"If this kind of societal scum dies, it’d be like removing a menace for the people, right?" Su Changfeng took a step forward and followed.
In the early morning street, there were few passersby. Zhao Yijun was holding a girl and headed straight to a nearby hotel.
Su Changfeng didn’t plan to waste time on such things and caught up with the two in a few steps.
Seeing someone blocking him, the flushed Zhao Yijun cursed angrily, "You little brat, get the hell out of my way, or do you have a death wish?"
"I’m here to kill you," Su Changfeng stated bluntly.
Zhao Yijun paused, then suddenly laughed. Over the years, he’s made so many enemies that he couldn’t count them all, but no one dared to do anything to him because of the power behind him.
The punk in front of him didn’t even look of age but dared to confront him and state outright that he would kill him—utterly laughable.
Zhao Yijun pushed the girl aside and, drunkenly staring at Su Changfeng, said, "Kid, so you really have a death wish."
Su Changfeng glanced at the girl beside him and said, "You’d better go home now. You might get scared in a moment."
The girl glanced at Su Changfeng and then left without a word. She wasn’t scared; she just needed an excuse to leave. She’d heard about Zhao Yijun’s perverse tastes. If she didn’t have to, she’d never want anything to do with Zhao Yijun. Now, with a chance to leave, she naturally took it.
"Punk, who’s your boss? Didn’t they tell you what happens when you cross Zhao Yijun?" Zhao Yijun said.
Seeing the girl disappear into the distance, Su Changfeng shifted his gaze, strode up to Zhao Yijun, and without a word, kicked him in the stomach.
Zhao Yijun was sent flying and rolled on the ground for a while before finally stopping. It was then that he realized the kid in front of him was not as simple as he thought.
After this incident, Zhao Yijun sobered up a bit, covering his stomach and saying fiercely, "You little shit, you’re looking for death."
Su Changfeng didn’t bother being polite. He swiftly approached, grabbed Zhao Yijun by the hair, and dragged him into a small alley.
In just a few minutes, Su Changfeng left the alley. There was no sound in the pitch-black alley, eerily quiet to the point of deathly silence.
Wu Feng had already found a place for Su Changfeng to stay and sent him the address. After dealing with Zhao Yijun, Su Changfeng went directly to the house Wu Feng arranged for him.
When Su Changfeng stopped in front of a complex, he was stunned.
"Could it be such a coincidence? Is someone kidding me?" Su Changfeng looked surprised at the complex before him. It was obviously where Gao Yuan lived. He never expected that the house Wu Feng arranged for him would be in Gao Yuan’s neighborhood.
What surprised Su Changfeng even more was that as he walked into the complex, a strange premonition grew stronger in his heart.
The direction was becoming more familiar, almost exactly the same as the last two times he came.
He ended up in the same building as Gao Yuan!
Even worse, he seemed to be Gao Yuan’s neighbor!
"Are you really not kidding me? How can the world have such coincidences?" Su Changfeng looked resignedly at the sky, standing in the familiar place, feeling like fate was toying with him. Otherwise, why would such a coincidence occur?
Having been here twice already, Su Changfeng had a general understanding of the environment. He initially thought this place was just a small episode in his life. Little did he know, fate would play such a big joke on him. But now that things were as they were, there wasn’t much he could do.
Su Changfeng couldn’t help but wonder, if Gao Yuan knew about this, what would she think? She’d probably misunderstand him, wouldn’t she?
But it was already so late; she was likely asleep. If they were to meet at this hour, Su Changfeng genuinely wouldn’t know what to say.
Fortunately, their fate wasn’t that intertwined. Su Changfeng didn’t encounter Gao Yuan and safely entered the apartment.
The environment inside was decent. It seemed Wu Feng had arranged for someone to clean beforehand, so Su Changfeng simply washed up and went to sleep.
By tomorrow, the incident with Zhao Yijun would surely be discovered and cause a huge stir. No matter how you look at it, he was quite a notable figure, and his sudden mysterious death would certainly intrigue others.
But for Su Changfeng, this was nothing. Besides, Zhao Yijun was wicked and didn’t deserve to live in this world. Over the years, he must have harmed many innocent girls and families. By killing him, Su Changfeng truly did the community a service.
That night, Chen Bonian couldn’t sleep at all. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to sleep, he just couldn’t. His mind was constantly pondering what Su Changfeng was up to.
Tossing and turning all night, at six in the morning, Chen Bonian got up and called his brothers to gather.
The tattooed man still looked half-asleep when Chen Bonian called him and told him to go out and see if there was any news about Zhao Yijun. Chen Bonian had an unshakable ominous feeling.
"Boss, are you okay?" the tattooed man asked, looking at Chen Bonian with a puzzled face. People like them usually worked at night, so they woke up late in the morning, but today at six, Chen Bonian woke him up.
"Stop wasting time. Go out and see if there’s any news. If you keep up this attitude, I won’t hesitate to wake you up forcefully!" Chen Bonian said through gritted teeth.
The tattooed man looked at the stick in Chen Bonian’s hand, shuddered, and all his sleepiness vanished. He quickly waved his hand and said, "Boss, no, no, no, I’ll go now."
After the tattooed man and his guys went out, Chen Bonian’s heart was still racing. Last night, he had been pondering Su Changfeng’s purpose. He thought the most likely scenario was that Zhao Yijun was dead, but in his eyes, that seemed impossible. No matter how skilled, he was just a kid. Would he really dare to kill Zhao Yijun?
As time went by, Chen Bonian grew increasingly uneasy. Around nine o’clock, the tattooed man finally returned, looking frightened out of his wits.
"Well?!" Chen Bonian asked anxiously.
The tattooed man’s chest heaved, and he stammered, "Boss, boss, Zhao Yijun, Zhao Yijun he... he..."
"What happened to him? You’re killing me with suspense here!" Chen Bonian asked more and more impatiently.
