"You... what are you doing? Are you trying to die?" Ye Weijun glared at him, saying with a guilty expression.
Su Changfeng sneered as he walked over, clenching his fist and viciously smashing it into Ye Weijun’s chest.
Ye Weijun’s facial expression twisted in pain, crouching on the ground in great agony.
"Does it hurt?" Su Changfeng asked him expressionlessly.
"It hurts."
"Good, seems it’s not a dream." Su Changfeng nodded, saying something that Ye Weijun did not understand at all.
In the current world, only Su Changfeng understood what was happening.
To Su Changfeng, this was not a particularly good outcome, but he could not be too greedy. Unfortunately, he estimated it would be difficult to meet Ye Nianhai anytime soon.
The dejected Ye Weijun left Su Changfeng’s room, looking aggrieved.
Su Changfeng naturally understood he was probably going to seek help from Shangguan Feihong, but he was not afraid. Although he was only 14 now, he was not the same 14-year-old as before.
Back then, at this age, he could only stay silently in the Ye Family, enduring grievances and injustice. But now, he no longer needed to do so. With his current power, he could do whatever he wanted.
Reborn, it was time for Su Changfeng to prove himself.
He strode out of the room, still the unremarked backyard that even the Ye Family servants wouldn’t bother looking at.
Su Changfeng smiled slightly, never could he have imagined that such a fateful opportunity would exist in the world, allowing him to live again, even during such an awkward time.
At that moment, a servant of the Ye Family ran over anxiously, rushing to Su Changfeng’s side. He still remembered this person; his name was Wang Sheng, one of the few servants willing to speak with Su Changfeng.
"Young Master, it’s bad. You should go hide quickly," Wang Sheng said urgently as he approached Su Changfeng.
"What’s wrong?" Su Changfeng asked nonchalantly.
"I saw the eldest young master crying and shouting to Old Madam again; if you don’t leave now, you probably won’t be able to soon," Wang Sheng said.
Among all Ye Family servants, he was virtually the only one dissatisfied with Su Changfeng. Clearly both were young masters of Ye Family, yet Ye Weijun was showered with affection while Su Changfeng’s life was worse than a servant’s.
Su Changfeng shook his head; if he didn’t have his memories, perhaps he would find a place to hide. But now, he no longer needs to. Even without the Ye Family background, he can still do whatever he wants.
"Forget it, just let it be," Su Changfeng said indifferently.
Upon hearing this, Wang Sheng panicked. He knew all too well about Shangguan Feihong’s bias. If Ye Weijun indeed complained to Shangguan Feihong, then Su Changfeng’s fate would be terrible.
"Young Master, please listen and go hide for now," Wang Sheng urged.
"It’s honestly fine. But you, don’t stay here anymore. If Shangguan Feihong sees you, maybe you’ll get implicated too," Su Changfeng advised.
Wang Sheng’s face changed; although Su Changfeng had no emotional bond with Shangguan Feihong, he had never heard Su Changfeng address Shangguan Feihong by name.
The young master before him seemed different now, but Wang Sheng was not quite sure how.
Yet, Wang Sheng knew that if he lingered here, he would certainly be implicated.
"Young Master, be careful, I’ll head back first," Wang Sheng said with remorse and reluctance, then departed swiftly from the backyard.
Ultimately, he was just a servant; his capabilities were limited.
Su Changfeng took a deep breath, returning to the mindset of a 14-year-old, yet his feelings were different now. It’s as if he viewed everything with the perspective of an observer.
The former Su Changfeng could only silently endure at the Ye Family; even forming a faction had to remain hidden. However, he no longer needed to do that; now, he could overturn the world alone.
Thus whether he breaks relations or is directly expelled from Ye Family, to Su Changfeng, it was nothing.
Soon enough, Shangguan Feihong, burning with anger and holding a ruler, appeared.
This was Ye Family’s rule, but it seemed the rule only applied to Su Changfeng. Regardless of whether he was right or wrong, Shangguan Feihong would indiscriminately punish Su Changfeng, even if Ye Weijun was at fault.
"Su Changfeng, you’ve become more daring, haven’t you? To lay hands on your brother!" Upon hearing what Ye Weijun said about being hit by Su Changfeng, Shangguan Feihong was immediately furious.
To her, Ye Weijun was all of Ye Family’s hope; how could he be struck by a wastrel like this?
"Shangguan Feihong, before you act, shouldn’t you ask why I hit him?" Su Changfeng said with a grin, knowing full well this wouldn’t change anything, yet he wanted to speak up for himself.
"Su Changfeng, what did you call me?" Shangguan Feihong was almost furious enough to faint. Su Changfeng’s blatant disrespect was absurd.
"Su Changfeng, are you insane? She’s your grandmother, what did you just call her?" Ji Hong arrived hastily upon hearing the news and caught Su Changfeng’s words. She intended to help Su Changfeng, but his attitude upset her too.
"She doesn’t consider me her grandson, so naturally, I won’t treat her as a grandmother," Su Changfeng said to Ji Hong.
Ji Hong was slightly taken aback, instinctively sensing that the Su Changfeng before her had dramatically changed.
At this point, Shangguan Feihong, seized by rage, approached Su Changfeng, gripping the ruler.
Beside them, Ye Weijun laughed smugly, childishly sticking his tongue out at Su Changfeng, clearly very pleased with his success.
Su Changfeng’s mouth curved into a smile, casually extending his right hand to block Shangguan Feihong’s motion as the ruler was about to strike down.
"Shangguan Feihong, what right do you have to hit me?" Su Changfeng coldly questioned.
The fury within Shangguan Feihong grew more intense; she never imagined this brat would be so audacious!
"Why, I hit when I please, do I need any reason?" Shangguan Feihong replied, ready to pull back the ruler, yet surprisingly found that she couldn’t, no matter how much force she exerted.
"Go ahead, aren’t you going to hit? Why, changed your mind?" Su Changfeng said flatly.
Shangguan Feihong’s expression grew increasingly ugly; Su Changfeng had never defied her so thoroughly.
