aged a decade.

Retreating to his seat, he wore an expression of such venomous malice it seemed as if he would gladly burn the world to ash to satisfy his fury.

After a lingering silence, Zhan Shangqi choked out: "Who did this?"

Huddled on the floor and gasping for shallow breaths, the scout forced himself to answer: "According to reports... it was someone known as Ye Chen in the Star Swirl Domain... he seems to utilize a fake identity linked to Black Gold City, but little else is known, save for the title he holds: 'Fierce Person'..."

"Ye Chen?" Zhan Shangqi let out a hollow, crazed laugh, his eyes burning with intense malice as he declared: "I shall teach him the true meaning of ferocity! Dispatch a messenger immediately to summon Lishan Fairy!"

Even in his broken state, the scout’s face paled at the mention of that name, and he blurted out: "Master, are you truly willing to invoke Lishan Fairy for the sake of this boy? The price alone is enough to shake the foundations of our entire family!"

Hearing this, Zhan Shangqi roared: "The cost is irrelevant! I will reduce that boy named Ye Chen to dust to avenge my son. You’er! My dear You’er! Now get out and summon Lishan Fairy at once!!!"

Zhan Shangqi did not ascend to the position of Patriarch by being a simpleton. Though formidable, he understood that as a soul cultivator who employed dark techniques to raise a Calamity Ghost, Qiu Pi was an expert in the Soul Dao.

If Ye Chen proved capable of defeating Qiu Pi, then seeking vengeance would be no simple task.

However... Zhan Shangqi suppressed a sinister smirk. With the intervention of Lishan Fairy, the tide would surely turn.

No matter how freakish that boy from the Star Swirl Domain might be, it was impossible for him to survive once Lishan Fairy took the field!

The scout dared not refuse and, dragging his battered body, crawled toward the exit.

Lishan is a towering peak located not far from Qing Liao City. It is a land lush with Qi, breathtaking scenery, and abundant resources, stretching across tens of thousands of miles. Any number of minor sects could have easily established their gates there.

Yet, strangely, this majestic mountain remains deserted; there are no sects, and not a single cultivator dares stake a claim to its riches!

Only a modest thatched hut sits upon the summit.

The entirety of Lishan is claimed by a single inhabitant, Lishan Fairy. Her true identity is a mystery, but since she took up residence, no soul has dared to trespass on the mountain.

What caused this?

How could a land so rich in Spiritual essence remain so desolate?

In the past, the area was controlled by the moderately powerful Ba Sun Sect. But after Lishan Fairy arrived, the influential sect vanished from existence overnight!

The specifics of that night are lost, yet all understood that the tragedy was unmistakably her doing.

From that day on, Lishan transformed from a treasure trove into a realm of forbidden terror.

Nevertheless, once such a potent figure appeared, local powerhouses could not simply ignore her existence. Who truly wants a man-eating tiger lurking in their backyard?

These local leaders once pooled their forces to confront her.

While the region mainly consists of smaller towns and doesn't rival the entirety of the Moon Soul Domain, their combined strength was quite respectable.

Everyone anticipated that the mysterious entity who shattered the Ba Sun Sect would be forced to vacate, would they not?

Yet...

The leaders fled Lishan with downcast heads and tails between their legs. Upon returning to their homes, they issued strict decrees: no disciple was ever to set foot on Lishan again!

The reputation of Lishan Fairy was cemented that day.

Concurrently, a new rule was whispered throughout the region...

Lishan Fairy’s condition...

"If a power of the seventh grade or higher requests my presence at Lishan, this fairy will act once for you, provided it is within my power to do so; naturally, you must offer a price that satisfies me."
