"Kai, please don’t leave." Chen Yuxin suddenly stopped Ye Shikai.

"What else do you want to say?" Ye Shikai’s tone was cold as he removed the bandages from his head. The injury was merely superficial, not serious. He knew if Chen Yuxin entangled him, it would delay his progress.

"I... I know I’ve done many wrong things, but there were reasons for all of them. Kai, please don’t be angry." Chen Yuxin hadn’t expected that Ye Shikai’s Dantian had been restored. "You’ve been pregnant for several months; you should be resting at home, not here." Ye Shikai said calmly. The child in Chen Yuxin’s belly was his. Even if he despised the snake-like woman before him, the child was innocent. Holding any blame towards the child because of Chen Yuxin would be wrong on his part.

"I came to find you, Kai. You know, someone said you disappeared on the Holy Mountain due to time travel. And there’s rumors that the Kunlun Secret Realm contains time-traveling energy, too. That’s why I sought you out. It’s wonderful; you’ve finally returned." Chen Yuxin cried tears of joy, delighted to see Ye Shikai again. The two-month wait had nearly driven her insane. Just earlier in the snow, she happened to discover that the person fending off the Snow Demon was Ye Shikai. Seeing his head injured and fainting in the snow, she quickly arranged for people to carry him to a nearby cave for healing.

"Kai, it’s so wonderful to have found you. I’ve missed you so much."

"Release me first." Ye Shikai forcefully broke free from Chen Yuxin’s embrace, keeping a distance from her.

"Since you’ve found me, there’s no need to worry. Go down the mountain; I have matters to attend to." Ye Shikai said indifferently.

"Kai, don’t leave." Chen Yuxin suddenly blocked him.

"Is there anything else?"

"Kai, since I’ve found you, why don’t we go down the mountain now? I don’t care about the treasures in the Kunlun Secret Realm. What I want is you." Chen Yuxin persuaded.

"You go down first; I have things to do. I must go to the Kunlun Secret Realm." Ye Shikai replied firmly.

"Why, Kai? You’re not someone who would risk your life for treasures; why insist on taking risks? If I hadn’t passed by earlier, you might have been killed by the Snow Demon." Chen Yuxin questioned.

"I have my reasons, which you don’t need to know. But I’m definitely going to the Kunlun Secret Realm, and I must be the first." Ye Shikai insisted on leaving but was blocked at the door by Feng Ling and Xue Ming.

"Please return, sir."

"Do you think only you two can stop me?" Ye Shikai sneered. Xue Ming and Feng Ling were both Chen Yuxin’s capable aides, their skills even surpassing Nightmare, but Ye Shikai was confident. He was already in the Body Integration Realm, and the gap between the Divine Separation and Body Integration was insurmountable.

"Kai, let’s stop this and go down the mountain. I promise I’ll stay home and rest, as you wish." Chen Yuxin also stepped forward to persuade.
