The Divine Urban Physician Chapter 3434: 3434: Get Lost! (Sixth Update)

Previously on The Divine Urban Physician...
While finding a moment of peace with Sun Yi, Ye Chen learns that his old friend from Huaxia, Zhu Ya, has surfaced in the Lingwu Continent. A mysterious photo confirms her identity, leading Ye Chen to discover that she is being held by the Jade Sword Sect to be used as a grim blood sacrifice. Consumed by a murderous killing intent, Ye Chen sets out to rescue her before the sect can complete their ritual. Meanwhile, trapped under intense spiritual pressure, Zhu Ya can only hope for her safety as the deadline for her sacrifice nears.

Zhu Ya understood clearly that the ritual known as the Blood Sacrifice involved using one's own lifeblood to temper and neutralize the murderous intent within a blade.

This was a truly barbaric and inhumane practice!

Scanning her surroundings, she realized she was surrounded by skeletal remains.

There were more than a thousand of them!

She wondered if every one of these victims had been sacrificed by the Jade Sword Sect.

Were they all brought here just as she had been?

Was this the Lingwu Continent that the powerful experts of the Kunlun Mountains longed for so desperately?

It was a place of lawlessness where life was treated with utter contempt!

While Zhu Ya did not fear her own demise, she was terrified of failing her mission.

Her only desire was to relay the news regarding Huaxia to Mister Ye; if she could achieve that, she could die in peace.

Unfortunately, no such opportunity presented itself.

Creaaak!

The heavy doors swung open.

Several Elders entered the chamber, dressed in specialized Artifact Refining Clothes, their faces etched with gravity.

“The timing is nearly perfect. Although this girl lacks a high Cultivation level, her essence is pure enough to suppress the killing intent of these blades.”

“We must not delay. Today is an auspicious day, so let the ritual commence!”

The artifact forgers of the Jade Sword Sect signaled to one another and began to approach Zhu Ya.

Suddenly, a terrifying pressure descended from the heavens.

The expressions of everyone in the room shifted instantly. Ignoring Zhu Ya for the moment, they hurried outside to investigate.

When they witnessed the celestial phenomenon above, they were struck with terror!

“Could it be… has that devil… has the devil returned?”

Back inside, Zhu Ya’s brow furrowed. She was uncertain of the cause, but the sheer weight of the suppression made it nearly impossible to draw breath.

She wondered if some cataclysmic event was unfolding within the Lingwu Continent.

“Ye Chen, where are you?” she whispered.

Outside, the forgers and numerous disciples of the Jade Sword Sect stared at the sky in apprehension.

To their relief, the ominous dark clouds vanished as quickly as they had appeared.

Wang Jiuxu and his companions made their way toward the Sword Pavilion.

“Elder Zhou, what is the status of the Blood Sacrifice?”

Wang Jiuxu asked, a faint smirk playing on his lips.

The lead Elder Zhou let out a sigh of relief as the sky cleared. “The Blood Sacrifice requires a specific alignment. I was concerned that the sudden darkness signaled a problem, which is why I stepped out.”

“We are ready to begin now.”

“This girl may have a weak Foundation, but her bloodline is exceptionally pure.”

“She has already neutralized a significant amount of the swords' killing intent during this time.”

“However, she still retains some consciousness. As you know, the sacrifice is most effective when the subject is suspended between Yin and Yang. Do you wish to handle her, or shall we?”

Wang Jiuxu narrowed his eyes and glanced at the eager Liu Meihan. “There is no need to trouble the Elders. Give us one minute, and we will break her will so she exists in a state between life and death.”

A moment later, Wang Jiuxu, Liu Meihan, and their group entered the Sword Pavilion.

Looking down at the pale but defiant Zhu Ya, Wang Jiuxu sneered, “Zhu Ya, Zhu Ya, are you still clinging to hope?”

“Let me guess, are you waiting for that girl Zhen’er to save you?”

Zhu Ya’s eyes snapped wide at the mention of the name. She screamed, “What have you monsters done to Zhen’er!”

She felt like a criminal; it was because of her that Zhen’er had been put in danger.

