Long Tianjin, the leader of the Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance, is alerted to the return of his daughter Long Qingyi, accompanied by Long Qianyao and his niece Long Rou'er. Tianjin rushes to the dock to greet them, embracing his son-in-law Long Qingyi. He is overjoyed to see his daughter and niece, lamenting only that his deceased wife cannot be present for this reunion.

Tianjin walked away from Qingyi, his eyes resting on his daughter and niece.

He already knew Qianyao would soon be by his side.

She remained with Qingyi, a young man destined for nothing less than absolute greatness, and it was only a matter of time before father and daughter were reunited.

But Rou'er was different.

For the most part, it had already become an almost certain truth in his heart that she was dead.

He knew her mother had managed, at the very last second, to send her far away from the Heavenly Demon.

After that, however, only silence remained.

The Celestial Heaven was vast, an infinite ocean of worlds and stars.

In the first ten thousand years of his search, he had found only a few clues that pointed to her existence.

In the hundred thousand years that followed, even those crumbs dissolved into nothingness.

By the one hundred and fifty thousandth year, he had already given up, focusing all his attention on healing the daughter he still had left.

With Rou'er's talent, inherited from both her mother and father, it was impossible for her to live so many years without being noticed.

She would either die young or rise to become one of the greatest superpowers in all of the Celestial Heavens. There was no middle ground.

For Tianjin, the mere fact that so much time had passed without Rou'er ascending as a Celestial Empress could only mean one thing: she was dead.

In his heart, he had long since extinguished the flame of hope of ever seeing her alive again.

And yet, there she was. His little Rou'er, as adorable as ever.

Tianjin closed the distance with quick strides, pulling both women into a brief but heartfelt embrace before stepping back, his hands firm upon their shoulders as if afraid they might vanish the moment he let go.

His eyes shone with an intensity he hadn't known in ages.

"Long Qianyao… Long Rou'er… Long Qingyi," Tianjin declared, his voice laden with emotion. "This emperor, in the last two hundred thousand years of his life, has never been so happy. Come, follow me. Tonight, we will celebrate all night long!"

The excitement in his voice surprised even the Golden Guards who had accompanied him throughout his life.

Never, in the last few thousand years, had they seen Tianjin like this.

Tianjin motioned for Qingyi and his wives to follow him, extending the same gesture to the people of the Cosmic Dawn Sect, who trembled at the invitation.

"Aren't you coming?" Feiyue asked, her eyes falling on Ma Zhenwu, who had frozen completely in place.

Was Qingyi's relationship with Tianjin really that good?

They looked like old friends reuniting, not simply a father-in-law and his son-in-law.

That, without a doubt, was not a political marriage—which meant that Tianjin truly held Qingyi in extremely high esteem.

To be so highly esteemed by a Celestial Emperor...

Zhenwu closed his eyes, his jaw clenching ever so slightly.

He had been a fool. He should have married his granddaughter to Qingyi at the very first opportunity.

In the end, he swallowed his shame and simply bowed his head before Feiyue.

"I don't want to interfere, Miss Feiyue… and I still have to go see my granddaughter," Ma Zhenwu said, drawing a gentle smile from her lips.

"Very well. I'll send one of my guards with you," Feiyue declared, giving the old man a light pat on the shoulder. "I've heard of your sect leader's interest in marrying her to Qingyi. If this is also the young master's wish, then so be it."

In the end, the old man simply nodded.

Just as he'd expected.

Fate wanted the two of them together!

He could only sigh, mixing resignation and hope in a single breath, clasping his hands behind his back.

Feiyue didn't press the matter. "The Divine Maiden Sect is going through a bit of a crisis at the moment, but don't worry. The guard I'll send will be able to resolve it."

Without further hesitation, she motioned for one of the highest-ranking Golden Guards to follow Zhenwu and ensure his safety.

She was the commander of the Golden Guard, second only to Tianjin himself.

Naturally, the guard did not hesitate, accepting the order and quickly approaching Zhenwu, who shuddered at the sight of a Celestial Emperor bowing before him.

The Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance currently had two hundred Celestial Emperors in its ranks.

Most of them were young, as the number of Celestial Emperors had fallen to fewer than thirty after the war against the Dragon God of Corruption.

Even so, they represented twenty percent of all Celestial Emperors in the Central Region.

Having one of them escort him personally nearly brought Ma Zhenwu to tears.

He could now die in peace.

Qingyi also paid little attention to Ma Zhenwu's departure. Exchanging a grateful nod with Feiyue, he simply walked alongside Tianjin, his two wives nestled in his arms.

"How did Rou'er survive?" Tianjin asked, his eyes wandering over Long Rou'er's small figure. "Judging by her cultivation level, she doesn't seem to be more than twenty years old."

"I'm not entirely sure myself," Qingyi replied, stroking Rou'er's short pink hair, his fingers gliding through the silky strands.

"The Priestesses of Corruption seem to have managed to place her in some sort of time pocket, programmed to burst open upon my ascension. She appeared at the Cosmic Dawn Sect a few years ago and was adopted by the leader himself."

Rou'er, for her part, showed little interest in the conversation, simply enjoying Qingyi's touch on her hair, purring softly with contentment as she leaned into his side.

"I see… that explains why it was so difficult to find any trace of her." Tianjin nodded with a heavy sigh as they walked through the main spaceship docking area of the Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance.

The remaining Golden Guards formed a tight circle around them, sealing off the surrounding air and ensuring that no one could overhear their conversation as they made their way among the gigantic moored vessels.

Of course, even so, it didn't take long for speculation to begin.

With Qingyi's declaration referring to Tianjin as his father-in-law, those who knew the status of the Dragon God of Corruption's heir—especially the high-ranking elders—quickly realized who Qingyi was.

A storm would soon engulf the entire Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance.
