"Let go of my sister." Su Changfeng reached out to stop the man.
"Where did this brat come from, daring to ruin my plans? Get lost!" The man glared at Su Changfeng unpleasantly. How could he possibly take notice of a kid in his teens?
"If you leave now, I’ll let you go. Otherwise, don’t blame me for not being polite." Su Changfeng said calmly.
"Heh, little guy, you’re young, but your tone’s pretty big. Today I’m going to teach you a lesson and see if you dare to meddle in other people’s business again!" The man was instantly furious; his good mood was interrupted, of course he was angry.
Without hesitation, he kicked out, intending to teach this insolent kid a lesson.
Instead, Su Changfeng also kicked fiercely at the man’s knee.
"Ah!" The man’s scream echoed instantly, his face contorted in pain, his bone shattered.
He let go of the woman, and Su Changfeng quickly helped her up.
"I warned you, didn’t I? But you didn’t listen." Su Changfeng said calmly.
The man held his knee, face full of pain. At this point, he had no interest in whatever Su Changfeng was saying, nor did he have any intention to listen.
Just then, a taxi drove up from afar, and Su Changfeng quickly waved it down.
He helped the woman into the car and glanced at her bag to figure out her address.
If it were any other teenager of Su Changfeng’s age trying to carry an adult woman, it would be extremely difficult. But for Su Changfeng, it was nothing at all.
When he carried the woman to the front of the apartment complex, the security guards were shocked.
"Whose kid is this, having such strength at such a young age, it’s unbelievable."
"Looks unfamiliar, but the woman he’s carrying lives in the complex; could he be her brother?"
The two security guards watched Su Changfeng’s back with a look of amazement.
Taking the elevator to the woman’s home, Su Changfeng was surprised to find the place clean, not the mess he anticipated.
After tossing the woman onto the bed, Su Changfeng went straight to the living room. Even if he wasn’t truly 14 years old, he had no interest in such a woman.
"I helped you out, at least let me rest in your living room, that should be okay, right?" Unable to find a place to stay, Su Changfeng casually made himself comfortable.
The next morning, the woman finally regained consciousness, and relieved to see her familiar room.
"Looks like he isn’t the kind of jerk who would take advantage, but what exactly happened last night, why can’t I remember a thing?" the woman murmured.
At that moment, an unpleasant smell of alcohol wafted to her nose, and she couldn’t help frowning, disgustedly taking off and tossing aside her clothes.
Planning to take a good shower, the woman just walked out of the room.
"Ah!"
Next was a sharp scream that shocked Su Changfeng awake from the sofa.
As soon as he opened his eyes, Su Changfeng saw the woman panic-stricken, covering herself.
Quickly turning his head, Su Changfeng asked, "What are you doing?"
The woman finally reacted, running back to her room in a panic, living alone she didn’t expect a stranger in her home.
And she had nothing on just now...
But this was just a kid, why would there be a strange kid in her house?
Returning to her room, she dressed and took a deep breath, then walked out again.
"Who are you, how did you get here?" she questioned Su Changfeng irritably.
"Someone drugged you yesterday, I happened to pass by and brought you back, resting in your home for a bit." Su Changfeng said honestly.
"Drugged?" The woman froze slightly, thinking the man was a gentleman, didn’t think he’d do such an excessive thing.
"He was on the phone when I passed by, mentioning involving someone else, you know what I mean, right?" Su Changfeng said.
The woman’s expression turned instantly ugly. Had they succeeded, she’d be devastated.
If this happened, her life would be over.
But this young boy saved her from that man?
"How did you save me?" The woman asked curiously.
"If I’m not mistaken, he’s probably in the hospital now." Su Changfeng replied.
The woman looked confused at Su Changfeng; he was clearly a younger teenager, yet had a maturity reminiscent of an adult man.
Suspiciously, she went into her room, presumably contacting someone to verify Su Changfeng’s words.
A while later, she emerged from the room, solemnly thanking Su Changfeng.
"Well, if everything’s alright, I’ll head off now." Su Changfeng said.
Just about to leave, the woman suddenly asked hesitantly, "Did you, did you see...?"
"I’m not blind, but it’s not like I did it on purpose." Su Changfeng replied, somewhat speechless. What could he do, waking up to that kind of scene? It wasn’t what he wanted either.
The woman’s face flushed red suddenly, she quickly looked away, regretting asking that question; she knew the answer, why care to ask?
But this was the best outcome; had he not intervened, the man would’ve likely succeeded, and she’d have been at a loss.
"Alright, to thank you, I’ll treat you to a meal, but don’t tell anyone about what happened just now." The woman offered.
Su Changfeng shook his head, uninterested in dining, and having helped her casually last night, no thought of expecting to be repaid.
"Alright, I’ll head back." Su Changfeng waved his hand, signaling to leave.
Seeing him leaving, the woman seemed anxious; she couldn’t say why exactly, seeing Su Changfeng about to leave made her anxious.
"I’m Gao Yuan, what’s your name? Let’s be friends if possible."
"Big sis, don’t tell me you fancy me? I’m still a minor." Su Changfeng teased Gao Yuan. Helping her was a spur-of-the-moment decision, with no intention of entangling further.