Liu Meihan laughed mockingly. She knelt down and gripped Zhu Ya’s chin, saying arrogantly, “That girl was quite unlucky. After we were through with her, she likely became nothing more than a pile of bones.”

“As a mere servant disciple, she had no right to interfere with our designs.”

“I should mention, I slapped her twice before she expired. Her pathetic, stubborn expression was identical to the one you are wearing right now.”

“It seems all lowly people look the same in the end!”

Zhu Ya’s eyes turned bloodshot, consumed by a towering rage.

Zhen’er was completely innocent!

How could these people be so cruel to her?

With every ounce of strength she had left, Zhu Ya tried to strike Liu Meihan, but her body refused to obey.

“Oh? You still want to fight back?”

“You are nothing but an ant. Where do you get such courage?”

In an instant, Liu Meihan gathered her Qi into her palm and struck Zhu Ya in the chest!

Zhu Ya’s fragile frame was sent flying into a massive block of iron.

She coughed up a spray of bright red blood.

Wang Jiuxu and the others watched with cold indifference, their hands behind their backs.

To them, Liu Meihan’s brutality was simply a means to prepare the Blood Sacrifice. Torturing the weak was a common pastime in the harsh reality of the Lingwu Continent.

Yet, Zhu Ya did not give up. Instead, her fury seemed to set her Dantian ablaze.

Though she was battered and disheveled, she forced herself to stand.

She glared at Wang Jiuxu, Liu Meihan, and the artifact Elders outside with eyes full of hatred.

She burned their faces into her memory.

If she died, she vowed to return as an Evil Ghost to ensure they all suffered a miserable end.

If her soul was absorbed by the blades of the Sword Pavilion, she would become a Dragonslayer Sword to hunt these creatures down herself!

“You bitch, you still think you can retaliate?”

“Let me teach you the fundamental laws of the Lingwu Continent!”

“Rule one: Ants must kneel before the powerful!”

Liu Meihan’s face twisted into a sinister grin as her Qi surged, directing a crushing pressure onto Zhu Ya.

Zhu Ya’s legs began to shake violently.

The sound of her bones cracking under the weight was audible.

Despite the agony, she refused to fall!

No matter how overwhelming the pressure, her spirit would never allow her to bow to such trash!

“You won't kneel?”

Irritated, Liu Meihan summoned a sphere of flames in her palm.

The fire coiled around Zhu Ya like a massive dragon, yet it did not singe a single hair.

Liu Meihan was being precise; she intended to draw out the torture as long as possible.

… At that very moment, the Sect Master of the Jade Sword Sect, Yu Hanshan, snapped his eyes open in his secluded chamber.

The Grand Elders were also jolted awake.

They had all sensed a terrifyingly powerful presence rapidly approaching their sect.

A formidable expert had arrived!

In a flash of light, they streaked toward the main gates of the Jade Sword Sect.

“Who is this powerful figure descending upon us?”

“That aura… it feels incredibly hostile.”

“Could it be the devil we feared?”

“The sky turning dark earlier was clearly a warning sign.”

“We can only wait and see.”

“If they are an enemy, we must defend the Jade Sword Sect with our lives!”

The Sect Master and the Grand Elders stood ready, their faces full of resolve.

Suddenly, the very fabric of the Void tore open in front of them.

Two figures stepped out.

It was Ye Chen and Zhen’er!

The leadership of the Jade Sword Sect was stunned!

As high-ranking officials, they recognized Ye Chen immediately. One of the Grand Elders had even been present during the Rising Dragon Competition.

Since the rise of the Demon Suppression Hall, Ye Chen’s reputation had become legendary.

They had even erected a statue of him, hoping to inspire a genius of his caliber within their own ranks.

Sect Master Yu Hanshan was suddenly overcome with excitement.

Hall Master Ye, the undisputed number one expert of the Lingwu Continent and the Divine Kingdom, had come to their sect!

Could this be a great blessing for them?

He hurried forward, a fawning smile plastered on his face. “Ye… Hall Master Ye! Your arrival is a supreme honor for our humble sect. It truly makes the Jade Sword Sect shine. Please, come with us, we—”

Before he could utter another word, a mountain of killing intent erupted from Ye Chen.

“Get lost!”

A single command shook the air!
